Dove soggiornare a Estes Park
One of Estes Park’s most popular vacation rentals, for good reason! This modern studio offers a private deck & great views in a quiet mountain neighborhood near Rocky Mountain National Park (Permit 3281). You will likely encounter herds of elk & deer, and are welcome to enjoy the starry night in the hot tub. A cozy, private space with its own entrance, a luxurious queen bed, sofa bed, & kitchenette. Conveniently located 1/4 mile from Marys Lake, and 4 miles from downtown & the national park
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This is a gorgeous, modern studio apartment in my home's walkout basement, with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. As you can see in the photos, there is a front living area and a rear bedroom area, but no door separating them. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past reviews have raved about this property: "... the best I've stayed at." "... a surreal environment with beautiful artwork and clean cut simplicity in design" "... a must stay if you are in the area." "... tons of wildlife right out the back door." "... pictures can’t truly describe the view from the deck." "... an incredible value for all it gives. Amazing location and view!" Note that some months of the year I live upstairs, and other months I am gone. When booking, assume I'll be here -- but also understand you'll have your own private studio, kitchenette, bathroom, deck and entrance as shown in the photos. You probably won't see me unless you need me, and I give guests privacy. I figure that's why you're here in the mountains in the first place! Rest is so important after a day hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park! Sleep soundly on a Serta queen mattress and a super comfortable 3-inch memory foam topper. The bed is the third most loved aspect of my unit, aside from the view and hot tub. The front living area has a futon sofa that can be converted to a full size bed, so the unit can accommodate 3 or 4 people. There is an extra per person fee for more than 2 people. There is little better in life than sitting in this cozy space (or on the deck!) after a great day in Rocky Mountain National Park, and watching deer and elk graze nearby. If you're lucky you'll spot the neighborhood bobcat, badger, or raccoon family. This rental is situated a fantastic rural neighborhood on the slopes of Prospect Mountain. The house has unobstructed views because of its elevation. Due to the topography, the house is very isolated and private -- you can't see neighbors and they can't see you. Recurring comments from guests include the great views, the privacy, the deck, the hot tub, the uncluttered and open space, and the fact that you can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed if you're so inclined. You'll be well equipped to do your own cooking while you visit: the kitchenette features a fridge and freezer, a two burner cooktop, toaster, stainless steel pots/pans, dishes and cutlery, water boiler, and more. Please see the photos for more details. There is no oven. The deck is perfect for lounging and enjoying the view and relaxing. It features two big chaise lounges. The deck's railing has a thick piece of wood on top, and guests often use that as a table top and sit on bar stools and watch the sunset and eat dinner. This unit does not feature a television, but there is speedy WiFi if you want to stream Netflix to your computer or tablet. If you want to fish, Marys Lake is 1/4 mile away. There's even a beach for sunbathing. If you like rock climbing, there are boulders from V0 to V10, trad routes from 5.5 to 5.12, and sport routes from 5.7 to 5.13 on Prospect Mountain, all of which are 15-20 minutes by foot from the front door. There's also a great hiking trail that goes to the top of Prospect Mountain (the trailhead is 5 minutes by foot from the house), and once there you'll have one of the best views of Estes Park around, with a full panorama of the Continental Divide and Estes Valley. The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is about 7 minutes via car. As you can see in the photos, you do need to walk down several flights of steps to get to the unit. Be prepared for this! Overall, this studio is a great base for outdoor lovers who want peace and quiet and want to experience all the wonders of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains.
This is a wonderful neighborhood in one of the more rural parts of Estes Park. We are only a few miles from downtown, but things are quiet here! The home is nestled in a huge ravine on the slope of Prospect Mountain, so you can't see the neighbors homes. It feels pretty secluded. You can actually hike out the front door and in about 45 minutes be at the top of Prospect Mountain, which has one of the most incredible views in all of Estes Park! You can see the entire national park and the continental divide in a giant panorama. The home is also about a quarter of a mile from Marys Lake, where you can fish. I love this area and am grateful to live here. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR. Local bears have been known to get a little curious.

Ascoltare l'Elk Bugle formicolava. I letti erano comodi, la casa era immacolata, le risposte necessarie erano subito. C'erano 6 adulti e spazio libero!

  • Posto eccellente dove stare.

Grazie Leam!

