Fawn Cabin is an authentic mountain cabin that truly says Colorado! Set on 5+ acres with beautiful views and privacy. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the brook rippling thru from the deck, soak in the hot tub, and just relax. Enjoy viewing the deer and other abundant wildlife that are right outside the door. Just 20 minutes from Cripple Creek, 20 minutes from the South Platte river in Eleven Mile Canyon, 10 minutes from Florissant Fossil Beds. Two hours from Denver. One hour from Colo Spgs.
I think the pictures pretty much tell the story. Fawn Cabin is a very beautiful and inviting place where you can relax and unwind in the Colorado Rockies, while still being close enough to all the Pikes Peak area attractions to keep you as busy and entertained as you wish to be. Cripple Creek is only minutes away. Many great hiking trails and trout fishing waters nearby too choose from.
The cabin is situated in Deer Mountain Ranch, a mountain community of homes and cabins on 5 + acre lots. Fawn Cabin has no neighbors on the adjoining lots, and the nearest neighbor is across the road approximately 300-400 yards. The location is very private and peaceful!

Newly completed, this fun studio is the **1st floor** of a 2 story, 2 unit, guest house- Lovingly referred to as The Fat Squirrel Guest House. This European style studio space features new furniture and fixtures, a brand new bathroom, and a modern, clean feeling that manages to be non-stuffy! There is a simple wet bar, with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker (coffee and tea are provided), french press, toaster, and electric water kettle. The set-up suits travelers that prefer eating out, or making simple meals while spending most of their time exploring. Other amenities include: A blow dryer, Iron & small ironing board, shampoo, condition, body wash, and make-up removing wipes. Netflix, Hulu (with the HBO channel), and Amazon Prime are ready to go on the smart TV. If you'd like to rent a movie on Amazon, send me a text/message and I can turn the movie on for you for the stated rental price. Being an efficient space, the single sink is located in the main studio room, and NOT the bathroom. There is a comfortable memory foam queen size bed, and the couch/lounger is a twin. Bedding to make the couch to a bed is located in the basket next to the TV. Well lit, off road parking is located in the alley, right next to the guest house. Once the booking is confirmed, you will have access to photos of the parking area, entry door, and general directions like how to access the alley). This is my second summer season of hosting!     Second-floor apartment with shared entrance in four-story house, two blocks away from restaurants, stores, coffee shops, and bars of Colorado Avenue in Old Colorado City. Long covered porch facing west with views spanning from Cheyenne Mountain to Garden of the Gods.
    Apartment consists of a greatroom with open kitchen and dining and main bedroom with en suite. Extra bedroom with en suite is off a shared stairwell. Main bedroom has queen bed with new premium mattress, large reach-in closet, dresser, and the en suite has a large walk-in shower. Extra bedroom has double bed with memory foam mattress topper, reach-in closet, dresser, access to the porch, and the en suite has a jetted tub. Every room has a fantastic view of the mountains. Floors are finished concrete with radiant heating you control. Open kitchen has convection oven/microwave, induction cooktop, electric griddle, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, sink, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and basic cooking ingredients (oils, seasonings, condiments). Free parking in the driveway for 1 car (sorry, small hillside driveway). Want to keep your car, bicycles, motorcycles, or gear stored inside? Private garage bay for small extra fee. Well behaved pets welcome, but unfortunately the yard is not fenced. Please refrain from smoking tobacco inside or on porch.
    Walk two blocks to great restaurants, Saturday farmer’s market, coffee shops, parks, and shops of Colorado Avenue. It is the perfect space for just one or two, conveniently located within 2 miles of downtown and close to everything else! Five Star cleaning team trained in disinfecting and sanitation
    We proudly and directly manage a 5 star cleaning team that has been thoroughly coached in disinfection and sanitation. All touch points, surfaces, kitchenware and linens, including upholstery, are being disinfected and sanitized on a routine basis. Our guests' health and safety are our top priority. For Your Comfort We provide WiFi, clean linens, a hair dryer and a steam refresh option on the dryer (in place of an iron.) You also have a washer/dryer and detergent, etc on top of the washer/dryer if you need to do laundry. We also provide a few breakfast items (coffee, tea, creamer.) When you arrive, you will find a detailed guide book with information about the in law apartment and the neighborhood, from restaurants to a 24-hour pharmacy. The Bedroom This room has a queen sized bed with foam mattress & closet with shelving space to store your clothes. The dryer has a steam refresh option, perfect for travelers. The laundry room is in a common area between the back entrance and your private apartment. I may come down into this common area and use the laundry facilities on occasion. Gym - Shared The gym is located off of the shared laundry room. The gym includes a treadmill, elliptical, medicine ball and weights. There is also a flat screen TV available for use with Netflix and Hulu. Back Patio