Neighborhoods
We are a 12 min walk to either the beach or the sound. For beach access we recommend walking to 5th street and using the crosswalk to cross the main road and following down to the beach. This can be a busy road. A pro tip if you are joining on a very busy weekend or have young children is to have one member of your party drop off your guests via car at the 5th street beach access. You can then return to the cottage and walk back to the beach.

We love taking our bikes to the beach or sound
You can walk to either the beach or the sound. The bike is obviously faster! At the end of Durham street you will find the multi-use path which is a lovely wide pathway that is perfect for a bike ride along the water.
