Large suite of rooms on the top floor of our Georgian Grade II listed house in Kendal town centre quietly tucked away at the head of an historic cobbled yard. Double bedroom, huge adjoining living room (with basic kitchenette and double sofa bed) and modern bathroom all for the exclusive use of our guests. Free parking.
Although the suite is part of our house, it is private and self contained with its own access so you can come and go as you please. The suite can comfortably accommodate 4 people with 1 double bedroom, large private living room (28ft x 21ft - 8.5m x 6.5m) with basic kitchenette and double sofa bed and a modern private bathroom. Please note: there are no cooking or washing up facilities in the suite. Crockery and cutlery is provided for breakfast and/or takeaway food and we collect and do the washing up for you when requested! All rooms have double height ceilings with exposed beams, great views across Kendal's rooftops to the hills beyond and plenty of character. The living room has 2 large lounging sofas (one of which opens to a comfortable double bed) a 48" Smart HD TV and DVD player and kitchenette with fridge, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and Aeroccino milk frother, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The bedroom has a double bed, flat screen TV and digital radio. The bathroom has a large free-standing bath with hand held shower, twin sinks, underfloor heating and glass towel warmer. Towels, bed linen, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, universal travel adaptor and hot water bottles are provided. Wi-fi. You'll find a large selection of DVDs under the coffee table and an array of local interest books, leaflets and maps which you are welcome to use during your stay. Help-yourself-breakfast is provided for each day of your stay at no extra cost (homemade bread, butter and preserves, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, local yoghurts, fruit juices, black and herbal teas and a selection of Nespresso coffees). There are ice cubes in the freezer compartment of the fridge. Please take a look at our guidebook for details of local restaurants and eateries we recommend. We own a miniature Dachshund (very small). Her name is Miss Saveloy Sausage or Savvy for short. She is very quiet, friendly and adores children but is never allowed in the suite (she can't get up the stairs - they are too big)!
There is a superb supermarket 2 minutes walk away that stocks a wide variety of local and specialist produce and has an excellent cheese counter, deli section and off licence. Kendal's bustling high street is one minute's walk away where you'll find plenty of shops, a library, the post office and several banks. There's a Costa on the main high street and Caffe Nero is in the marketplace. It's worth exploring Kendal's historic yards where you'll find many of our more individual retailers and businesses. The market town of Kendal lies just outside the spectacular Lake District National Park, has plenty of pubs, cafés, takeaways and restaurants, 2 museums, a leisure centre with swimming pool, golf course, the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and the Brewery Arts Centre with a theatre, cinemas, art galleries, bars and a regular live music programme (visit the breweryarts website). There are plenty of places to explore with lovely parks (Kendal Castle, Serpentine Woods and Noble's Rest) and pleasant walks along the river Kent right on our doorstep. There is a street market every Wednesday and Saturday and a farmer's market once a month. EATERIES AND CAFÉS WE RECOMMEND: CASTLE DAIRY Visit castledairy.co.uk to book. NB: Currently closed due to the floods in December 2015. Keep checking their website as they do plan to reopen in March 2017. Five minutes' walk from our place on Wildman Street.   • Ottima sistemazione, molto pulita con tocchi favolosi come pane fatto in casa, frutta fresca e fiori e un ambiente generalmente delizioso in cui rilassarsi. Siamo stati fuori tutto il giorno ogni giorno e poi siamo tornati a rilassarci con cibo e bevande la sera. Il bagno è molto moderno e la tv è elegante e Netflix. Molti tocchi eccentrici nella casa dei colori, l'ho adorato. Caryn è un padrone di casa molto gentile e niente sembrava essere troppo disturbo. Speriamo di tornare un giorno.