Come stay in this newly remodeled 3-bedroom riverside cabin 2 blocks from the edge of downtown (STR #6089). Features a hot tub, gazebo and picnic area, and you can literally walk 40 feet from your bedroom to fish. Relax in the hot tub after a long day in the mountains & then enjoy the fireplace in the kitchen/dining area. Relax in a comfy reading chair chair, leather sofa, or giant bean bag. Perfect for couples or groups up to 6. New paint, carpet & 55" TV!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. This beautiful, cozy cabin is located in the most perfect spot in Estes Park, literally on the edge of the Big Thompson River about a block and a half from the edge of downtown. The cabin features a huge, open living/dining area with lots of sunlight, a private hot tub, a gazebo with a BBQ for outdoor living, and a river with some fishing. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! Past guests have raved about this property: "We loved the hot tub, the stars, and sitting by the river after dark." "Nathan's beautiful cabin along the river was just amazing and we seemed so 'at home' there." "More spacious than it looks in pictures!" "It truly was a home away from home." "The hot tub is world class." "We loved sitting down by the river and grilling dinner each night!" When you're here, you can leave the car behind, avoid the traffic of downtown, and just walk a block and a half to the edge of downtown, where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. At the same time, it's on a private side road with no traffic, allowing you to have all the benefit of being centrally located without having to deal with the congestion. Additionally, the National Park entrance is a quick 5 minute drive from the front door. This unit is meant for people seeking peace and tranquility; it is absolutely not a party house at all. Water Dance (the cabin’s name) is tastefully decorated with mountain and cabin-themed decor, complete with beautiful handmade Amish furniture. BEDROOMS This home has 3 separate bedrooms with 4 beds in total. Bedroom 1 - The master suite features a gorgeous, hand-made log bed with an Olympic queen mattress and private bathroom. Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom with a slider door opening out toward the river. I love sleeping here on warm summer nights to hear the sounds of the river through the screen door. Bedroom 3 - Perfect for kids, featuring two twin beds. ★★★★★ PLEASE NOTE: The master bath has a tub but no shower ★★★★★ The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, cutlery, silverware, baking supplies, and all the gadgets and utensils you can imagine. There's a great breakfast bar and a kitchen table. The open living space also features a huge couch you can sink into, as well as additional seating, all centered around a cozy gas fireplace. There's fast WiFi as well as a 55-inch 4K flat panel television in the living room with Sling, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and a host of other streaming television services. You can watch sports, news and movies to your heart's content. The outside area is shaded thanks to tons of mature trees. You will likely see deer or elk grazing on the grass. When summer arrives, all the plant foliage will grow thick, and you'll hear the leaves rustling all day in harmony with the breeze. Many of the town's top restaurants and attractions are all within a short walk: the Estes Park Brewery and Rock Cut Brewery, the China Garden restaurant, The Barrel bar, Sweet Basilico Restaurant (tasty Italian food with great pizza), and much more. In the same 2 block radius is a liquor store, a winery, a couple of food trucks (parked at Rock Cut -- sometimes you'll find fried chicken and other times you'll find a crepe truck). Be sure to walk to the gondola during the summers; it goes up Prospect Mountain and offers breathtaking views of the continental divide, the national park, and the entire Estes Park valley. The kids can walk a block to Fun City and enjoy the bumper boats and bumper cars, mini golf, a giant slide, a bungee trampoline, and go-cart racing. A half block away is the super fun aerial obstacle course of the Open Air Adventure Park. Some of these attractions are closed seasonally, so please check them out on the Internet. The free summer shuttle bus that goes all over town has a stop a half a block away, so you can board it and get around for free. The place is extremely family friendly, though it is on the edge of a river so be sure to supervise your kids, particular during the early summer when the snow starts to melt and the water level rises.
If you don't want to bother cooking, simply walk a half block to the best pizza/Italian (Sweet Basilico), brewery (Rock Cut), and chinese food (The China Garden) in the city. In the summers, the Two Chicks chicken food truck is often parked outside Rock Cut on the edge of the creek.

About Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park Estes Park is a town in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. A popular summer resort and the location of the headquarters for Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park lies along the Big Thompson River. Estes Park had a population of 5,858 at the 2010 census. History The town is named after Missouri native Joel Estes, who founded the community in 1859. The town's outskirts include The Stanley Hotel. An example of Edwardian opulence, the 1909 building had Stephen King as a guest, inspiring him to change the locale for his novel The Shining from an amusement park to the Stanley's fictional stand-in, the Overlook Hotel. Estes Park was also the site of the organization of the Credit Union National Association, an important milestone in the history of American credit unions. Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous highway in the United States, runs from Estes Park westward through Rocky Mountain National Park, reaching Grand Lake over the continental divide. Geography Estes Park sits at an elevation of 7,522 feet on the front range of the Rocky Mountains at the eastern entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Its north, south and east extremities border the Roosevelt National Forest. Lumpy Ridge lies immediately north of Estes Park. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.9 square miles (15 km2), of which 5.8 square miles (15 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)%) is water. Three million tourists visit Rocky Mountain National Park each year; most use Estes Park as their base. Transportation The main airport serving Estes Park is Denver International Airport, located 75 miles southeast. Highways US 34 is an east-west highway that runs from Granby, Colorado to Berwyn, Illinois. In Colorado, it connects Estes Park to Loveland, Interstate 25, Greeley and Interstate 76 US 36 begins at the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, running to Uhrichsville, Ohio, passing through Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. State Highway 7 begins at the junction of US 36 and N St. Vrain Avenue in Estes Park and runs to Boulder, Lafayette and Brighton. Its northwestern segment is part of the Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway. About Rocky Mountain National Park Rocky Mountain National Park is located in the north-central region of the U.S. state of Colorado. It features majestic mountain views, a variety of wildlife, varied climates and environments—from wooded forests to mountain tundra—and easy access to back-country trails and campsites. The park is located northwest of Boulder, Colorado, in the Rockies, and includes the Continental Divide and the headwaters of the Colorado River. The park has five visitor centers. The park headquarters, Beaver Meadows Visitor Center (An easy 12 minute walk from Alpenhaven), is a National Historic Landmark, designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin West. The park may be accessed by three roads: U.S. Highway 34, 36, and State Highway 7. Highway 7 enters the park for less than a mile, where it provides access to the Lily Lake Visitor Center which is closed indefinitely. Farther south, spurs from route 7 lead to campgrounds and trail heads around Longs Peak and Wild Basin. Highway 36 enters the park on the east side, where it terminates after a few miles at Highway 34. Highway 34, known as Trail Ridge Road through the park, runs from the town of Estes Park on the east to Grand Lake on the southwest. The road reaches an elevation of 12,183 feet (3,713 m), and is closed by snow in winter. The California Zephyr serves Granby (near the west entrance of the park) by rail from Denver, crossing the Continental Divide through the Moffat Tunnel well south of the park. The park's website suggests Granby as an appropriate rail terminus for visitors, although it lies a good sixteen miles from the park without public transportation connections. The park is surrounded by Roosevelt National Forest on the north and east, Routt National Forest on the northwest, and Arapaho National Forest on the southwest. Geography Rocky Mountain National Park encompasses 265,761 acres (415.25 sq mi; (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) of land in Colorado's northern Front Range. The park is split by the Continental Divide, which gives the eastern and western portions of the park a different character. The east side of the park tends to be drier, with heavily glaciated peaks and cirques. The west side of the park is wetter and more lush, with deep forests dominating. The park contains 359 miles (578 km) of trails, 150 lakes, and 450 miles (720 km) of streams. The park contains over 60 named peaks higher than 12,000 feet (3,700 m), and over one fourth of the park resides above tree line. The highest point of the park is Longs Peak, which rises to 14,259 feet (4,346 m; surveys before 2002 show 14,255 feet (4,345 m) above sea level. Longs Peak is the only fourteen thousand foot peak in the park. Several small glaciers and permanent snowfields are found in the high mountain cirques, including Andrews Glacier, Sprague Glacier, Tyndall Glacier, Taylor Glacier, Rowe Glacier, Mills Glacier, and Moomaw Glacier. Popular Areas The park is dominated by Longs Peak, which is visible from many vantage points, and has an elevation of 14,259 feet (4,346 m). Each year thousands of people attempt to scale it. The easiest route is the Keyhole Route, impassable to regular hikers in all but the hottest summer months due to snow and ice. This eight-mile (13 km) one-way climb has an elevation gain of 4,850 ft (1,480 m). The vast east face, including the area known as The Diamond, is home to many classic big wall rock climbing routes. Not All Leave Longs Peak Safe & Alive! There is a stone gazebo at the Keyhole formation with a plaque memorializing Agnes Vaille, a well-known climber in the 1920s. In January 1925, Vaille fell 100 ft (30 m) while descending the North Face. Vaille survived the fall with minor injuries, but was unable to walk. Her climbing partner, professional mountaineering guide Walter Kiener, went for help; but when rescuers arrived, Vaille had died of fatigue and hypothermia. Bear Lake, in the heart of the park, is a popular destination and trailhead. The lake lies below Hallett Peak and the Continental Divide. Several trails start from the lake, ranging from easy strolls to strenuous hikes. Bear Lake Road is open year round, though it may close temporarily due to bad weather. Trail Ridge Road connects the town of Estes Park in the east with Grand Lake in the west. The road reaches an altitude of 12,183 feet (3,713 m), with long stretches above tree line. Following Trail Ridge Road upward for 1,000 feet is akin to driving 600 miles north from the park in reference to changes in climate and vegetation. It passes the Alpine Visitors' Center, a popular destination, and crosses the Continental Divide at Milner Pass. Numerous short interpretive trails and pullouts along the road serve to educate the visitor on the history, geography, and ecology of the park. The southern area of the park is Wild Basin, a wild and remote region. Several trails cross the area and backpacking it is popular. The Mummy Range is a short mountain range in the north of the park. The Mummies tend to be gentler and more forested than the other peaks in the park, though some slopes are rugged and heavily glaciated, particularly around Ypsilon Mountain and Mummy Mountain. The snow-capped Never Summer Mountains are found in the west side of the park. Here the south-trending Continental Divide takes a brief sharp northward loop, which creates an interesting reverse scenario, where the Pacific Basin is on the east side of the divide and the Atlantic Basin on the west. The mountains themselves, the result of volcanic activity, are craggy and, more often than not, covered in deep snow. This area saw the most extensive mining in the park, and trails lead past old mines and ghost towns. Paradise Park is hidden in the peaks above Grand Lake. This rugged and wild area has no trails penetrating it. Rocky Mountain National Park History Evidence has shown that Native Americans have visited the area of the park for the last 10,000 years. Their influence in the region was limited, however, and their visits often transitory. The Ute Tribe visited the west side of the park, particularly around Grand Lake. The Arapaho visited and hunted in the Estes Park region. The Long Expedition, led by Stephen H. Long, for whom Longs Peak was named, visited the area in 1820, though they never entered the mountains. Joel Estes and his son stumbled across the meadows that eventually became Estes Park in 1859 while on a hunting expedition. He moved his family there in 1860 and raised cattle. He stayed only until 1866, forced out by long, harsh winters. In the next years, settlers and homesteaders staked their claims in the Estes Park region. Tourists, particularly those interested in climbing the high peaks of the region, appeared after this time. In 1880 a small mining rush began in the Never Summer Mountains. The mining town of Lulu City was established with great fanfare and promotion by the media, particularly by Fort Collins newspapers. The ore mined, however, was low grade; by 1883 the rush went bust, and most of the residents moved on. A satellite town, Dutchtown, was abandoned by 1884. Enos Mills, then a 14 year old boy, moved to Estes Park in 1884. He explored the mountains of the area and wrote many books and articles describing the region. He later supported the creation of Rocky Mountain National Park, and he split his time between the mountains he loved and the cities of the eastern United States, where he lobbied for the legislation to create the park. The legislation was drafted by James Grafton Rogers, a Denver lawyer and avid outdoorsman. Mills' original proposal for park boundaries went from Wyoming all the way down to the Mount Evans area, including areas such as the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Much of the land was favored for mining, logging, and other operations, however, so the proposed park was reduced to an area approximating the current park borders. The bill passed Congress and was signed by President Woodrow Wilson on January 26, 1915. A formal dedication ceremony was held on September 4, 1915 in Horseshoe Park. The park has expanded over the years, with the largest parcel — the Never Summer Range — added in 1929. The 1920s saw a boom in building lodges and roads in the park, culminating with the construction of Trail Ridge Road between 1929 and 1933. The Civilian Conservation Corps handled several building projects during the Great Depression and remnants of their camps can be found in the park today. Rocky Mountain National Park Activities On the Colorado River trail inside Rocky Mountain National Park Most visitors to the park drive over the famous Trail Ridge Road, but other scenic roads include Fall River Road and Bear Lake Road. Many visitors hike and backpack. The park contains a network of 349 miles (562 km) of trail and dozens of designated backcountry camp sites. Trails range from easy to strenuous. Many routes are off-trail and the hiker must be careful to leave no trace of their passage. Horseback riding is permitted on most trails. Some trails which are closed to horse traffic allow llamas as pack animals, because their smaller size and softer feet have a lower impact on trail erosion. Rock climbing and mountaineering have increased in recent years. Longs Peak, Hallett Peak and Lumpy Ridge, among others, are famous rock climbing areas. Many of the highest peaks have technical ice and rock routes on them, ranging from short scrambles to long multi-pitch climbs. In the winter, when the trails are covered in snow, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are popular. Backcountry-style Alpine, Alpine Touring and Telemark skiing can be found on the higher slopes. Fishing is found in the many lakes and streams in the park. Camping is allowed at several designated campgrounds. Walk into the Nat'l Park from this 1750 sq-ft cabin with wraparound deck and mountain views of Longs Peak (STR# 6028). Enjoy an enormous yard and rec pavillion, play games & watch movies, chill in front of a fire, or relax on new furnishings. Elk, deer, bears and wildlife abound here as we are 1/4 mile from the Park boundary. Walk into National Park & The Rock Inn Tavern 2 min drive to the Park visitor center 2 min drive to town Enjoy a private panoramic view for your next vacation!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My home is perfectly situated only a few hundred yards from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You can watch the sun rise over the mountains from bed, eat breakfast while elk and deer mill about, hike into RMNP from the front door, and come home and watch the stars over the high peaks from the deck. I am a photographer by profession and have decorated the walls with my favorite images of the area. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! I invite you to stay in my gorgeous cozy cabin! You will love its warmth, cleanliness and authentic mountain feel. It's perfectly appointed with new, comfy furnishings as well as countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. My guests here have raved: "... This is an exceptional home with all the amenities you will need." "... Quiet location and we had deer to view on a regular basis." "... It was immaculate and clean, nicely decorated, and so comfortable during our stay!" "... The view are just awesome!" "... Remote enough that it is dark at night and can see so many stars!" I spent two months giving it a complete facelift to create a quiet, relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch, tables and chairs + New carpeting in the bedrooms + Incredible reading chairs and lamps + Twinkly, cozy lights + A variety of beds (soft, medium and firm) for a great rest. + A 55” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones You will enjoy 3 bedrooms each with its own private bath, a living room with games, puzzles and a smart 55" TV, a dining room with seating for 8, an antique wood burning stove that will take you back in time, and an outdoor rec pavillion with a ping pong table. My favorite feature is the huge wraparound deck, offering a straight view of Longs Peak glistening in the morning sunrise and glowing beneath the Milky Way at night. BEDROOMS My home offers 3 bedrooms, each with an attached private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on sofa beds in the living room. Bedroom 1 - The smaller main floor bedroom has the softer mattress of all three beds in the house, plus an attached 3/4 bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (no tub). I hand made a headboard out of reclaimed pine and added a floor to ceiling armoir for storage that has a cool cork door. My favorite part of this bedroom is that it opens directly onto the gorgeous porch. Bedroom 2 - This is one of the two master bedrooms. It’s the eastern one at the top of the stairs and is the largest. It offers a chest of drawers, a medium firm bed, full blackout shades for a great night sleep, twinkly lights above the bed for ambiance, and a reading nook with a super comfy chair that gets all day sun. If you like to get in touch with nature’s daily rhythms, sleep here with the shades open and watch the sun rise as it lights up the nearby mountains. You can see the whole show from the warmth of your bed. Bedroom 3 - The second master bedroom at the top of the stairs on the west side of the home. It has the firmest bed (my favorite), but is otherwise a near mirror image of the other master bedroom. It’s got full blackout shades, unique pendant lighting, and a full bathroom. If you’re into sleeping in, this may be your favorite. Pull down the blinds and you’ll be in a cocoon until noon. Bedroom 4 - Not really a bedroom, but the living room has two ottomans with pull out beds. If you push them together, you get a queen for the largest groups. Spare linens for it are in the dining room hutch. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Deck - This is the hallmark of my home, and it's my favorite place to spend time. There’s a ton of seating out there, so you can relax, read, watch wildlife roaming around, stare at the mountains and stars, and just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. I moved all the home’s old sofas onto the deck so you can laze about. I promise that when the Milky Way rises, you’ll see more stars than most people ever have in their lives. The deck has two outdoor dining tables for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and they are great card, game and puzzle tables. You'll often feel like you're in a zoo; because the national park boundary is literally two properties away, herds of deer and elk are constantly roaming around. Living Room - If it’s cold or windy, come on into the spacious and cozy living room, which has a huge window offering the same views as you’d get from the deck. I installed a 55” smart television on a floating stand I made of reclaimed wood, so you can stream pretty much anything you’d like with your friends and family. There’s a small library with books you can read or take with you (if you take one, please leave one behind), as well as dozens of puzzles and games for when you want to detach from technology. Two doors open from the living room onto the massive deck. Dining Room - The dining room will become one of the central gathering points for your friends and family. It features a brand new birch table, seating for 8 on benches and stools, log cabin wood trim on the walls, and an antique wood burning fireplace for chilly winter nights. All combined, the mix of pine, acacia and birch wood gives you a very natural feel, and the cozy wood fireplace completes the scene. A massive door swings open onto the deck from here too. WiFi - I moved the home’s WiFi location to provide a centralized access point with no dead zones on the property. You’ll enjoy a strong 100Mbs connection for streaming, entertainment and work. REC PAVILLION - One of the most fun parts of the house is a giant recreation pavillion with a great view, open walls, Christmas lights dangling from the ceiling, and a ping pong table! This is the greatest post hike activity, aside from simply relaxing on the porch. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is a chef's dream! It features two ovens, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, a large island, lots of small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. The island also features three bar stools so people can hang out and socialize. Laundry - There's a laundry room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don't guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become sought after year-round destination over the last five years. Snow-packed granite peaks tower over a calm of ponderosa pines, which ease toward meadow and meandering stream—four ecosystems within one park. It’d be simple to cover them all on a drive along scenic Trail Ridge Road, but why not channel Enos Mills and hike some of the 355 miles of trails instead? You might hear elk bugling or spy otters swimming among lily pads."
The Hill House is along Highway 66 only a few short minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a quiet area that sees little traffic, and the park boundary is within a quarter of a mile. This means elk, coyotes, foxes, bears, raccoons, hummingbirds, and mule deer frequently pass by.

