We love living downtown because it is so easy to just walk to dinner and have a drink without worry about driving. Here are some of my favorites!
This is the must-visit place of Gig Harbor. Watch boats sail in and out of the harbor. Seasonal specials and happy hours menu, along with a wide selection of entrees. Good selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails. The walls are lined with fan travel photos in their Tides gear from all over the world.

Best burger in town, hands down. Every time I go, there is a line out the door, so be prepared. Grab a beer and enjoy the truffle fries!

Great space to sit and have a beer with friends, inside or out on a sunny day. They do not serve food, but you can bring in take out from your favorite place. Fun atmosphere. Children are allowed, no pets.

Favorite place to walk with my sister (who does not like beer!) and taste some of the local distilled favorites. The always offer neat gift packs if you're looking for a souvenir.

Easy to enjoy parks and trails
Cushman Trail is a 12+ mile paved trail just up the street. There are some challenging hills for bikers to the north and to the south you can go almost to the Narrows Bridge. Connecting is just a short ride down Reid Rd.
