Ruin bar
Once you visit Budapest you must get familiar with the ruin bar (romkocsma) concept: makeshift bars inside dilapidated pre-war buildings furnished with furniture assembled from clearance sales and exuding an inexplicably cool atmosphere. Today Budapest has many but Szimpla pioneered the genre, it opened in 2004. It is one of Budapest’s oldest iconic ruin bars, with also great food and farmers market on Sundays.

Tue is for the ladies. From Fri afternoon all weekend is for both genders. The bath also organizes night baths on weekends.