Ospite favoloso che fa il possibile per far sentire gli ospiti i benvenuti. Estremamente familiare e accogliente, Caryn è stato brillante con tutte le domande che abbiamo avuto e ha risposto immediatamente. Lo spazio attuale è spazioso, confortevole e dotato di ogni comfort che si possa desiderare in un fantastico design elegante ed eclettico. Non posso raccomandare abbastanza è stato semplicemente favoloso. Caryn ci ha lasciato alcuni deliziosi oggetti in frigo per colazione, non abbiamo dovuto uscire per niente !! Pane fresco e le nostre esigenze dietetiche sono totalmente soddisfatti. Siamo stati per un matrimonio ed è stata la base perfetta. Grazie ancora -Gill e Andy

    Graystock Lodge is a beautiful log cabin, offering modern and stylish facilities in a comfortable and relaxing countryside environment. **The hot tub is for your sole use**. We are a 15-20 min's drive to Blackpool, Lancaster and Preston with J33 M6 15 min's away. We are close to the coast and river Wyre, the location is perfect for walkers, being tucked away on the Lancashire coastal way footpath.
    Our lodge is a quiet haven for guests who want to get away from the noise and stresses of everyday life, it is situated just behind the main house which is down a country lane, with uninterrupted views of the countryside. The only noise you will hear is the sound of birds and animals. The Lodge is equipped with a wood burning stove, warms quickly in the winter and is very cosy, also a large TV and sound system. It also has a king size luxury sofa bed and toilet and a Small functional kitchen. The double room is situated in a private area of the house where there is also a bathroom with a walk in shower and utility room. All of which is exclusively yours for the length of your stay.     We are 5 min's from the A6, in a quiet rural village. The historic city of Lancaster is a 10 min's drive away. Blackpool a 20 min's drive. Blackpool Illuminations are on 31st August - 4th November 2018, the lodge is a wonderful place to unwind and relax after a busy day visiting Blackpool. The village of Cockerham boasts a school, church, Micro Brewery and local pub which offers excellent food at reasonable prices as well as a warm welcome from the landlord.

    My stone terrace cottage is located in one of Kendal's conservation areas and 5 minutes walk to the station, town centre and the river Kent. The cottage is a cosy, quiet, relaxing space with an enclosed wildlife garden at the back of the house.
    The house was built in 1820 as an old weavers house apparently. I renovated it 8 years ago with an open plan kitchen and lounge with wood burning stove. The kitchen has an fan oven and gas hob, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave, and everything you need to cook meals or enjoy a take-out. There is a small kitchen table and chairs that you can get out and use in the house or for breakfast in the garden. The log burner is a treat in winter with a free supply of wood. There is Wifi and a selection of books and maps, allowing you to make the most of your stay. The bedroom is a good size with a comfortable double bed, wardrobe (with full length mirror inside), chest of draws and chair. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination. The enclosed garden out the back gets the sun in the morning till early evening in the summer so you can sit have breakfast or dinner and watch the bees buzzing around wildflowers, pick herbs for cooking or alpine strawberries for breakfast if there are any left :) There's bike (or general kit) storage out the back or in the cellar should you need it. Also bike cleaning facilities. You will have a parking permit for the local area so can park for free either outside the house or nearby. It does get full late afternoon when residents come back from work so you might have to park in one of the adjacent streets. its fine to load outside the door though. Everyone does it.
    Kendal is an old market town situated in what i think is one of the most beautiful parts of the country – the Lake District. Its also within 30 minutes drive of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, making it a perfect base for outdoor sport addicts, walkers and sightseers....

    South Lakeland Leisure Village is a wonderful 5 star rated holiday park on the edge of the Beautiful Lake District. This 4 bedroom lodge is wonderfully situated for couples and for family holidays. The lodge is situated on the side of the lake with a decking area, with a fantastic sunken hot tub. The hot tub belongs exclusively to the lodge and is not shared. There is Wi-Fi, of around 3-5Mb included free of charge. The site has a Gym and a family friendly pool, for an additional charge.
    There are 4 bedrooms. 1 is a 5' queen bed, 1 is a 4'6" double and there are 2 rooms, both with 2 single beds in them. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room with a toilet, shower and sink.
    The lodge is only 30 minutes from Lake Windermere and the whole of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within driving distance.

