The "real" Icehotel opens during December every year, but even if you visit Jukkasjärvi during summer, you can visit the Icehotel 365 - like a big freezer with possibility to enjoy rooms, Icebar and get a good feeling of the Icehotel. Approx SEK295 to visit and worth the money if you visit Jukkasjärvi for the first time. In a way, you can not go to Jukkasjärvi without seeing the Icehotel.

Follow the signs to the top of the mountain. Bumpy road, but possible to access by car. Go all the way up and enjoy a fantastic view of the city of Kiruna!

If you have access to car, be sure to travel on the road between Kiruna and Narvik. It takes an hour to drive to Abisko and the road is fantastic! Amazing views and once in Abisko, you can grab a nice coffee and hang out with all the tourists that are hiking in the area.

90 minutes away from Kiruna, on the fantastic road between Kiruna and Narvik, you will find Silverfallet. Nice surroundings and a great place to visit for fantastic views of nature.

Located next to our house - a nice, old building that serves local variations of dishes and good beer and wine. My personal tip, try the Souvas Pizza!

Be sure to have a dinner at this place! Don't focus on the outside of the building, but once inside, you will experience fantastic food and very good service at this restaurant. I would say this is the best restaurant in Kiruna. Book table at their website or give them a call.