There is also a back patio with a fire pit available for use. The patio is furnished. We often have firewood available for your use. Please text you would like to use the fire pit, as we do not permit on high risk days. Hot tub The hot tub is available on the back patio near the fire pit and the entrance to your apartment. The hot tub has privacy curtains that hang on a pergola around it for your comfort. We also provide beach towels and a bluetooth speaker so that you may enjoy music while you soak. The hot tub uses minerals in place of chlorine for sanitation just like the hot springs in the mountains. Parking There is room for 1 car to park in the driveway. Additional cars must park on the street. (There is plenty of street parking.) Upon walking in from the back patio, you will walk into a shared entryway (that I rarely use as I use another entrance.) Taking the stairs down, you will enter a beautifully finished basement. You will see a door with a keypad which is the entrance to your private apartment. Our modern, sunny guest house, is in the historic, eclectic Old Colorado City/Westside neighborhood and shares the yard with our home that was built in the 1890's.
    **The main house, NOT the guest house, will be under construction so we can have more room for our Foster Kiddos! But the expected noise, and mess is why we are offering lower rates. Please contact us with questions!! Weekday work only*** Welcome to our Fat Squirrel Guest House! This hideaway feels nestled in the trees, with a wonderful large deck for your private use, that you can easily see Pikes Peak (although during the summer, those trees may obscure the view!). Easy off street parking via the alley. The property is shared with our home in the front, and a separate, private, guest space on the ground level beneath you. This property is a great place to feel like you’re part of our Colorado community, in the oldest neighborhood in Colorado Springs. The kitchen has all the basics for your home on the road: Gas stove, microwave, full fridge, small dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender and hopefully any cooking instrument you need. There will be a few condiments and spices available- and some items left by previous guests. If you don't see it, send us a text and we’ll most likely have what you need from the main house. There is coffee and tea to help make mornings a little easier. Towels and linens will be exchanged when you stay more than 5 days. If you need to do a load of laundry we can make arrangements for you to do so in the main house. The bedroom has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, and the daybed/ couch in the main room has everything you need to turn into a twin bed. A smart TV is logged on to Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu (with the HBO channel) ready to go, and a Bluray for watching videos. *Happy Bonus: We just remodeled the bathroom! Because Colorado has pretty mild, non-humid, weather, there is not a central air conditioner for this space.     I love my neighborhood. It's old. It's eclectic. It's full of great people with interesting stories. One house will be a perfectly restored Victorian, the next home needs TLC and has seen better days. On lovely afternoons, folks will be out on their porch or in their yards, happy to chat with people walking their dogs or on their way to dinner and a beer. Like anywhere, be sure to lock your car and not leave valuables visible. If you need, we can arrange to store larger items in the shed. Hopefully you'll love this quirky part of The Springs as much as I do.

It's where the "purple mountain majesties" reside from Katharine Lee Bate's "America the Beautiful". Sit in the living room and take in the magnificent views. 12 months per year, the Fortress at Pike's Peak provides a fantastic getaway for up to 10+ people (can sleep 12 if 4 or more are kids). Every picture of views in the listing was taken from the deck.
    "The Fortress" is a perfect getaway no matter what the season. During the summer, cooler mountain temps provide an oasis from the heat. In the fall the colors change and it continues to be a great base camp for outdoor adventurers. It's a spectacular winter wonderland and always a great place to bring the family for holidays as well as special occasions. It has the best views in the area, some say anywhere, and you don't even have to go outside to see them. Do you see a less expensive place offering the same views from the great room or even from a back deck? It is very unlikely. A nice selection of board games are provided. The wrap around 600 sq ft deck includes gas barbecue and comfortable options for dining or just sitting and taking in the view. Tastefully decorated throughout, carpet, tile and hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings. Very romantic get away for two or perfect for a family reunion of up to 12. Short drives to golf, rafting, great hiking and many great attractions like the Pikes Peak Highway, Royal Gorge Bridge, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, wildlife sanctuaries, and of course the center of Cripple Creek is only 7 miles away. Guides to all attractions available on property and booked guests receive info on whatever they request and expert suggestions.
    One of many amazing features is that you can see the Visitor Center on top of Pikes Peak from the house. There is only one other house close by and that is a full time residence owned by a lovely retired couple who are always helpful and glad to meet new friends. Their home does not hurt the fantastic views in any way.