    Homewood lodge offers five quiet, relaxing bedrooms which have been renovated to the highest standard, all individually designed with wonderful views over the beautiful Lancashire countryside. Homewood is ideally situated approximately 3 miles from the M6 junction 33. It is the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Areas within a short driving distance from Homewood include villages of Morecambe Bay, the Lakes, Lancaster, the Forest of Bowland, Garstang and Blackpool.
    The property is extremely spacious and has been newly refurbished, it is set in the beautiful village of Forton and is surrounded by fields. Homewood Lodge also has a large garden to be enjoyed with a patio and a hot tub. Upon arrival you will receive a complimentary breakfast basket, which will include eggs, milk, butter, bread and a cheeky bottle of fizz. We allow dogs but a maximum of 3. We ask our guests to move in to the property by 11pm so that our neighbours aren't inconvenienced.
    We are situated in a prime area where access to the lakes, Lancaster University, Lancaster, trough of Bowland, Blackpool, Preston, and Manchester are all within easy access.

    Superb detached cottage with gardens front & rear. Great views to the Howgill Fells. Open plan living area, with a separate dining room & games room next door. There are 3 double bedrooms upstairs & a large bathroom with a roll top bath & separate walk in shower. The games room on the ground floor has a small double sofa bed. There is a 2nd wc across the hallway.
    The cottage is next to a bridleway that leads to a huge network of paths including The Dales Way. Under 2 miles form Sedbergh with some excellent restaurants, independent shops & cafes.

  • Meraviglioso soggiorno a Weathercock House. Peter è stato sempre pronto a rispondere alle comunicazioni prima del nostro soggiorno. La vasca morbida è privata e un'aggiunta gradita. Ci sono istruzioni dettagliate per l'uso della vasca morbida e in generale in tutta la casa che tutti abbiamo trovato utili. I letti sono confortevoli e molto puliti. Senza problemi. Non ci siamo preoccupati di accendere il fuoco nel bagno al piano inferiore, quindi non l'ho usato perché il fuoco è l'unico mezzo di riscaldamento in quella stanza ed era davvero freddo. Altrove abbiamo acceso i riscaldatori e abbiamo sentito abbastanza caldo. E 'stato bello avere Netflix sulla tv se necessario. Lo consiglio vivamente.

