This private cottage is perfect for your affordable business travel and vacation. Here is a spacious home where you can relax on the couch or private patio and enjoy the stunning 180 degree sea views. Over 150 reviews! This self-catering unit includes an ensuite bathroom and full kitchen. The location is ideal for its quiet and safe area, away from the bustle of the city. We are a one minute walk away from the local beaches and only a 20-minute drive to downtown. We have garage secure parking.

This private and charming cottage is perfect for your affordable vacation. It is a one bedroom self-catering house with stunning seaviews from its own patio. The owners live in the next door in the attached house with their dogs. Set up like a beach cottage, we are located on the Bluff, a suburb in Durban, and steps away from local beach path. This home includes an open plan lounge which includes a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom and a separated fully furnished kitchen (with refrigerator and microwave). The cottage leads on to its own private patio and garden with a wonderful 180 degree sea view. Guests are welcome to use the shared swimming pool and shared BBQ area which in Durban can be easily enjoyed right until winter. Note that the place is attached to a main house, but separated by the white picket fence for your own privacy. Furthermore, those who are not comfortable with stairs, there are 15 steps downstairs from the garage/main road which you must take to reach the cottage. Besides what is listed above, we have off-road parking in a garage for a sedan-sized vehicle. There is access to free wi-fi. There is a convenience store across the road (including laundry facilities), and a mini-grocery store which is less than a two minute drive. The property is also serviced by both municipal and private bus routes. Guests are welcome to enjoy as much privacy as they would like. We also live next door in our own house and are available should you need assistance during your stay or need further local advice of where to visit and go. It is only 2 minute drive to the local beach and only 20 minute drive from downtown. Take a break from a busy city life. The Bluff has its own unique history and is the gem in Durban. It has some of the finest beaches in the area and can feel more like some tropical island spots than urban centres. The place overlooks the Indian Ocean and there is quick access to one of Durban's best kept secrets. There are rockpools for snorkelling with tropical fish, world class surfing and unspoilt beaches for summer walks. This quiet Bluff neighbourhood is peaceful and the spacious area takes away the rush of the busy city life. We are only 15 minutes away from downtown and from the main university campus. This cottage is part of the Bluff's fishing heritage, once home to Norwegian whalers and remains near the old whaling station, now derelict but still a fascinating place to visit. A five minute drive can also take you to the Green Dolphin restaurant or Heidi's Cafe at Anstey's Beach as well as the local shopping mall and gym. The property is serviced by municipal and private bus routes. There is off-road parking behind its own electric gate, suitable for a small vehicle only. Otherwise parking can be found on the verge outside the property. We have two dalmatians that are lovable. They stay next to the cottage entrance, and they are happy to keep a nightly vigil for you. They also live on the property and their area is kept clean and tidy.

A studio apartment with lovely sea views... This flat has a breath taking view all the way to Durban. It has a 48 smart tv with Netflix. It has both a ceiling and free standing fans. The large windows that slide open allow for an awesome view. This unit is directly above the bathing beach and the rock pool. This unit also comes with uncapped WIFI. Towels, coffee, tea are also included. You literally just need to bring your clothes.

Location, location, location. And the beautiful view... It has a lovely pool and braai area at the top of the block... Uncapped Wifi.

Some ideas during your stay: Food: •Tasca pizza in Umdloti has great pizzas. Their Tasca special is awesome (out the block down the road 100m). •Sandbar is next to Tasca pizza. They have lovely cocktails and are also famous for their ribs. •Bush tavern was at the circle as you drove in. It is a local hangout. •Bel Punto is a 5 star establishment which serves really good food. Shopping: •Gateway theatre of shopping is 8km. It is in the Umhlanga area. It has over 400 shops and restaurants. •If you go to Gateway, Tasha’s or Hussar Grill is a must. Umhlanga: •Umhlanga is the place to be in the evening. Especially Chartwell drive. •There are plenty of restaurants to suit everyone’s tastes. •Little Havana is also a must visit. •Also lots of pubs. General: •There is a pharmacy in Umdloti by the petrol station as you drive in. It is open Monday to Friday 8:00 – 5:00 and Saturday 8:00 – 12:00. •There are two laundry places in Umdloti. One is by the spar and the other is by the petrol station, around the corner. •If you are wanting to buy food, use the spar or go into Umhlanga. If you spend R200 or more at spar, they will deliver or they will fetch you, take you to spar and then drop you off again. •The main bathing beach is directly across the road. •Please be careful in the sea. The sea can be very dangerous if you don’t adhere to the rules laid out by the life guards.

Newly renovated apartment, with open plan kitchen lounge, dining. 2 beds (both double). Modern clean bathroom, shower. Furnished courtyard, with Braai facilities. There is one secure lock up garage parking included. Centrally located near Moses Mabhida stadium, and ICC. 5 minutes drive to popular beaches. 10 minutes to Gateway and Umhlanga. Surrounded by numerous popular restaurants and bars.

