Entry to the gallery and stunning Piet Oudolf Gardens is free and there is an excellent restaurent / cafe / bar as well (open daytimes and Fridays and Saturday evenings). This tiny little museum gives you a lovely insight into the area. Open Monday–Friday 11am–1pm, Saturday 11am–3pm it is well worth a visit before lunch At the Chapel which is practically next door.

Parks & Nature
Stourhead Park and House (National Trust) are a short drive or a delightful walk away. The gardens are some of the most beautiful classical gardens in the country. The house contains wonderful art and architecture. There is a lovely restaurant as well as a perfect English pub The Spread Eagle, which does good food.

Sightseeing
This triangular folly built by the victorians to commemorate Alfred The Great is a lovely walk up the hill from Vincentine. The tower is not always open but the walk there is always beautiful. From the top you get the most glorious views across the Somerset and Wiltshire landscape.

Longleat is about 20 minutes drive from us and is a must see with its safari park, stunning house, lake, maze and many other thrilling activities.

Frome has a wonderful street market on the first Sunday of every month. Even if you miss that there are many many small independent shops in Frome that will bring you back again and again. There are also plenty of venues and restaurants that will keep you fed and entertained while you are there. The cinema has recently reopened and now has 3 screens and tickets are £4 each!

Lovely friendly small town about 5 miles down the road.
There is a butcher and grocery stores there and excellent bread available in at least 3 shops. The river Brue flows through and you can walk along some of it on a very pretty lane.
