This Rennie Mackintosh house and grounds are beautiful and the food is the cafe is great value for money and would give any Michelin star restaurant a run for its money. Great atmosphere and one of our favourites for a lunchtime treat.

The worlds largest Arts Festival takes place every August in Edinburgh. Accommodation can be hugely expensive and the city becomes incredibly busy and congested. Many people now tend to stay in Glasgow for half the price and take the bus or train to Edinburgh when you want to visit (and you have to visit as it is amazing). The 900 bus Service leaves every 10 minutes from Glasgow City Centre during the fringe and costs as little as £8 return with children travelling free with their parents. Enjoy the best of two of Scotlands finest Cities!

The Village hotel has a great pool, sauna, steam room and large fully equipped gym. They do deals all the time so check Groupon. They have a spa and the ladies that work there are professional and offer great service. A day pass can start from £10 and is well worth it!
