I think they roast their own beans and it's very cosmopolitan feeling. It's delicious, artisinal and addictive. The decor is gorgeous- I call it Industrial Alpine (copyright). They also have beer and wine.

I can always count on a good drink and great people watching and when we need to get down and funky, DJ Lamonte never disappoints. Many a fun night have been had here even if I can't remember them all. I even met my husband here.

I almost hate to put this here. It used to be a great secret but now it's got a full liquor license and is always busy. They have great pub food as well as drinks and even an internet juke box. This is for sure part of my night time circuit. Always fun.

Parks & Nature
The entrance to the park is 37 miles away and the views are breathtaking. Mono Lake is on the way and also a neat place to see. There are some really fun food stops too- Mono Cone or Tioga Mobil Mart/Whoa Nellie Deli. Both are really good.

It's beautiful, there are lakes literally everywhere you turn and lots of walking paths and hiking trails. There are campgrounds and you will never run out of things to see. My friend has shown me super old plane wreckage, fallen trees due to the worst wind event I've ever heard of in this area and water falls. Again, you may recognize it from commercials and movies. It's that pretty.

Parking LotIt's beautiful, there are lakes literally everywhere you turn and lots of walking paths and hiking trails. There are campgrounds and you will never run out of things to see. My friend has shown me super old plane wreckage, fallen trees due to the worst wind event I've ever heard of in this area and water falls. Again, you may recognize it from commercials and movies. It's that pretty.

Lookout Point RoadThis is one of my favorite places here. It is beautiful. There is nothing but a parking lot and a bathroom so it's usually not crowded and the views are stunning. The Minarets are a unique formation and once you know it, you'll recognize it in movies and commercials. It's great for listening to the wind and watching the clouds roll by.

I love this place. I am a ski bum and this is where I do my best work. I don't take ski trips because no other mountains really measure up. Biking is super fun in the summer too.
