Getting Around the Cote d'Azur
For our visitors arriving by air & taking the train to Mandelieu, we recommend taking bus #99 from Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) to the Nice-Ville train station, often referred to as Nice Gare, or Nice SNCF station, in the center of Nice city.
This airport express bus 99 connects both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 with the Nice Villa Train station twice per hour in 15 minutes.
Bus 99 stops directly at the terminal and train station making it a good solution when traveling with luggage or at odd hours. Bus 99 requires an Aéro Ticket (€6) available at the kiosk where the buses are waiting.
When the tram is finally in place & operational, that will be the new best method, but as of this writing, September 2019, it's not ready yet! We'll keep you posted!

Trains run often from the gare, which is just 5 minutes from Islette du RIou, using the private gates rather than the google maps directions. Tracey will have to show you were the gates are so that you can easily walk directly to the village, the ports & the beaches.
While the residence's gates are used very often, guests need a special bip tag (provided) to enter & exit if no one else is around.
The local trains can take you all over the Riviera & to Italy as well. Consult https://en.oui.sncf/en/ for ideas, destinations, tickets & schedules.

You must wave to the driver to ask them to stop.
The Gare Mandelieu la Napoule & the Geant Hypermarche are within walking (and driving) distance.
