A scenic roadway that travels through the Shenandoah National Park. The closest entrance to Harrisonburg is found by traveling east on 33, close to the town of Elkton. Big Meadows, one location in the Shenandoah National Park, offers seasonal rangers programs. There are also a variety of trails for hiking throughout the park.
