Advices
Venice is a small, quite and safe village. It' s really enjoyble if you "get lost". I know, "getting lost" sounds strange but, trust in me, Venice is a world apart: you should visit it, like probably you have never done (wondering the maze without a path: "random").
Obviously, once you' ll be here, i' ll assist you and i' ll provide you every day advices, not very known.
In case, have a look online at:
- San Giorgio bell tower
- Cannaregio district
- Castello district
- Mazzorbo - Burano - Torcello (islands) NOT Murano: it' s a trap for tourists.
- "Scuola Grande di San Rocco" (museum) and Frari' s church
- San Trovaso squero
- “Acqua Alta” book store •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
About the restaurants.
Bad news: in Venice, there are many-many bad restaurants… anyway, no worries: you’ ll be able to enjoy good meal…
According to me, before having a look at restaurants on TripAdvisor, i would write you that… TripAdvisor doesn’ t work very well: some “good” restaurants according TripAdvisor… are really bad according the locals, so, try to "filter" the reviews (read only the italian ones).
