Believe it or not, there is an outstanding coffee shop just a short drive from the house. Check their FB page for updated hours (they tend to fluctuate), but do not miss a chance to stop by if they're open during your stay. Coffees, teas, pastries, soups and whatever else they have on offer are all delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Very friendly owners as well.

A great little bookshop started by an amazing woman in her living room. A very thorough collection of literature on the southwest as well as many other topics. Great for browsing as well.

Benson is a beautiful little hillside town that was once known for mining. The area has many stores, restaurants, and bars, as well as a cool mining museum. Very nice just for walking around as well.