Its location is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)″W. Soothe your soul in a hot tub above downtown while staring into Rocky Mountain National Park after a long day of hiking (STR#3126)! You'll love my historic cabin, built in the late 1800s but modernized for your comfort. Its cozy 540 square feet provide great views, a full kitchen & bathroom, fireplace, inviting and warm bedroom, and a deck overlooking Lumpy Ridge. + Walk to downtown and the Stanley Hotel + 8 minute drive to the park A perfect base for up to 4 people for a mountain getaway!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. My cabin rests on a hillside above downtown in a small neighborhood of other historic cabins. This was one of the original neighborhoods when people first settled in the Estes Valley. The place predates most other buildings in the area, but it's been lovingly cared for and is in great shape. I love being able to walk to town from here, but still come home afterward and sit in the hot tub. Afterwards, I enjoy lounging on the sofa and just relaxing in front of the fireplace. There are other cabins close by, so if you are looking for total seclusion this isn't your best bet -- but there aren't many vacation rentals out there offering the great combination of views, a hot tub, fireplace, deck, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to town. ⛰️ BEDROOMS ⛰️ My home offers 1 bedroom, plus sleeping for two more on two Ikea ottomans that convert to single beds. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. It's a cozy space with wood paneled walls throughout, and north facing windows so you can watch the sun light up Lumpy Ridge as you wake up. ⛰️ LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT ⛰️ Living Room - There's a spacious dining room table and a comfy couch to lounge in while you stream your favorite Netflix series on the speedy WiFi. Feel free to fire up the fireplace -- it's electric but offers a great ambiance as the flames flicker on the cozy wood walls. Deck & Hot Tub - We have a small deck with a grill off the front door overlooking Lumpy Ridge, a perfect spot for BBQ.. Our hot tub fits two comfortably but you could squeeze more in if necessary. It has a small fence around it for privacy from our neighors' cabins, but the northern side is open so you can watch the mountains. ⛰️ LAUNDRY & COOKING ⛰️ Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, small appliances, fridge, freezer, full size oven and stove, microwave, drop coffee maker, toaster, and more. You may not actually use it that much because you can walk to all the great restaurants in downtown! Laundry - We do offer a full size washer and dryer for you to use!
My cabin is located in a neighborhood of other historic cabins on a hillside just above downtown Estes Park. You can literally walk everywhere in town -- to the Stanley Hotel, Ed's Cantina, local coffee shops and restaurants, etc. Because it's on a hill, you have a great view of Lumpy Ridge to the north from the deck and hot tub.
  • Ottimo posto dove stare.

