Trails are groomed regularly based on snow conditions. Cross Country Ski Rentals are available in the Discovery Rental Shop for $15 per day."

For fishing we recommend these spots: The East Fork. Access to the East Fork is at the first bridge on Moose Lake Road. In Montana you can gain legal access to any stream at any public road bridge crossing because there is a 10 ft easement owned by the state (the people) on each side of the bridge/road.
Copper Creek is a great little stream farther up Moose Lake Road, try any bridge or public access point on any map, or ask the fly shop.
Stony creek is a great little creek as well (our guests have been having a lot of success here lately), but very brushy with mostly small pocket water, but some surprisingly big fish. There is only one private landowner up Stony Creek Road and he owns about 400 acres and doesn’t much care about fly fishermen. Pretty much that whole valley is public land.
Lastly of course, you may fish the Middle Fork of Rock Creek right in the back yard only 30 yards from the house!

The lake is surrounded by the Flint Creek Range to the north and the Pintlers to the south. At Georgetown Lake Kokanee salmon is the most sought after species, followed by rainbow trout. The Lake has four public boat ramps. In winter, Georgetown Lake is used for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Access to lodging, restaurants, casinos and a marina. Camping is also available around the Lake at a number of National Forest campgrounds."

In the silver panic of 1893, word came to shut the mine down. The mine was deserted for three years, never again would it reach the population it once had of 3,000 miners.
Today there is no one living in the camp. The shell of the Miners' Union Hall still stands. The roof supports have caved to the bottom floor, the third-floor dance hall, second-floor union offices, and ground-floor saloon/cafe are about to collapse together. The company hospital still stands."
