WE LOVE THIS PLACE. The fried chicken and fried catfish (Farm raised and EXCELLENT) is all you can eat. Super nice family owns the business and treats Military and First Responders so well. The "Vittles" are amazing:
All our dinners come with ALL ‘U CAN EAT VITTLES, which consist of: Our creamy homemade coleslaw, made from scratch baked white beans, choice of french fries or homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, our FAMOUS signature southern hush puppies and dill pickles & onions slices.

The Old Mill "area" is awesome and the restaurant is spectacular. It is less than 1/2 mile and we always walk there as you kind of need to walk back to burn off some of the tons of food they give you.

This is a real throwback!! Old fashioned 5 & 10 store located at The Island!! You've got to go see it. We walk there all the time, less than a mile away.
