A small island is connected by a sandbar about 200 feet to the shore. Locals pull up their boats along both sides of the sandbar & float / sit in the sandy shallow water, grill out on their boats and party.

A great spot for a bite to eat of a drink with a lakey summer vibe. They have bands on weekends too and is the main bar in the area for lake nightlife. Accessible by boat & car, there's a marina here too with giant fish to feed!

Navigating to Sunnyside Cottage by water:
When navigating back by water from the boat ramp, take a right out of the boat ramp cove. You’ll see Sandy Trace townhouses on your right, continue past them and the next cove. Sunnyside is located in the next cove to your right. It is in the back left corner of the cove, with the double boat house and sand beach.

I recommend Stone House Timber Lodge for boat rentals. It's about a 15 min drive away by boat and by land. Their prices have typically been the best on the lake.
You can rent tubes for the boat here too.