    Hi, and thanks for looking at my bi-level home located off platte in Colorado Springs! This house is down the road from citadel mall. And not even 10 minutes you will run right through downtown where all of my favorite joints are! Luckily in Colorado springs you won't be driving as far as 20 minutes to get to anywhere you want to go. This is the perfect mini vacation spot and we are almost right in the middle of everything there is. Feel free to ask me any questions, if you have any.
    I try to maintain a clean and organized house. There's 1 bathroom with 1 shower upstairs for guests, 2 available bedrooms upstairs. And an open backyard for when dogs come on vacation too. Washer and dryer are straight down stairs. The Kitchen is upstairs when you walk in and you will have full access to any of these spots. Our fridge is available as well..we TRY to keep an area please feel free to make your own room in there if you must! This is a renters house along with airbnb guest house. Sometimes my downstairs roomies help out while I'm just there in the morning to make sure everything is good to go. Mistakes happen too so don't expect perfection. I am just doing the best I can!!
    There is a neighborhood Walmart in walking distance along with a Subway. And even a citadel shopping center/mall in walking distance. And one of my favorite mexican restaurants Tlaquepaque. There's also black bear diner along with several other nice restaurants in the same shoppinng center. And not far from that you can find Boston market, Thai, and applebees!

Conveniently close to Interstate 25, US Highway 24, and major thoroughfares to nearby installations, Garden of the Gods, 7-Falls, and more. Restaurants nearby. People of all backgrounds are welcome.
    My bedroom and private areas are completely separate from you. We won't cross paths going to the restroom or shower and probably won't even hear each other in the morning or at night. My home is all on one-level with a step up onto the porch or two steps down into the sunken living room.
    We are in central, south-east Colorado Springs. Located next to the Satellite Hotel at Airport and Academy, the hotel is also condos for residents. We enjoy individual privacy in the townhomes adjacent to the hotel. At the entrance to our area is Fire Station 8, you can't miss it. I'm located adjacent to Valley Hi Golf Course, a city-owned golf facility. We are separated from the golf course by a creek, Spring Creek. We have fast food, asian food, hispanic restaurants, steak houses nearby, and 2 miles north the Citadel Mall and Citadel Crossing where there are many kinds of restaurants to suit your taste, including Black Bear Diner, Blackeye Pea, Olive Garden, Joe's Crab Shack, Starbucks, Toma Sushi, and more. We are within two miles of major transportation routes: I-25, US Hwy 24, Colo Hwy 21, and 12 miles to the Colorado Springs Airport. A uniquely quiet street with lots of access to many destinations. You can be at the Broadmoor Hotel, Seven Falls, Garden of the Gods or Manitou Springs within 20 - 30 minutes, or going up Ute Pass 15 miles on US Hwy 24 to Woodland Park and the mountains. By the way, Airport Rd does not go to the commercial airport :D but it does have direct access to the west entrance of Peterson AFB. Academy Blvd will take you north to the Air Force Academy, or south to Fort Carson and Cheyenne Mountain Air Station. US Hwy 24 will take you east to Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB.

    This large basement suite is in a big foothills home on a quiet, 1 block road just below Gold Camp Rd., 1.5 miles from the Broadmoor & Cheyenne Canon. It's 7 min. to Old Colorado City, 12 min. to Manitou & Garden of the Gods. There's a large common area upstairs with a sunroom & big patio with city views. Stunning hiking and ski trails 10 min. away with no stop llights. A nearby bike/walk path takes you to Old Colorado City, Manitou, Garden of the Gods, downtown and sites 3O mi. N&S of town.
    This basement suite includes a 30'x15' fully furnished spacious living room with 32” HD TV (Comcast, HBO, Showtime, WiFi) with a kitchenette/bar, reading area and dining area. There is also a large bedroom and a nice sized bathroom with a shower (you may want to turn on the light in the shower). There is a large refrigerator, a large freezer and a separate walk-in closet and storage area if needed. There is a foldout futon in the living room that acts as a second single bed. If you need a third bed, an air mattress is available for two.

