Mount Lemmon is a great escape for us in the summer when the temperatures get too hot. With a summit elevation of 9,159 feet, is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains.
Great for hiking, climbing, picnicking, or even just driving up and stopping out at the pullouts to take in the views, Lemmon is great to explore.

Tumamoc Hill is a great local hike up a steep paved road that overlooks the city. Since it is paved it is also fun to come here at night to see the city lights or pick a day when there is a full moon.
It is really close to the house, is a good workout, and will not eat up an entire day.
