My husband and I love to go to the point on Sunday either to bike the trails, walk for miles along the nature trails or go canoeing. Sometimes we like to just pack our beach stuff and take a lunch, spend the day on the beach.

This is a beautiful park to just walk around, I love to go and sit by the lake and see what the horticulture society has done each year. The Folk Fest is held here every August with lots of great artists.

This is a beautiful beach! Go for the day relax on the beach. Rent a paddle board, grab a bite to eat or take a picnic lunch. You can walk or ride here from the cottage. If you have a fishing boat you can put it in the water here.

Okay, so this is one of my favorite things to do! It is like stepping back into 1950. You can explore the whole island in a day. End your day at the winery. You can take the ferry from the Leamington docs from March to July and the Kingsville docs from August to November. You can choose to either walk on and rent bikes when you get there. Its around $7.00 a person each way. If you choose to bring your car you will need to make a reservation on Ontario Ferries ahead of time. its about $16.00 each way. The boat ride is so peaceful and the last boat ride at night is beautiful with the sunset.

This is my go to for breakfast. Garfield's is in walking distance from the cottage. The food is great and the price is right. Its an old dinner, but he service is very good and people are very friendly. Outdoor patio

This place is not for everyone. Its a little run down. Is the kind of place that you would go and not care what you look like. My husband and I usually will order take out from here, because the burgers are great! Thursday night is bikers night with live music.

This is such a beautiful place to eat. This is the lavender farm as well. I just love going here. They have a beautiful gift shop to brows or do the wine tasting then have a wonderful meal! The food is so fresh and made with lots of local fair.
