Beautiful beach
La Selva is located in the middle of a nature reserve (the Northeast Ecological Corridor) and is the most important turtle nesting site in the Caribbean! Although we’ve never actually seen any, we often come across areas of sand marked with flags that are known to have turtle eggs buried beneath.
We love La Selva for its privacy and pristine, untouched beauty. You can back your SUV into one of the many openings along the jungle trail and walk a few steps into what seems like another world. We usually pack a lunch and cooler of beer and spend the entire day there, drinking in the salt and sand.
