This is so much more fun to shop than the Washington Square Mall and it's only 15 minutes away. I'm a BIG fan of supporting independent shopkeepers and the restaurants are top rate. Parking sucks tho.

We have a WONDERFUL zoo here in Portland just over the hill from the condo. If you have the time, and are so inclined, check it out. There are also concerts here in the summer months!