    Jamie2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ottima posizione, super pulito, letto fantastico.

If you chose to drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance station it is only 5 minutes away. The retreat is located in a historic area of Estes Park where other houses and cabins are not crowding each other. The kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to cook at home. Your health and safety is our top priority. We have blocked our calendar after each guest checkout so there is no back to back bookings. We have a thorough and regimented cleaning protocol and have added extra measures to ensure your safety. We disinfect all hard surfaces like keys, keypads, door knobs, light switches, books, remote controls, counter tops, etc. All bedding is washed between guests including quilts and comforters. Extra blankets you find at the cabin have been washed between guests and can be found in plastic so you know that it's be cleaned.
Rocky Retreat is moments from Rocky Mountain National Park. On busy weekends, you can do some hiking into the national park and avoid the crowds. The entrance is just a short drive by car as well. Elk are common neighbors in this part of town.

Walk a few hundred yards into the Nat'l Park from my cozy, contemporary space influenced by my Norwegian roots (STR #6184). A 44" 4K TV, full kitchen, queen bed, private bath, and big deck will ensure a great getaway. My house basically abuts the park, so you'll see lots of wildlife as you sip your coffee! + Walk into RMNP & The Rock Inn Tavern + 2 min drive to the Park visitor center + 5 min drive to town Enjoy a tiny home with great amenities for your next vacation!
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. Thanks for checking out the north apartment in my duplex, perfectly situated just footsteps away from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. You will love its cleanliness and modern, cozy feel inspired by my Norwegian roots. It's well appointed with a new kitchen, living room, TV, sofa, bed, carpet and more, and the fully equipped kitchen will allow you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. Note that winter tires, chains or 4WD/AWD are highly recommended in Estes Park from October to May. If you arrive in an inadequate vehicle during a winter storm and can't make it the last few hundred feet to the home, you'll need to ferry your stuff by hand and then park in our other home two blocks away and walk back. This sort of weather happens a few times a year. People who have stayed at my 425 square-foot rental have raved: "...Great place to rest your head after a long hike." "... Cute, modern cabin that is perfect distance from the National Park and town." "... Nice deck and at the top of the hill, so it felt like a true retreat." "... Rannveig was very accommodating and quickly responded!" I spent nearly three months during the winter of 2019 working to create a quiet and relaxing sanctuary for your mountain retreat. Improvements include: + Fresh paint throughout + Comfy modern couch + New carpeting in the bedroom + Twinkly, cozy lights + A brand new queen mattress for a great rest. + A 44” smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones My favorite feature is the vaulted living room ceiling, making the tiny space feel quite big. I also love the large deck, which is surrounded by mountains. ***** FOUR IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES ***** This is a duplex, and both sides are short term rentals. The only shared space, however, is the driveway. The wall separating the units is sound insulated, but please be respectful and don't make a ton of noise. This 1940s cabin has been itching for a facelift for many years. While the inside is completely brand new (with the exception of the tub and stove), I plan to totally repaint the exterior soon, when weather allows. There are other rental units nearby in my historic cabin neighborhood. If you are looking for complete seclusion and and isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. Last, check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren't other people to clean. I'm sorry about that! BEDROOMS My home offers 1 bedrooms with its own private bathroom, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable memory-foam mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a large closet for your gear, plus a full bathroom complete with shower/tub, original wood siding from the 1940s, and a brand new toilet, vanity and medicine chest. Blackout shades ensure privacy and a sound night's rest, but if you like to wake up with the sunrise, you can leave them up and close the sheer curtains and watch the room light up in the mornings. Bedroom 1 - Not really a bedroom, but the living couch turns into a full size bed that can comfortable accomodate two. A spare set of sheets and blankets is in the chaise part of the couch, which flips up. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room -There's a brand new 44" 4K smart television with Roku. Come on in and log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 100Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The galley kitchen has everything you need to cook, despite it being so small. There's a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a french press so you can get your caffeine fix before you enjoy the park. Laundry - My tiny space features a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use.
My neighborhood has about 30 historic vacation cabins. There are other buildings nearby so if you are looking for total isolation and wilderness seclusion, another home may be better for you. That said, the location can't be beat. You can hike out your door and straight into the National Park. The top of Eagle Cliff Mountain, which my home sites on the side of, has one of the best views in all of Estes Park. Standing atop it afford an unobstructed view of Beaver Meadows and all the high peaks along the Continental Divide. An unofficial trailhead is about 3 minutes from the door. You'll be on the west side of Estes Park, so you don't have to brave downtown traffic to get into the National Park. Driving into the center of town is a short 7 minute journey, and the closest grocery store is 5 minutes away.

