The straightest way to the Summit of Mt Washington is via the Cog Railway. Only 25 minutes from the house the cog is a unique experience that will bring you to the Mt Washington Observatory in about 60 minutes. A must for anyone looking to experience Mt Washington for themselves with the sore legs.

Echo Lake Beach is like no other setting for summer lounging and relaxing with family. Least I leave out Hiking to Lonesome lake, the Flume or the basin. And finally, there leisurely bike ride from the top to the bottom is a great way to explore the whole area in a day.
