Front Street is, in my opinion, the best place for drinks in Laramie. Great atmosphere and Sweet Melissa's (my fav restaurant) is attached, so you can order from that menu while being in this atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

The historic Buckhorn Bar and Parlor is a real treat. Look for the bullet hole in the glass behind the bar! It is the real deal!

Coal Creek TAP is connected to Coal Creek Coffee House. They have a great selection of Laramie brewed beers and a nice atmosphere! Better yet, it is located directly at the bottom of the footbridge! Look for the mural with colorful hands and fish that is painted on the side of the building!

Night Heron is a lovely place, filled with a calm, relaxing atmosphere and a definite local favorite! Just like Sweet Melissa's, the owner of Night Heron books lives on Cedar Street as well! This is also a used book store, so be sure and find a treasure to read while on vacation! Local art is normally on display as well.

If you're looking to head up to the mountains, just jump onto Snowy Range Road (just seconds from your stay). Head to West Laramie and connect onto Highway 130. 27.7 miles you will be at the base of the Snowy Range mountains and also in a beautiful little mountain town (where I grew up) called Centennial. There are three different places to dine (The Mountain View for breakfast and lunch, The Trading Post for dinner, and The BearBottom for dinner). Bear Bottom and Trading Post also serve drinks.

Beautiful collection of artwork that is always changing. The architectural design resembles a tee-pee on the plains. I am continually impressed with the quality of work that comes into this museum. If you're an art lover, like myself, please consider going!

My son and I havent tried this place yet, it just open out by WalMart. It is an indoor Ninja Warrior Gym and looks like something that would be a lot of fun for kiddos/families!

Right behind the Laramie Rec Center is the Laramie Ice and Events Center. During the winter this is a fun place to take kiddos when there is open skating happening!

Located just a couple blocks from your stay! The trail is a nice walk along the Laramie River. Optimist Park has basketball courts, soccer fields and a play area, all nestled next to the Little Laramie River.