Spacious studio guest suite with private entrance, newer queen mattress, living area, large windows, kitchenette, bathroom. Private entrance with deck covered by large awning (in summer months), hammock and picnic table. Convenient, mountain living - short walk to Event Center, Lake Estes walking path, downtown Estes Park and Visitor Center shuttle. We follow CDC cleaning protocol. (Registration#3265)
Peaceful, quiet space for your "home base" while exploring RMNP and Estes Park. Many of our guests comment on the number of conveniences we've thought of to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Large coffee table to spread your maps on as you confirm your adventures or settle in for the night with some reading or games. No TV, but there is good wifi if you want to bring your tablet or computer.
The backyard space is quiet, private and secluded from the rest of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very convenient to downtown Estes Park, the Fairgrounds, Lake Estes, and RMNP. A surprising variety of wildlife frequents our neighborhood and passes through our yard.

Vorremmo assolutamente tornare.

    Alyssa2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Così vicino all'ingresso del parco.

Molto vicino all'ingresso est del parco.

This charming and cozy river-adjacent condo set against a breathtaking rock-face backdrop in the heart of downtown offers easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, gorgeous views, and only a short drive to the park. It is not uncommon for our guests to awake to herds of elk mere feet from the front door! Check out our other similar listing right next-door, Unit #10! You may find other available dates or maybe even a more competitive price! View it at https://airbnb.com/h/estespark-unit-10
The space features a private bedroom with queen bed, a full kitchen, full bath, living room with a comfy queen foam mattress sleeper sofa, and toasty electric fireplace. Amenities include cable TV, WiFi (mountain internet can sometimes be patchy), and communal exterior gas fire pit. This building has shared patio spaces which include chairs, picnic tables and a gas grill. Take your early morning coffee to the upper deck and soak in the Colorado sunshine and beautiful view. This cozy space is ideal for a couple, a family with smaller children, and is suitable for four adults who don't getting snug. We also have a pack and play available for our younger guests. Check-in is 4pm and Check-out is 10am. Unfortunately we are not able to provide early/late arrival/departure due to the schedule of our other guests and cleaners. A roll of toilet paper and paper towels are provided at the start of your stay but additional consumables are the responsibility of our guests. This unit is on the garden level so be aware that some noise could be heard from the condos above. Due to the central location of this condo, there can be some traffic noise. Most guests do not notice or mind but we like to be up front about it. The appeal of this location is its proximity to shopping and restaurants. Estes Park is a beautiful and popular destination, so at certain times of the year (especially summer), parking can be difficult. Parking in front of the complex can be limited during this time but there are a few options: parking passes are provided to you free of charge to the lot across the street for overnight parking. There is also a free city shuttle system allowing guests to park in the much larger parking structure down the road at the beginning of your stay and shuttle to the unit. There are very rare instances when when we may need to enter the condo for a repair, to restock something for our cleaners, etc. We always do it during the day and always make an attempt to contact our guests beforehand but if we don’t get a reply, we may knock and if no one is there, let ourselves in to do the brief maintenance. If we get reports/complaints of rowdiness, smoking or pets, we reserve the right to check on the property without notice. We strive to give you a 5 star experience, so if there are any issues during your stay, please reach out to us so we can make it right! Town of Estes Registration #6177

Estes Valley vacation home license #3003. Gorgeous mountain views from every room and from the two porches. Cabin is nestled on 14 acres bordering Rocky Mountain National Park. It is only six miles to the main entrance of the park and two miles from the town of Estes Park and numerous restaurants. Convenient access for hiking, climbing, biking, or enjoying downtown. Abundant wildlife viewing in your front yard!
Our house is located 100m behind the cabin. The buildings are located on 14 acres full of ponderosa pine, aspen, cedar, douglas fir, and blue spruce. A seasonal pond (October - May) in the front yard is a frequent stop for deer and elk. A vacation home is within site to the east, but is rarely used. The neighbors to the west are secluded behind a tall fence.

