One hour by car (near to Locarno) I really recommend visiting Lavertezzo, where there is a beautiful Roman bridge and a natural pool where you can swim. The atmosphere is really magic and worth a visit. The water is fresh and clean, ideal for hot days.
Valle Verzasca (the valley where lavertezzo is) has a lot of magic spots, I invite you to discover them! I'm sure will not disappoint you!

Near the accomodation, 5 minutes by car, there is a nice lido "lido di Agno" where you can swim and sunbathing. The lido has a entrance ticket.

This walk is really simple and pleasant and you don't need to have practically anything with you except a camera and binoculars because you will find water and even bars / restaurants on the way.

Lido di Caslano, on Lake Lugano, with its sandy beach, lawn and beach volleyball court is the perfect place for families.
The beach has changing rooms, showers and toilets. In the evening there is often live music in the bar. The small village of Caslano also has a lot to offer, such as a lovely old town with restaurants, ice cream shops and mini golf course.
From Caslano station the beach can be reached in 15 minutes on foot. The Lido di Caslano is located right next to the port of Caslano where the boats of Lake Lugano dock.
