Only 2min walk from my apartment! 😊 this park has 2 areas: the “old” area with just a nice park and the “new” area with funky bars and restaurants. The Concious Hotel has a great sunny terrace if you wanna have a drink, the Espresso Bar has the best coffee, Troost brewery does good beers and food and Tonton Club is a lot of fun for playing some games while having a drink. Mossel & Gin has the best seafood & gintonics.

This beautiful district is “true Amsterdam”. Packed with shops, bars and restaurants it makes a lovely area to walk around. From my apartment you can choose to walk for 15 minutes or take bus 18 towards Central Station and get out at “Westerstraat”.
The Westerstraat is a good starting point for exploring this district, and you’ll find plenty of places for a drink and bite.

Have a stroll on the market, get a great lunch at “Little Collins” and get the absolute best food and cocktails at “Bardak” (make a reservation). Gerard Douplein (a square in this area) has endless bars and terraces for a seat in the sun or a late night drink.
