Mount Ashland is over 7000 feet in elevation and is a great skiing resort for people who like winter activities. It is not far from the city of Ashland where they can get food to go. They have markets and delis for food and supplies. It is about 90 minutes from Cow Creek Cottage off of I 5.

This is a very small town and it has a superstore market that is very clean open at 8am and closes at 8 pm 7 days a week. It is a great place to shop for last minute items . It is only 2 miles form Cow Creek Cottage.
