This pub has a fantastic outdoor area by the quay to sit and enjoy right by the tributary of The River Dart, where you can watch boats arrive on the quay. Inside are tables overlooking the quay, ask for a window table. Even arrive by boat yourself, but only accessible at high tide and with a 2 hour window.

If it is hot you can even take a swim at South Sands beach in Salcombe. A good day out for a mix of walking, beach, museum, and shopping in Salcombe.
