My husband dreams of the cheese dip. This place is quaint and the woman who runs it is super kind and loves children. The margaritas are generous. And the food is deliciouso!

Although Bear is known for it's parks and jumps, we think Snow Summit has the best views of the lake, and the friendliest staff. Protip: Try the bar at the top of the East Mountain Express Lift for amazing views and strong drinks.

Bear Mountain is known for it's park design! It also has Southern California’s only halfpipes and largest learning area. There is a inter-resort shuttle that goes from Snow Summit to Bear Mountain every 30 minutes. It's often easier to find parking at Bear Mountain resort!

Fun place to hang out on the "beach" and listen to music. Sometimes they have food vendors. They rent out kayaks and boats and let you bring your dogs on board! They have a fun activity boat with a slide. only complaint is they don't answer the phone.

Best photo star place to kayak. The bay is super mellow, easy to navigate. It's great for birdwatching, but the boulders make this place other worldy.

Another place to rent lake fun, but what's really cool, in a kitschy way was the pirate boat! My friends and I did this and loved it, though I wouldn't recommend using the bathroom on board. It could also be good for young kids, or those young at heart.