    This ground floor apartment is in a lovely green part of town a stones throw from the castle and great walks. Close to cinema, restaurants, cafes and bars. It has everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday. Families welcome and a travel cot is available.
    Our three roomed ground/lower ground floor apartment is beautifully located in an end of terrace Victorian house at the foot of the Castle Hill in the market town of Kendal. It's in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by trees and greenery but only 5 minutes walk along the river bank from the town centre and its traditional pubs, bars and restaurants. You can walk up to the castle ruin, perfect for evening sunsets and enjoy panoramic views of the Lake District hills and the town. Or take a stroll along the river to the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and Museum of Lakeland Life. The apartment is furnished with a mix of antique and modern furniture. It has two double bedrooms and one sitting room with a double sofa bed. There is a TV/DVD player in the living room. The kitchen is fitted with everything you need to enjoy a home from home stay such as oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a bathroom which has a bath with shower over. Kendal is known as the gateway to the Lake District but has lots to offer too, from micro breweries to theatre. The Brewery Arts Centre has a music venue, theatre and cinema screens as well as bars and a restaurant - see what's on there by going to breweryarts website. The pubs in town offer an eclectic mix of local ales and live music to suit all tastes. A small town with a big heart, in November Kendal hosts its annual Mountain Festival. Each year it welcomes thousands of outdoor enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate mountain culture and adventure in film, lectures, art and literature. ‘Kendal' is the biggest event of its type in the world and it's the main social event for outdoor enthusiasts in the UK. With hundreds of film screenings including high-profile premières plus plenty of speakers and special guests making this Festival a must-do long weekend in the Lake District. For more info visit the mountainfest website. Throughout the Summer and in early September Lakes Alive put on numerous free events. These events are great family occasions involving drama and spectacle. You can find out about the programme of events from Lakesalive website. The International Festival of Comic Arts is an annual event in Kendal. Some of the best known Graphic Novel artists come from all over the world to give talks, workshops and demonstrations about their art form. There are exhibitions, book/comic signing, question and answer sessions as well as films during the weekend. See the internationalcomicartfestival website for details. There are also various food and beer festivals which you can find out about on the cumbriacamra website. You I had great times being a guest through airbnb before I began hosting and I want my guests to have a great time being here too. I like meeting people and finding out about their lives and travels. I live separately so guests can relax and enjoy the privacy of their own home from home. But I'm also only next door so I'm usually on hand to offer advice about places to go or if you need help or there is anything which needs sorting out. I also have friends who help me with cleaning and they are close by too if by any chance I'm out of town. Kendal is a market town on the edge of the Lake District. There's plenty to do and an active art, music and beer scene with a number of microbreweries. Plus the all the that the Lakes has to offer is on the doorstep. The International Comic Arts Festival in October which again involves the whole town and celebrates all things graphic, cartoon and animé The Kendal Mountain Festival in November for those interested in the outdoors and climbing, film, photography and other cultures. Also look out for Lakes Alive annually at the beginning of September. Houghton House is about 5 mins walk from the centre of town and 10mins from Kendal train station. If you're driving there is roadside parking outside the house. Kendal is easily accessible from the M6 and has a mainline rail station Oxenholme Lake District with direct trains to London Euston 2.5 hours. There is a local rail link, 5 mins to Staveley (which has a nice pub the Eagle and Child) and about 15 mins to Windermere. There are also regular buses and boats to take you into the heart of the Lakes. Check out the Mountain Goat website and Stagecoach for timetables.

  • Il posto di Rachel è stato perfetto per il nostro weekend con il nostro bambino. È stupendo, spazioso e pieno di carattere. Rachel e Merv hanno risposto rapidamente ai miei messaggi, il che ha reso facile la prenotazione. Consiglierei di stare qui se stai pensando di prenotare una pausa a Kendal.   • Grazioso appartamento in ottima posizione per il centro di Kendal. Siamo riusciti a trovare un parcheggio proprio fuori dall'hotel. Solo un paio di minuti a piedi dal castello di Kendal e proprio accanto al vecchio canale Lancaster / Kendal, che ora è un ciclo / sentiero. Il centro di Kendal dista meno di 10 minuti a piedi. Posto pulito e confortevole che era perfetto.

  • L'appartamento di Rachel è semplicemente perfetto: eccezionalmente ben posizionato, appena fuori dal centro città, ma a 5 minuti dalla città e 1 dal castello e dai suoi fantastici panorami; c'è anche un sacco di parcheggio in strada. L'appartamento è spazioso, ha tutto il necessario, incluso un piccolo cortile per rilassarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa a esplorare o fare colazione se il tempo lo permette. Come benvenuto, abbiamo avuto pane, tè, latte e burro ad aspettarci in cucina con una cartella piena di suggerimenti utili per il nostro soggiorno: passeggiate, pub e ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Merv era lì per il nostro check-in e ci ha dato consigli utili in città. È stato anche molto gentile da verificare durante il nostro soggiorno per assicurarsi che avessimo tutto il necessario. Consigliamo vivamente questo gioiello di un appartamento come base ideale per visitare i laghi. Rachel e Merv si prenderanno cura di te e ti faranno sentire come a casa. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

  • Un po 'di pace e tranquillità in un appartamento perfettamente posizionato a soli 5 minuti a piedi dal centro. Marve ci ha incontrato quando abbiamo fatto il check-in ed è stato delizioso, conosceva bene la zona e aveva suggerimenti utili su dove andare e vedere. Arrivando piuttosto tardi il venerdì sera ci guidò in un bel pub che serviva da mangiare fino a tardi. Ci torneremmo sicuramente.

