(Under Construction Feb 01 2020) Here are some bar recomendations by neighborhood. - Historical Center (Hysterical Center) - Cuba street between Chile and Eje Central cross streets has turned into the center's gay bar row with many venues. Please use extra caution when visiting these rough area. - Zona Rosa (Pink Zone) - Since the 1970s this area has become the prefered one for gay bars which are located mainly on Amberes street or Florencia avenue. - La Condesa (The Countess) - Many gay venues have come and gone through recent decades with only one main staple remaining: the 25 year-old world-famous Tom's Leather Bar. - Roma - Foro Roma holds great special gay events on selected dates. - Polanco (The upscale district) - A few gay bars have come and gone in this area, but the top posh venue still remains: Guilt Club. - Surrounding Areas / Neza - Many gay dive bars are located in the municipalities surrounding Mexico City. Spartacus' Club in Neza municipality is the main attraction. Please visit with locals familiar with the area and use extra caution when coming to this rough neighborhood past the International Airport.