This apartment, one of 4 in a small complex, has 2 large rooms, which I have renovated and modernized to suite my beach lifestyle. The apartment itself has a great flow and homely feel throughout.

What I love about my neighborhood, is that it's incredibly central to most things in Durban. The beach is 5 minutes away. The main shopping and financial hubs are 10 minutes away. ICC is about 10 minutes away. 30 minutes drive to the most beautiful coastline, both North and South. You get a real sense of Durban in my Neighborhood.

The main room is spacious with a large built-in cupboard, table and chairs and a TV with Netflix. Off the bedroom is a small verandah with city views. Our home is in a quiet cul de sac and is conveniently situated close to the Gateway shopping centre, Durban beach front and CBD and 5 minutes from Moses Mabeda stadium. There is also secure parking on the premises.

Our home is close to the beachfront, Florida Rd, Moses Mabhida and Sharks stadia, theatres, parks, cinemas and supermarkets (the SPAR around the corner has a good deli with cooked and cold foods). The room you will use is at the back of the house and has it's own entrance, so you can come and go as you please. You have access to lock-up parking. We have wi-fi, air con and a swimming pool. Please note the swimming pool does not have a pool net or fence around it.

Your room is spacious and light, with an air con unit. There is a small fridge, a kettle, cups, tea, coffee and rusks - on the house! You'll be comfortable on the king-size bed. Come morning, we can whip up a cool continental (fruit, yogurt, muesli) breakfast for you for R50.00 A workstation and our wi-fi will enable you to continue your day online effortlessly. Fresh towels, soap and shampoo come with the room. You may use our washing machine and clothes line! However, if you need your laundry done for you, we can do so at an additional cost. Although your room has only the one double bed, if you have children we can put a mattress down on the floor.

Morningside is an old suburb of Durban with beautiful old houses and trees. We are very close to Florida Rd which is home to a bewildering array of funky coffee shops, artisanal anything, restaurants and night clubs. We are also close to Durban's beautiful Botanic Gardens and Mitchell's Park with its delightful zoo. Walking round this area during the day is safe and we feel very safe here at home as we have private security and cameras. The beach is a few km's away, as is the CBD and the International Convention Centre.

Bello ed elegante e spazioso. Tutto quello di cui avevo bisogno era nella stanza ... bonus per trovare che avevo un bollitore, caffè, frigo una fantastica passeggiata nella doccia. La camera da letto è molto pulita e spaziosa. Ero qui per correre la maratona dei compagni e raccomanderei il posto di Vals. Lei è un anfitrione eccezionale che consiglierà su qualsiasi cosa di cui avete bisogno e vi lascerà anche andare avanti con il vostro soggiorno.

Welcome to leafy Glenwood, one of Durban's older suburbs. The cottage is centrally located, 20 min from the airport, 10 min from the beaches, 5 min from the Davenport Entertainment Strip. We are also located across the road from the tranquil Pigeon Valley Nature Reserve. The cottage sleeps 3 people and is Ideal for singles, couples, a small family or friends travelling together. Unfortunately if you arrive with a 4th guest, I will have to turn them away. Visitors numbers are also limited .

Glenwood has a wide variety of restaurants and eclectic shops. The University of Kwa Zulu Natal (UKZN) main gate is a 5 min walk away and DUT (Technicon) a 5 min drive. We are also within walking distance of two excellent hospitals. (St Augustines & Entabeni Hospital.) Albert Luthuli Hospital and King Edward Hospital are a 10min drive away, respectively. "Pigeon Valley" nature reserve, is an unusual example of an urban reserve with very high levels of biodiversity. It was established to provide protection for the Natal Elm (Celtis mildbraedii) and other forest giants of the coastal climax forest. Besides abundant bird life, you will also be able to spot red & blue duiker, banded mongoose and vervet monkeys. NB: The local troop of Vervet Monkeys regularly visit our property. They are cheeky but not dangerous.

Glenwood is a neighborhood favored by the "arty" crowd. Writers, artists, academics, musos are aplenty and you are bound to bump into a few at our local coffee shops , bars etc. The area is also beautifully lush, and is often referred to as "The Wood" by residents. You would be forgiven for thinking you were staying in a outer suburb, not just a few minutes form the cities bustling center and golden beaches.

Adjacent to Ushaka Beach and Marine World, it's perfectly located with restaurants, shopping, family-friendly activities & the best beach on Durban's Golden Mile, all right on your doorstep. We also have a new 2 bed 6 sleeper apartment available for large family groups.