Easy access to Lakes & Dales but don't overlook the beauty on the doorstep - Arnside Village, Morecambe Bay, RSPB Leighton Moss, Silverdale & Arnside AONB, Kent Estuary.
    Poppies cottage sleeps 4 and comprises an open plan living and dining room with a feature stone fireplace and multi fuel stove. Please note there is no parking directly outside the cottage, but free on street parking is usually available within approx 50yds. The bright well equipped kitchen has a 5 ring gas hob, electric oven and microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer. There is underfloor heating and a handy drying area for boots and waterproofs. Upstairs are; -> 1 sunny twin bedroom with original Victorian fireplace (not functional) -> 1 double bedroom (std double bed). The estuary can just about be seen from the front bedroom. -> the bathroom has a rolltop bath and separate shower cubicle. At the back of the property is a sunny and private patio which can be accessed from the kitchen or dining room.
    Poppies cottage is one of a terrace of 7 Victorian cottages on a private lane at the top of the village. The village has a selection of shops, 2 pubs, an award winning chippy and a post office. Main supermarkets are within 5 miles and bigger shops in Kendal or Lancaster (10 miles). There is no parking immediately outside the cottage, but you can pull up to unload and then park further down the lane.

    The 'Barn' is fully modernised with every comfort for a pleasant stay with full central heating if cold. Situated one road back from the Esplanade and is only a few minutes walk from the Promenade. Its an easy walk up to Hampsfell with its glorious views over Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. Cartmel Village and race course are a 5 minute drive and Windermere lake is a 10 minute drive. All the south and western Lake district is on the doorstep. Grange is a small town with all amenities.
    The 'Barn' is fully self contained and separate from the main house. Downstairs is a cosy lounge/dining area with TV, radio and a basic kitchen (microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge plus a simple cooking hob and sink). French doors lead onto the patio. A bathroom with shower is also on this floor. Upstairs is a large pleasant room with a double bed and two armchairs. Internet is provided. The whole building has been converted to a high standard with full central heating and double glazing.
    Grange is a late Victorian/Edwardian town full of lovely buildings and character. All amenities are catered for with a small Supermarket, Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes and Takeaways. Nearby Cartmel has award winning Pubs and Restaurants.

    Situated in a tastefully decorated family home in the beautiful village of Silverdale near Carnforth. We have a lovely comfortable room with a new double bed, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Off street parking available. RSPB Leighton Moss and Silversale train station only 2km away. A local bus service is available in Silverdale. There are some excellent eating places within a very close proximity to our home, including a well stocked Co-Op!
    We have a delightful double bedroom in a two bedroomed bungalow in the beautiful village of Silversale. We try to give guests the benefit of good accommodation at a reasonable price. You'd have your own private double bedroom (new bed), shared bathroom, and a shared kitchen. You will have your own mini fridge with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Guests are very welcome to join us in our living room for coffee and a chat or to watch TV. Our home has a good wifi connection. There are a few bars and hotels in the village where you can go for some great meals. We have a small Co-op supermarket less than one km away where you will also find a cash machine (ATM). There is also a butcher, chemist, and a post office in the village. A number of larger supermarkets can be found in Carnforth. Your bedroom is to rear of the property which is very quiet and tranquil. My husband and I are very quiet and friendly, you would be sharing our home with us. There is currently no TV in the bedroom, guests are very welcome to use the TV in the lounge. Please note, I do not have extra bedrooms so I regret I cannot accept enquiries for more than two guests.
    World famous RSPB Leighton Moss Bird Sanctuary is only 2km away. Beautiful Lake Windermere is only 40 minutes drive away and the rest of the lakes within easy reach. Silverdale is in a beautiful AONB and has many lovely walks either through enchanted woodlands or coastal walks that are unsurpassed for views of beautiful scenery. There are many interesting quaint towns and villages close by which can be easily accessed via a short drive or train ride away.

