Great playground, field space, pool, walking path and bike track. The bike track is great for most any age. It is at the northwest end of the park.

Frontage Roads
Most freeways and toll roads have frontage roads that run along them. This is a great way to avoid toll fees but use the same route along the 183A and 45 Toll. Just keep in mind frontage roads will take longer than the actual toll road.
Depending on frequency of travel and amount of time saved, a toll pass may be worth considering. Check out Txtag.org for more info.
Usanze e culture
Expect Tex-Mex not West Coast Mexican food
We have yet to find a Mexican restaurant or taco shop with West Coast-style Mexican food in Central Texas. Tex-Mex dominates the Mexican food scene here...that means beef tacos are ground beef, not shredded beef.
