fresh water to Liverpool.
The Dam is a great feat of engineering definitely worth seeing. There is the RSPB site,great for bird watching, various cafes, bike hire, sculpture trail, waterfall walk, boating and water sports and a gate way to the whole of Snowdonia National park.
