His historic Mansion was the first in the valley to have ellectricity and even has a working elevator! Family friends who have stayed at the Mansion include Teddy Roosevelt and Charles M. Russell. Mr. Conrad's daughter, Alicia, lived alone in the home throughout the 1970's, when she reached a deal with the city to turn her childhood home into a museum. Alicia was a saver, and because of this, the home is filled with all original furniture, dishes, and toys. it is truly a step back in time!