Great hiking, biking, running and nordic ski trails just minutes away. 8. One mile from the city's largest stable, horse back riding trails and the location of the annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo. 9. On the edge of the Pikes National Forest. 10. A very short walk to Bear Creek Park, one of the city's largest parks and community gardens with playing fields, tennis courts and natural trails that give you 35 miles of protected bike and walking trails both north and South of the city and safe trail access to Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, downtown Colorado Springs, the Air Force Academy, Monument, Palmer Lake and Larkspur, where my daughter use to bike to the Renaissance Festival to perform. These trails connect with every bike trail in the city plus there are many mountain biking trails that will take you scores of miles in the forest and to Cripple Creek and Canon City.

    Our studio is light and airy. It is perfect for romantic getaways. The deck is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine while taking in the view. Wonderful full bathroom, full kitchen.
    Our neighborhood is smaller victorians with bungalows mixed in. We have a great biking/walking path just a block away and are within 6 blocks of the Colorado College campus. We are about a 15 block walk to the downtown area that has galleries, restaurants, night life. We are located off an alley and behind our home. It has a private feel.

    The Honeyburyl Hideaway is an 800 square feet space situated in the garden level of our family home. It is closed off with separate access to give guests a completely private suite. Guests may check themselves in through the keyless entry door, and come and go as they please. The space has large windows to bring in lots of Colorado sunshine, and ambient lighting throughout for the evening. It includes 2 comfortable and clean bedrooms. The king bedroom has a TV that streams the most popular channels. The queen bedroom has a comfortable bed and fun kid’s hideout. Each bed-side gets 2 pillows, a personal lamp, an extra throw, and a personal side-table. The large closets include fans, mirrors, hangers, an iron, and children’s amenities. Hot Tub - We recently installed a brand new, 2019 salt water system hot tub for you to enjoy by reservation during your stay! The hot tub is in our fenced in backyard on our back deck, and is shared with our family home. We request that when you arrive you let us walk you through using it and you reserve up to a daily 2 hour block of time to use it before 10PM. (we respect our neighborhood’s sleeping hours.) It has 7 seats with powerful jet options for the back and feet, a waterfall feature, and many lighting choices! This is a space for relaxation only and *no partying.* Heating & Cooling - The suite is appropriately heated and cooled throughout the year. We have central air conditioning and heating in the home, but it is all controlled by a thermostat *not* located in your suite. If you prefer the suite to be warmer, there is a heater provided in the suite for you to adjust. If you prefer it cooler, there are full-sized windows to open, along with ceiling and box fans available. With this being a basement suite, it generally cools off well on Colorado nights, even in the summer. Location - This is an easy to find and convenient location in North Central Colorado Springs! You can hop on I-25 and be at any popular attraction within minutes. With traffic, many attractions take about 2 minutes per mile. You’ll also be surrounded by coffee, shopping, and delicious restaurants. Plus, Cottonwood Creek Park is practically in our backyard for you to take a soothing walk along the creek with a beautiful view of the mountains!     The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and safe! Just down the street is Cottonwood Creek Park and a fantastic view of the front range mountains. We have excellent shopping, restaurants, and attractions a short drive away!