The apartment is on the 9th Floor, with fabulous views over Durban's Golden Mile. The kitchen and living room are open plan with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Kitchen: Granite tops and 3 bar stools, also features all new Defy appliances, Oven, Hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge and dishwasher (yay, no need to wash dishes on holiday). All the basic crockery cutlery and cooking utensils are provided, just bring your ingredients. The building has a fully equipped Laundry with washing machines and dryers in the basement. Living and Dining: the living area is cosy with a Sofa-bed and TV/entertainment area on the opposite wall. A dining table and chairs are placed next to the window to enjoy the awesome view. The Sofa Bed would suit 2 young children, and an inflatable mattress is available for older children or adults. The Point Waterfront precinct of Durban is a new development that has rejuvenated the old port-side of Durban's beachfront. There are canals all around teaming with beautiful fish. The area is secured and patrolled by guards as well as monitored via CCTV. uShaka is the biggest attraction in the area, and is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. At uShaka you will find tourism information centres, safari companies, great retail and delicious dining, as well as the Aquarium and Marine World, with Dolphin & Seal Shows. uShaka also boasts the iconic Moyo pier and one of the best swimming/surfing beaches in Durban Pedals and gondola rides are available from the canals near uShaka

Morningside is simply the best neighbourhood of central Durban. Family and lifestyle friendly with close proximity to the sea. Bustling Florida Road with all its amazing restaurants and popular family parks within 1km. The safest, most peaceful Suburb close to Durban CBD. At night it feels like you are in a rural town setting because there is no main road (traffic) close by. Location is in short one-way street, limiting traffic to allmost none at night. An Oasis of peace close to the city - can often hear the sea when there is no wind at night. Loads of Art-deco Architecture to observe in the surrounding area. Many a local restaurant within 5min walking distance. We recommend Audacia Manor hotel's 5 star restaurant, 300 meters away, for amazing meals and views over the city.

Il loro spazio è esattamente quello che c'è nelle foto e altro, perfettamente pulito e sono molto amichevoli. Abbiamo anche incontrato il loro figlio, che è anche molto amichevole. Abbiamo sicuramente apprezzato il nostro soggiorno, soprattutto perché tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno era nelle vicinanze.

Start the morning with coffee on a balcony with a serene view of ships coming and going from Durban Harbour. Step into the main living area and a notice a touch of glamour and contemporary sophistication. Make breakfast in a sleek, modern kitchen.

The apartment kitchen is fitted with a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and a coffee machine. There is a fitted oven and electric hob and all basic commodities are supplied for guests. (Fresh ground coffee, tea, home made rusks, milk and sugar). The apartment is also equipped with all utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses and extra sundries (serving platters, salad bowls, champagne bucket etc). The main room has a queen bed (2 people) and there is a single sleeper couch (1 person) with bedding (SNooZA) in the lounge (A maximum of 3 people can be accommodated). The SNooZA folds back into a neat ottoman when you don't need it.

The apartment is in Durban Point Waterfront, a managed precinct which is fast developing into a trendy, sought-after area. It's close to restaurants and bars, and is a short beautiful walk to the beach, Durban Promenade, and Ushaka Marine World.

The Cottage can accommodate up to 6 Guests and is centrally located in Durban North - ideal proximity to Moses Mahbida Stadium, Ushaka Marine World, ICC Exhibition Centre, Sun Coast Casino, Gateway Theatre of Shopping and Umhlanga Rocks ... all within 2 - 10km radius. Wild Banana features a large balcony with comfortable seating and a Weber braai; ideal for outdoor entertainment. Other features are a self-contained kitchen with everything you will need for cooking. Stove, microwave as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. We also provide tea, sugar and coffee. The bedrooms all have air-conditioning. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with dressing table and an en-suite bathroom,bedroom 2 has two single beds and air-conditioning. The lounge area features a Widescreen TV connected to an Apple TV with Netflix and Full DSTV with decoder. The whole unit has WIFI connectivity. Wild Banana also has a private courtyard with a trampoline and slide and seesaw in it. The cottage is very large at 140sqm... Located in the beautiful suburb of Morningside, with easy access to the city and Umhlanga, 15 min walk to Florida Road, 5 minute drive to the beach and 50m from a great coffee shop! The flat is by the pool at the back of our property and has a private entrance and parking. Ideal for a solo business traveller but will comfortably accommodate a couple too.

Newly-fitted private garden flat with amenities for business or tourist clientele. Queen-sized bed with fresh bedding and towels for use during stay. En-suite bathroom with spacious shower and shampoo/body wash. Coffee / Tea station and microwave. Aircon / Heater will ensure a comfortable stay whatever the weather. Relax or work on the comfortable chairs inside or at the two-seater table outside by the pool. WiFi available.

Love Coffee just a few metres away is a must visit. Peaky Blinders pub and a few more restaurants are also a short walk away.