Registration #4025 Quaint and comfortable cottage at the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park!
Welcome to the Bierstadt Haus in Estes Park! We are excited to personally welcome you to our family’s quaint and comfortable guest Haus. The Bierstadt Haus is perfect for any couple or best of friends who want the Colorado mountain experience to the fullest! Please read “What you should know before booking, “Covid-19,” and “Interaction with Guests” for all current information! ***Covid-19: Currently we have modified hosting to make your visit as safe as possible! We are implementing Airbnb’s recommended 24 hour vacancy between all guests’ check-in and check-out times to provide the best opportunities for safety for guests as well as your hosts and cleaners. We have the highest standards for cleaning and disinfecting in effective ways known to covid-19. If you are sick, we ask that you stay home and rebook for a safer time. *Please note that Estes Park tourism will likely look very different, including limited access to RMNP. There is a town ordinance that requires you to be wearing a mask in all public areas. As your hosts, we have altered our hosting to no physical contact, but will provide you with the same level of hospitality!*** What makes the Bierstadt Haus special? The decor is Rocky Mountain featuring the famous German-American painter of the late 19th century, Albert Bierstadt. Enjoy viewing his majestic mountain landscapes as well as experiencing the history of the rockies and the changing west through the depictions of his paintings on display. This gives the atmosphere a historical authenticity. Follow us on Facebook for exciting pictures and videos, current local events and vacancy discounts! https://m.facebook.com/The-Bierstadt-Haus-2078495145788959/?ref=bookmarks What does the Bierstadt Haus have to offer? Our location, viewing Long's Peak, is about as close as anyone can stay to the Beaver Meadow's entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as, only two miles from the heart of downtown Estes Park, making it the perfect basecamp for all of your excursions! Our kitchenette offers a compact refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, and drip coffee pot to meet all of your needs for simple meals and coffee preferences. We also see moose, bears, bobcats and coyotes from time to time. From the outdoor seating, you can enjoy the incredibly majestic views of Long’s peak and the surrounding mountain peaks in the Never Summer Range. What you should know before booking. 1. The Bierstadt Haus is a stand alone cottage but is connected to our family home corner to corner (no shared walls) by a covered porch. Due to close proximity, we do our best to make the most of your privacy and ours. The best part is this makes it very convenient to give you the best of our hospitality! 2. We have two young children and we stay home full time. We play in the front yard during the day time but most guests are out during the day so it's never an issue. 3. We do not allow smoking or pets. 4. We make it one of our highest priorities to provide a freshly and meticulously cleaned space before every guest arrives, hence your cleaning fee at work. However, due to the nature of living in the mountains, it is not uncommon that a bug may sneak his way in past the deterring measures I've put up. If you see a bug, please don't take it as a sign that your quarters have been neglected in cleaning but just a testament to the beautiful nature that surrounds us. And if you see a bug, just know it may be the cleanest bug you've ever seen! 5. There is no air conditioning unit, however the temperatures drop low at night time. You can open the windows and we provide fans to bring in that crisp cold mountain air. 6. For personal reasons, we have chosen not to allow check-ins on Sundays. Guests may book through Sundays and/or check-out on Sundays. To us there is nothing more important than Worshiping God and we wish to allow our cleaning ladies to do the same without having the responsibilities that come with every new check-in. We know this can be inconvenient, but a special thanks to you for understanding! What activities are there to do near the Bierstadt Haus? There are many activities, events, and experiences to share while staying at the Bierstadt Haus. Events fluctuate throughout the seasons and there are always both indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy with friends and family while you stay in the Estes Valley. (More information is available when you arrive! In the meantime, check out the Estes Park town website.)
Right at the entrance of the famous and beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park (less than 2 miles away), yet secluded and private from all the crowds and traffic. Our road (High Drive) ends at a dead end which limits through traffic. Our shared driveway extends about 300 feet off High Drive past two of our neighbors' houses, so be sure to watch for the road signs and drive slowly on the driveway (our neighbors sometimes have dogs in their yard and our children play in the front yard of our house). You will find our house to left and the guest parking is clearly marked with a sign.

Reg #3261. Our little red cabin was built in the 1950s and has acquired loads of character and charm over the years. Located on a quiet lot in a residential area about 1.5 miles from downtown, Lake Estes, & Fairgrounds Event Complex. With one large bedroom, a full bath, small kitchen, sleeping for 2 additional guests in shared spaces, washer & dryer, Wifi, ROKU, and great wildlife viewing, this rustic cabin is perfect for an Estes Park vacation.
This cabin was built and then added on to, so the hall is narrow and there is a step down into the main bedroom and a matching step down in the bathroom. If you are uncomfortable with narrow spaces, this may not be the right fit for your vacation -- see pictures of the hall, kitchen, and bathroom. The cabin is not a sleek, modern condo! There is no A/C and no dishwasher. We have a strict no pets policy. The property cannot accommodate large RVs due to the passage through trees on the driveway.
Although this cabin is only 1.5 miles from downtown Estes Park, and just a few blocks off Hwy 7, it feels like you are out in the woods. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, with lots of trees and wildlife. There is a large elk herd that moves through this neighborhood all year, so in the spring and early summer you may walk out to a yard full of mamma and baby elk, or in the fall, the bugling of bull elk rutting may wake you up in the morning. When the elk aren't around, there are plenty of other wild life and birds to watch. And if you keep the bird bath full of water, it will keep them coming back for a drink. The Fairgrounds Event Center, the Community Center, and the 18-hole Golf Course are less than a mile away. Both entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park are about 15 minute drives, going through town to the Beaver Point entrance or bypassing town to go to the Horseshoe Park entrance. We are south of downtown, so you don’t need to drive through town to get to popular event venues like Mary’s Lake Lodge and Tahara. The Stanley Hotel is about 2 miles away, 5-10 minutes drive depending on if you get the green light or the red light. Boulder and Fort Collins are both about an hour away.

Reg.#3088. Sparkling clean studio with antler chandelier, vaulted ceiling, small kitchen, covered patio with your own gas grill, mountain views, table and chairs. Cozy interior - queen bed, leather love-seat, and new carpet. Only 3 units - all have private entrances and patios. A 1 acre retreat - centrally located along the Fall River, close to downtown Estes Park and 3 miles to Rocky. Due to C-19 we have implemented a 4 day gap between all reservations, self check-in, enhanced sanitizing.
Efficient well designed space for 1 or 2 guests. This is not a large unit. It is a cozy (380 sq. ft.) studio suite, with contemporary / western decor. Recent upgrades include new carpet, queen bed, and a saddle leather love seat. The kitchen has a 2 burner stove top (no oven), a microwave, small refrigerator, kitchen sink, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans, dishes, crock pot, and your own infrared gas grill on the covered patio. The summer patio has flowers, water feature, views and visiting wildlife. The Bunkhouse sits on a rock bluff high above Elkhorn Ave., the main street through downtown. It is less than a mile to town - peak season there is some road noise as cars drive into the park. It is across the street from the Fall river, Old Man Mountain, and you can also hike into the national park. The cozy studio has a vaulted ceiling, antler chandelier over the dining table, flat screen TV, free dependable WiFi, leather dining chairs, large closet & built-in dressers. There is a tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. This is one of three attached vacation units at "The Bunkhouse at Old Man Mountain". It is family owned and operated; we are not a large condo complex. If you require more space .. a living room with larger sofa, recliner, coffee table, please see our 2 other listings on this site, and on the other major vacation rental sites.
Close to downtown, but still quiet and secluded, homes in the neighborhood are on large lots. Across the street from the Fall River - a wildlife corridor for elk, deer, wild turkey, coyotes, bobcat, and an occasional bear. Only 3 mile from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mtn. National Park. Walk to restaurants, bakery, and shops. It is less than a mile to downtown Estes Park - a nice walk on the Fall River Trail. A great residential neighborhood, off the main street through town.