Perfect space for up to 4 (ideal for 2) to rest or just crash after a day of exploring the Colorado Springs area. Wake up and walk out the door to views of Pikes Peak, or get to the top within 45 minutes. 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods and Red Rock Canyon. 10 minutes from the Air Force academy. 15-20 min to UCCS! 90 minutes from the Royal Gorge and SO MUCH MORE!
    A Colorado Springs approved space: #STR-00016 The unit is accessible via a garden entrance. There are several concrete stairs that turn left from the front door of the home, and lead you to the private unit entrance. The basement IS 100% private, but it IS a basement, in a house that is occupied by 7 people (3 of whom have to get out the door for school on weekdays), so though we will be respectful of your presence, do know that you WILL hear us as we are carrying on normal life. For your convenience, we attempt to keep quiet hours from 8pm to 7am whenever possible. If you are planning on being out and about, enjoying Colorado Springs most of the day, this will be a great fit for you, but if you are looking for a space that will be very quiet all day long, this may not be the best fit. This will definitely NOT be the right fit for you if you are looking for a place that is quiet in the mornings. I repeat, there will definitely be 'life noise' in the mornings and all throughout the day. We offer a really nice and comfortable place to stay (check our reviews), but we want to make sure we are up front about this. :) **NOT 420 friendly. If you are found to have pot products on the premises, you will be asked to leave. ** For the health of all of our guests, we like to keep this a FRAGRANCE FREE zone. Please refrain from using strong perfumes, colognes, and other scents while in our basement. These items are unhealthy for all people, but can be extremely toxic to people with sensitivities or allergies.
    The Briargate neighborhood of Colorado Springs offers a lot for families. In the summer there is a new splash pad and jumbo kid friendly park (completed July 2017) 1 mile north. There is a free public BMX park .5mile south at Rampart Park. Just 1 mile south there is a Vietnamese gluten free donut shop which serves THE BEST donuts in Colorado Springs. Lastly, across the street there is a grocery store, Thai restaurant and frozen yogurt store.

    As they say in CoSprings: "West side is the best side!". Old Colorado City has so much charm, and this area of OCC sits on a hill with a great front range view (see that sunset pic!!). You can walk to Roscoe's coffee (.25 mile) or Cerebrus brewing, 503W or Benny's Cafe (.5 mile), the heart of downtown CoSprings is just 1 mile and the middle of OCC's shopping and restaurant district is just 2 miles.