    Built in the Garden of a 3 bed semi this POD was built with love for my daughter who is now left to get married. A quite cull de sac between the A6 and Lancaster Canal. A short walk to breath-taking Morecambe Bay. Great access to Lake district about 45 minutes to Windermere. A foot path leads out of the back garden onto the canal. If you have a toddler the garden is Grandchild friendly and welcome to use it.

    This ground floor apartment is one of three in a beautiful old building, set in tranquil surroundings just a 15 minute walk to the train station and town centre. I am very friendly and happy to socialise, but also have own space to work etc. Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided but guests are responsible for their own food and to tidy up after themselves. I am very positive, easy going and relaxed.
    A lovely period garden flat within easy walking distance to the train station, Lancaster Castle and the city centre with its restaurants, shops, theatres and cinema.

    The room is warm, comfortable and cosy, yet decidedly cool. There's loads of space for your stuff with a window that opens and the bed positioned to enjoy the open view. The bathroom is adjacent so no tiptoeing around when you're desperate for a pee!
    This is a charming little home in a quiet cul de sac with great access to nearby tourist hot spots. The Edwardian seaside town of Grange is 5 minutes walk with its prom and quality specialist shops. Grange boasts the famous Higginsons Butchers, the Hazlemere Cafe and Bakery plus a lovely duck pond and park. Cartmel and its famous races (as well as sticky toffee pud!) is 5 minutes down the road, and there are golf courses locally plus access to the beautiful Lake District.
    Grange over Sands is spectacularly placed for access to a variety of Cumbrian leisure and pleasure facilities.

    Clean, comfortable, small room in a house shared with me and my two friendly cats. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with private parking and is only a 10-min walk from the city centre and the bus station. The train station is a 15-min walk. There is a private garden which backs onto the canal, this provides a beautiful setting particularly when walking to the bus stop in the morning! There are good transport links to the University too and it is only a 10-minute walk to both theatres.
    As the house is only a 10-minute walk from the city centre, there are plentiful shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is Lidl (5-minute walk) and Sainsbury's is under 10 minutes away (walk). The house backs onto the canal so provides lovely walking and running opportunities!

    This is a cosy private room in a terraced house 5 minutes walk away from central Kendal. You will be easy reach of cafes, the castle, the beautiful river & the brewery arts centre. The space is shared with my partner Michelle & the dog, you have access to all the communal spaces & are welcome to cook. Think hostel simplicity! We are a lived in house so spaces will not be sparkling clean but hygienic 😊 Your bedding & towels always laundered but never ironed 😊 on street parking available.
    Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and laundry facilities. A free continental breakfast of cereal and toast is included not to mention as much tea, coffee, chai, herbal tea etc as you like. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen to cook, we have oil, spices etc that you are more than welcome to use. There is no dishwasher unfortunately so the only downside is the washing up :) If you want to get here early or make the best of your last day you can leave your luggage in our front room, as long as the room is vacated by 11 we're not fussy.

You’ll love my place because of the beautiful setting, the cosy cottage, canal walks and beautiful sunsets over the bay. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). Please note this is a double room, but have single mattress for third guest if requested!     Come and stay where country pubs and outdoor adventures are on your doorstep! Fernleigh is a great place for families and friends to enjoy and explore the beauty of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
    Fernleigh is in the town of Grange-Over-Sands, somewhere which has been a place to escape to throughout its history. Grange has plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable. There are three small grocery stores within 5 minutes of the cottage as well as 2 local pubs, an award winning butchers (great pork pies!) and plenty of independent shops to browse in. Grange is perfectly positioned for easy access to the many attractions the North West has to offer. If you head north, you'll find Lake Windermere only a ten minute drive away with Bowness-on-Windermere another 15 minutes up the road. The Grizedale Forest Visitors Centre is only 45 minutes away, where activities range from gentle walks with coffee and cake pit stops, to high wire Go-Ape action and exhilarating mountain bike trails! Head east, and within 40 minutes you could also find yourself exploring the Yorkshire Dales by walking the stunning Ingleton Waterfalls trail. You can also easily reach Arnside and Silverdale, and the Forest of Bowland, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. However, if you'd prefer to stay a little closer to home there is plenty to do without leaving Grange itself. Why not enjoy a gentle stroll along the Promenade whilst taking in the views across Morecambe Bay or entertain the kids at the Recreation Area with some crazy golf or tennis. Park Road Gardens is the perfect place to read a book and feed the ducks. Then, on your way home, why not pick some apples from the community orchard to make a crumble for later!
    Fernleigh is a great base to explore from and is really versatile. If you’re a foodie then you have Cartmel less than 5 minutes away, which is home to L’Enclume and Rogan & Co, boasting 3 Michelin stars between them. For outdoorsy types, you’ve got easy access to the peaks,fells and lakes of the southern Lake District, with all that has to offer. The nearby market towns of Kendal and Ulverston are both worth a visit and are both home to Booths supermarkets if you need to stock up.

