Mt Somers is a fabulous place to go if you love nature trails. Take the miners track to the old mine and admire the stunning views. Venture further with a sleeping bag and and cooking equipment and overnight in Woolshed creek hut and further on to Pinnacles Hut. These huts are DOC serviced which means there are wood and coal provided. A hut ticket is very reasonably priced. Mt Somers has so many options from easy family strolls to a walk/climb with a greater degree of difficulty