PARKING This beautiful two bedroom home has two off street parking spots, as well as plenty of free street parking. FRONT PORCH Walk up three steps to a small front porch with hammock swing. Enter the home using a convenient August Smartlock. This smart lock offer keyless entry for 24 hour check in. LIVING ROOM This modern living room has a comfortable wrap around couch that can seat the entire family. There is a 60 inch Apple TV with Hulu, Netflix and Sony sound system. Games are available for guests in the end table and a diffuser is also available on top of the end table. The living room has an ac unit in the window. DINING ROOM Off of the living room, you will find a dining room with a dining table that seats five. On the table, you will find a detailed house manual with restaurant and local area suggestions, details about the space and additional information that may be helpful during your stay. BEDROOMS There are two bedrooms located off the living room. Both have brand new, extremely comfortable mattresses and spacious closets. Each bed has a minimum of four pillows so that guests may choose one that best suits them. One has a queen bed and one has a king bed. There is also an AC in one of the bedrooms. KITCHEN There is a coffee maker in the kitchen that also dispenses hot water for tea. We provide tea, coffee, coffee filters, cream, sugar and sugar-free sweetener. You will find a fully loaded kitchen with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. We provide pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, blender and a kettle. Salt and pepper are in shakers in the cabinet over the stove. We provide some beverages and even a few Colorado beers in the fridge which you may enjoy (if you are 21+ of course).   • Ho trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso. La casa e l'arredamento sono affascinanti e non so se sono mai stato in un quartiere più tranquillo. Gli elettrodomestici sono nuovi e i materassi fuori dal mondo sono comodi. L'ampio e bellissimo cortile sul retro mi ha fatto desiderare di aver affittato un animale domestico da portare (scherzando). Sono un po 'solitario, quindi di solito non ho bisogno di molta interazione con i miei ospiti, ma Jacquie è stata grande e pronta nelle sue comunicazioni.     Little Pine is an upgraded Mountain Cottage, comprised of two units (one upstairs and one down), and is a happy in-between of a quiet, canyon getaway and a centrally located space. Just up the Mountain from the Broadmoor Resort, we are close to many local Colorado Springs must see areas and the perfect base for any visit. If you enjoy hiking, mountain biking or running, we are walking distance to a number of trails in Cheyenne Canyon, the Stratton Open Space and Bear Creek Park. We are a 15 min drive to Downtown Colorado Springs. Your space is completely private and is fully equipped. Sitting Area: with a love seat size sofa, TV (cable) Bathroom: Fully stocked bathroom (small stand-up shower), shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Bedroom/Kitchenette : Full size bed, mini-fridge, microwave, sink, breakfast station (griddle, coffee maker & toaster oven), and small breakfast table. Outdoor Space: Off the sitting area space there is a private patio area - perfect for your furry friends ( if approved) - that has a outdoor table and chairs that welcomes in the fresh Colorado mountain air for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Parking and Entrance: Please pay close attention to directions that will be sent the day prior. There is a designated uncovered parking spot. You will enter through a private entrance on the side of the home, to the left of the front door you will use the keyless entry code that will be provide for self check in.   • Questo posto è fantastico. L'arredamento è molto bello. È in una posizione comoda. Le istruzioni di Kerri su come arrivare al cottage sono perfette. ENTER THE CHARMING & MODERN VICTORIAN HOME Enter the home using convenient KEYLESS entry through the door on the front porch. LOUNGE LIVING ROOM You will find yourself in the living room as you enter the house. Enjoy a large, comfy couch and a few chairs for relaxing. The large east facing windows make this room sunny in the morning, making it the perfect spot for sipping your morning coffee. The left side of the TV stand has some games for you to enjoy during your stay. The TV has some live channels via DirectTV and there is also a Blu-ray player and AppleTV, which you can use to login to your accounts on apps like Hulu and Netflix. We provide SlingTV as well, which is an over-the-internet satellite TV provider (ESPN, HGTV, TBS, CNN, TNT, Etc.) so please feel free to use channels available in that app. There are some Blu-rays and DVDs on the top shelf of the bookcase in the back bedroom you may use. SHARE A MEAL IN THE DINING ROOM Through the living room is the dining room, also east facing and a beautifully bright and sunny place to enjoy a meal. There are many books on the shelves for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a window AC in the dining room which does a great job at keeping the whole house cool in our moderate Colorado weather. Feel free to use the up and down arrows to set it to your desired temperature. The drawer of the bar in the dining room has post it notes, pens and some wine tools. FULLY LOADED KITCHEN The kitchen is located through the dining room and is well stocked for making some delicious meals while you are here. The cabinets are all labelled to help you easily find what you are looking for. COFFEE AND TEA: There is a Keurig coffee maker on the counter in the kitchen. We provide K-cups, tea, cream, sugar, and sugar free sweetener. COOKING: We provide salt, pepper and some spices, pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, gas range, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, dishwasher and a kettle. FRIDGE: We provide some beverages and even a few Colorado beers in the fridge for you to enjoy (if you are 21+ of course). CLEANING: There are some cleaning supplies and extra trash bags are under the kitchen sink. There is a broom and dustpan in the laundry room. TWO STYLISH BEDROOMS The front bedroom is off the dining room and the back bedroom is off the kitchen. Both bedrooms have new mattresses, bedding and fresh linens for your comfort. Each bedroom has a spacious closet and shelving for clothing storage. There is a fan in each bedroom closet. There is a humidifier on the shelf in the closet of the front bedroom. There is a monitor on the bookcase in the back bedroom you are welcome to use. The FAST WiFi is located on top of the bookcase in the back bedroom as well. SPARKLING CLEAN BATHROOM We provide fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Q-tips, cotton balls, and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. The bathroom also has a first aid kit and hair dryer under the sink. UPGRADED WASHER/DRYER There is a laundry room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer and we provide some detergent. Other miscellaneous supplies are located in the bins in the laundry room shelf. There is an iron in one of the bins on the white shelf in the laundry room and the ironing board is next to the washer dryer. One of the bins on the white shelf in the laundry room has some cleaning supplies as well. In the back corner of the laundry room there is a cooler you can use and there are some marshmallow roasting sticks as well. One of the bins has grill tools, lighter fluid, a lighter and matches. LOUNGE IN THE BACKYARD FIRE PIT: You are welcome to use the fire pit during your stay, and there are some marshmallow roasting sticks in the back corner of the laundry room. Firewood is not provided, but can be purchased close by. Grill: Please feel free to use the grill on the back patio during your stay. There are grill tools in a bin in the laundry room.     Being in the heart of downtown is amazing. Nearly all the restaurants and trails and parks are within walking distance of this house. Maps and food guides are provided for use during your stay. Also located close to I-25 making it a short drive to everything Colorado Springs has to offer.