    Located opposite the train station and 2mins from the city centre. This is A cosy attic room located on the second floor. It measures 9ft x 9ft including an ensuite shower and toilet. There's is a sloping ceiling with a small velux window with a black- out blind. This ensuite room contains a single bed, TV, kettle and small wardrobe.

    We are located opposite the main train station on a well lit two way road.

La stanza 8 aveva una scrivania utile se si desidera fare qualsiasi lavoro. Sebbene si sentano i treni con le finestre aperte, non erano il problema che potevano essere, dato che la maggior parte stava iniziando / fermandosi in modo non rumoroso.

    Our family home is a former seaside hotel 200 metres from promenade. It old but loved and maintained. We are fully compliant with HMO/FIRE Safety requirements and live on the premises. There are many amenities within 10 minutes walk, including shops, takeaways, bars, pharmacy, bus and train station and cinema. 10 mins drive to M6 motorway and Heysham Ferry Port/Power Station.
    Morecambe is a seaside town in Lancashire, on England’s northwest coast. Previously made of three fishing villages Bare, Poulton and Torrisholme until the 19th Century when they joined together to form Morecambe. By around 1850 Morecambe had a railway built, connecting west yorkshire to the growing town. People would come from Skipton, Keighley and Bradford to enjoy the budding seaside resort and by the mid 20th century Morecambe was thriving. It became home to the Miss Great Britain beauty contest in 1956 for 33 years and became a popular spot for holidaymakers across the UK. The Bay is a large estuary just to the south of the Lake District National Park. It is the largest expanse of intertidal mudflats and sand in the United Kingdom. The view from Morecambe is magnificent, offering a glimpse of the lakes, barrow, walney island. The Bay is a great place for outdoor activities including sailing, windsurfing, mountain biking, horseriding, and kitesurfing. With so much for children and adults to discover, Morecambe Bay is a perfect place to relax, explore and enjoy.

Se hai bisogno di rimanere a Morcambe, resta qui! Sei a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, negozi e luoghi locali per ottenere da mangiare. Tutto era perfetto!