Breathe in the Rockies from our hilltop hideaway, perched above downtown Estes Park and minutes to the National Park (STR #3272). We searched for this dream home our whole lives, but before we retire here, we invite you to enjoy its charm. The mountain views will cause your jaw to drop, and the location allows you to explore breweries, bars, shopping and restaurants by foot. + Walk to all of downtown Estes + 5 min by car to the National Park At 1300 s/f, perfect for couples or families alike.
NOTE: You must input dates and guest count before the platform calculates an accurate price for your visit. By booking, you are agreeing to the house rules at the bottom of the listing. You must read them. We are pet friendly but please ask for approval first. My husband and I chose to retire in this home because of the views -- we couldn't find anything better in all of Estes Park. Our house sits on top of a quiet hillside overlooking downtown, with the giant rock formations of Lumpy Ridge (part of Rocky Mountain National Park) looming in the distance and the sounds of Fall River wafting up from just below our lot. We have spent so many mornings enjoying the view from the deck, sipping coffee as the butterflies fly by and deer and elk munch on grass in the fields below. There are very few homes in downtown Estes Park with these views , so even if your family needs a day off from hiking and other adventures, you can still enjoy the Rockies from the comfort of our home. Incredibly, if you set off on foot from our front door, you'll find yourself exploring the best Estes has to offer in just a few minutes. Our favorite breweries, wineries, restaurants and shops are so close but they seem so far. Send your kids to a nearby adventure park, or take the whole family up the Aerial Tramway (all within a few blocks). Note that the walk home can be steep -- but as past guests have said, it makes a tasty dessert guilt-free. We invite you to visit our beautiful blue abode -- "The Mountain House" in Estes Park. You will love its spacious, open floor plan, perfect location, gorgeous views, cleanliness, and proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's perfectly appointed with comfy furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen, and countless amenities so you can feel at home during your mountain getaway in Estes Park. We are long-time vacation home hosts, but are brand new to the AirBnB platform. However, past guests have raved: "... Great spot with easy access to park and view of town. Fun to see elk right outside the door." "... The best part was that it somehow FELT like it was a secluded mountain cabin with a great view of the mountains and the town below." "... The sound of the river down-slope from the house will lull you to sleep and make hanging out on the porch very enjoyable." "... We had a breathtaking view of the 4th of July fireworks on our last night there which was such a nice treat." We have upgraded and modernized our home, and we're proud of it. We have put a lot of energy into creating a peaceful, serene and relaxing place for a mountain retreat. Some of our latest updates include all new stainless appliances, super comfortable new linens, and a ton of small kitchen appliances so you can cook whatever you can dream up. We've also invested in an enormous puzzle, game and toy closet to entertain the kids! Our favorite feature of our home is the deck and its associated views. Despite being above downtown, you will almost certainly see elk, deer and other wildlife from the top of the ridge it sits on. We've put a BBQ and great table out there to really soak it all in. The sounds of Fall River make it so much more enjoyable during the spring when the snow melt starts and the water level rises. BEDROOMS Our home offers 3 bedrooms, with sleeping for a maximum of 8 people (per town regulations). Bedroom 1 - A massive and comfortable king sized bed located at the far end of the home away from the family room. Quiet and private. Bedroom 2 - A queen bedroom adjacent to the family room, with a sliding door opening directly onto our porch. When we visit alone, we choose this bedroom and watch the morning sun light up the Rockies. Bedroom 3 - The kids room has 2 bunk beds with four single beds, bringing our total sleeping capacity to 8. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living & Sun Rooms - Our living area has it all: treehouse feel due to the giant windows, the great views to Lumpy Ridge, a wood burning fire place (bring your own firewood), a big smart TV loaded with streaming apps, fast Wi-Fi, a book shelf with a ton of material, and a massive game closet. The attached sun porch heats up and is our favorite place for winter mornings when the snow is falling. COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen is fully stocked It features an oven, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, various small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want. ESTES PARK'S MANY AWARDS Estes has become an awesome year-round destination over the last five years. In fact, a few years ago the town was named to more than 50 lists of Best, Favorite and Top Destinations. Here are a select few: - Best Mountain Town - Sunset Magazine - Top-Rated Vacation Destinations in North America - Expedia - America's Most Scenic Roads - Travel + Leisure Magazine - Top 20 Mountain Trips - Sunset Magazine - America's 15 Most Romantic Cities for Winter Travel - Trip Advisor - 10 U.S. Places To Travel Before They Get Famous - Huffington Post - The Ten Most Beautiful Towns in CO - TheCultureTrip.com - The Most Romantic Weekend Getaway in Every State - Thrillist.com - 50 Small Towns Across America with the Most Beautiful Fall Foliage - Country Living - The 15 Most Beautiful Spots in CO - TheCrazyTourist.com - Best Towns in Colorado - Niche - Top 10 Adult Spring Break Destinations in America Revealed - World Property Journal Here's what National Geographic Magazine wrote out our little slice of paradise: "Rising up along the Continental Divide, Rocky Mountain National Park is a natural overachiever, with 77 mountains above 12,000 feet—including 14,259-foot Longs Peak—and a span of alpine tundra.
Can't say much more than this: our home is in the best neighborhood in all of Estes Park! Hands down! It sits on a hillside overlooking downtown. That means you can walk out the front door and within a few minutes be at... - The Historic Park Theater, the oldest operating cinema in the Western USA - Rock Cut Brewery, an incredible local craft brewery rivaling the best of the best in the Colorado microbrew scene - Snowy Peaks Winery, our local winery using Colorado grapes - The Slab, a great outdoor taproom with more beers on tap than we can count - All of our favorite downtown restaurants and shops. Personally we are more than happy to enjoy our morning coffee on the deck and watch hummingbirds all summer, but when it's so easy to walk to a bunch of great local coffee houses each morning... well... why not? Best of all, our home is above down, not in it, so the noise and the hustle and bustle is nonexistent.
