A small seaside town with a great pier and lots of the character you'd hope for from an English seaside town: arcades, surfing, coffee shops, crabbing, pubs, a cinema, theatre on the pier and a lovely beach. A recent addition is the Banksy artwork on the beach between Cromer and Overstrand (find it just passed the last beachhuts at Cromer). There's an hourly bus from just at the end of the Londs to Cromer. Check online for up to date timings.

Cromer Beach

An outside amusement park based on dinosaurs- great for families and children up to early teens. Family favourites are the high wire walking, the Dinosaur shows and the splashpark when it's warm. It takes under an hour to go- during covid times you have to book in advance.

The best fish and chips in Cromer (according to my husbands family but I don't think we've ever been anywhere else to confirm this)- a firm family favourite. Order to takeaway and eat on the pier if warm enough.

The cafe at the end of the road on the clifftop before you walk down to the beach. Great breakfasts, cake and they serve wine and icecream. They shut at 4. Say hi to Liz the manager! Very dog friendly.