    Rock Cottage is a bijou detached two bedroom character cottage nestled in beautiful woodland, on the edge of the peaceful Kent Estuary village of Storth. Found in the Arnside Silverdale Area of Outstanding Beauty in South Lakeland. Immerse yourself in the beautiful woodlands or within a mile you can stroll to the coast. For excellent walking from the doorstep, cosy evenings in front of the fire, and within a stagger of a great pub. Lake District attractions are only 30 minutes away.
    Guests can enjoy the privacy and relaxation that comes with staying in our little chocolate box country cottage. The perfect romantic retreat or a base for exploring the beautiful outdoors, Rock Cottage is full of character, and we’re sure you’ll enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine in the private natural garden, or in front of the wood burning stove, at the end of your day. There are no street lights or traffic noise to keep you awake at night, but you will probably hear a few owl hoots! The king size bed has a super comfortable mattress, so if you plan to make an early start you may want to set an alarm. Rock Cottage is situated in the edge of woodland just outside the village of Storth. Both the beautiful coast and a great pub, The Ship Inn, are Less than half a mile away from the doorstep. The small village of Storth is situated on the tidal estuary of the River Kent and within the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Beauty on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The local area is a haven for wildlife, the National Trust stating “the mix of wildlife that you can see in Arnside and Silverdale is like no other place in the country”. The combination of different habitats; the coastal climate, woodland, limestone pavement and grassland attract many species of birds and butterflies that would not normally be seen in the same region. The area is known for its wildflowers too. There are many beautiful walks nearby suitable for those who just like a stroll to those who like to be out for hours. Beetham Fairy steps is a lovely walk from the cottage, remember to make your wish whilst there. Or follow the beautiful coastline to Arnside and savour a delicious treat from The Old Bakehouse. Arnside Knott with its stunning views across Morecombe bay with the lake district mountains behind has been attracting visitors for over 100 years. In this designated area of natural beauty there is always something to marvel at in nature. All this and within a 30 minute drive you can be exploring lake Windermere. Of course, with the quietness of the cottage, you may just decide to curl up with a great book. The choice is yours. Guest access Guests have the whole cottage to themselves. That includes the kitchen, open plan lounge dining area, two bedrooms, family bathroom, nature garden and parking. Other things to note The master bedroom is accessible via the bunk bedroom. We therefore recommend the cottage for couples and families with children who this arrangement suits. Please use the cottage like your home. Well behaved dogs accepted for a fee with the owner’s approval.
    Walks are available straight from the front door. Nesteled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty let yourself get back to nature with walks or biking straight from the cottage, or the Lakes. With Windemere just 25 minutes away it is a great place to explore the Lake district as well as Silverside and Arnside's AONB. Cumbria, England, United Kingdom Guests come to Rock Cottage to experience the beautiful outdoors. Forest and coastal walks in an Area of Outstanding Beauty with limestone pavements and rare wildlife from the doorstep, the pretty village of Arnside with possibly the best sunsets in the world just a walk or short drive away, and the main attractions of the Lake District within a thirty minute drive. You don’t need to leave the cottage to see the huge range of birdlife in the garden and surrounding woodland, and if you’re lucky you’ll spot deer browsing in the woods too. For even more wildlife, Leighton Moss RSPB wildlife reserve is very close by. There’s a great dog-friendly pub on the coast just a few minutes stroll from the cottage, and a great choice of other pubs and eateries within easy reach, most of which are also dog friendly. For practical purposes, a supermarket, petrol, and choice of take aways in the small town of Milnthorpe just ten minutes from the cottage.

    Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or 4min walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. There is parking available & a private outside decking area. Don’t want to walk ? We are a 30sec walk to the bus stop
    Our cabin is twin skinned and fully insulated which keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. Decking area is completely secluded and overlooks a small wooded area . Fully functioning kitchen with oven, hob, microwave,kettle and toaster. Private double bedroom with small double sofa bed in the lounge. Fully fitted bathroom with shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail.
    Lovely quiet area with friendly neighbours, the fabulous Romney’s pub with amazing food and great atmosphere only a 4 minute walk away. Great base to explore northern England's greatest scenery.

    This is a basic flat just off the sea front in the west end of Morecambe. you can see the sea from the window. it is suitable for a single person or couple wanting a quiet relaxing time. or someone who is working in Morecambe. it is on the 3rd floor so there are stairs. no lift . i will consider pets as long as they are not left on their own. just ask. gas is a card meter . first £10 is free.
    there is a flat below this one that is also let out on a regular basis. mostly to people who are working. so this is why it is not suitable for parties.and people must respect their privacy as they also will yours. so a fairly quiet house is expected. on saying that im sure you will have a nice time . and enjoy your stay.
    there is a hairdresser next door. and a nail and beauty shop a few doors away. also a offlicense/convenience store a few doors away. also a pizza place over the road. the promenade and childrens park are just over the road. and aldi and morrisons are a short car journey away.
