Buttermere is one of our favourite places to walk around. It'll take around 2 hours at a leisurely pace and afterwards, you can stop for a pint at The Fish or an ice cream at the cafes.
The route is sturdy so can be accessed in all seasons. It's also a start to some great fell walks.