  • Questo è stato il soggiorno più piacevole e confortevole di tutto il nostro viaggio! La casa e tutto in essa è di qualità e rende il soggiorno davvero piacevole. Potremmo vivere felicemente lì! Lo spazio è elegante e accattivante con molti oggetti interessanti, opere d'arte e libri. I letti erano davvero comodi con le lenzuola più morbide! C'erano accappatoi morbidi per il nostro uso e persino le pentole in cucina e la lavatrice / asciugatrice erano articoli di buona qualità. Molta cura è stata dedicata a rendere la casa facile da vivere, con etichette sugli armadietti per aiutarti a vedere rapidamente dove cercare oggetti e note sugli elettrodomestici e una cartella completa di aiuto e consigli sulla zona locale. È stato facile da trovare e in un bel quartiere, la comunicazione e l'accesso erano entrambi fantastici. Consiglio vivamente questa casa a chiunque vada a Colorado Springs!

    I’m on a quiet, dead-end street next to a creek. My garden is a wonderful area to relax and feels quite secluded for being in the heart of the city. The house is colorfully painted and cottage-cute. Your host’s photography on display+ works by local artists. The highlight is my earthship-inspired sunroom/greenhouse, which you're welcome to enjoy by day hours. Enjoy the far infared sauna in winter for a relaxing sweat.
    I live in the Shooks Run neighborhood, just east of Colorado College, west of the Olympic Training Center (and Memorial Hospital) and a mile north of downtown. It's a very safe area with nearby walking and biking trails and parks. Nearest cute coffee shops just blocks away.

    Fantastic location near UCCS Campus and some great hiking along Palmer Park off of Austin Bluffs with views of the entire City from Norad all the way along the Front Range to the Air Force Academy. Also nearby are great restaurants, a neighborhood Wal Mart and public transportation.

About the Home This Victorian Era home was built in 1890 and is filled with vintage charm and character. It has been updated and maintained with love but still retains many original features and historic items. Though the home now sits in a cityscape, the original farmhouse charm has been maintained, with a mix of modern and vintage decor. The home is cleaned professionally between each guest. The original built-in cabinets, farmhouse sink, 8 pane sash windows, and craftsman doors are still in place. The interior is open, peaceful, and sunny. The home is a two bedroom residence that sits on a large corner lot, with old trees and lilac bushes that frame the gated yard. The front yard has a wire gate and the backyard has a new six-foot privacy fence. There is a patio area with seating in the large back yard. Spring visits offer blooming lilacs that are great for cutting. The home is cozy, incredibly clean, and very charming. The property is located less than 10 minutes away from Downtown and 3 minutes away from the Olympic Training Center. There are two playgrounds within walking distance. The home is wheelchair accessible with an entry ramp at the back door and handle bars installed in the shower. MAIN ENTRANCE Access the Farmhouse 24/7 using convenient keyless entry. ADT SECURITY The home is equipped with ADT Security for your convenience. The security system panel is located just next to the back door. You are welcome to arm the system both while you are in the home and also when you are out. LIVING & DINING You will find yourself in the living & dining area as you enter the house. Enjoy a brand new, couch (with pull out sleeper) and a large comfy leather chair for relaxing. The TV has Netflix and iHeartRadio but does not have Hulu or other apps. The left side of the TV stand has a DVD player, remote and a few DVDs. There are some magazines in the top right drawer of the TV stand. There are extra blankets in the coffee table. The baskets in the credenza have some children’s items such as books and coloring books. The bottom 2 drawers of the credenza are loaded with games for you to enjoy. There is a phone charging station and a Bluetooth speaker in the tray on top of the credenza for you as well. There is also an essential oil diffuser on top of the credenza and we left you some essential oils to use. PULL OUT COUCH: The pullout couch is a queen size sleeper which is actually very comfortable. HOUSE MANUAL: You will locate a house manual in the living area. In it you will find local area and restaurant attractions, all information about the space, emergency contacts and more! KITCHEN The fully loaded, spacious kitchen is stocked with supplies for preparing your own meals. COFFEE AND TEA: There is a coffee maker on the counter in the kitchen and we provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar, and sugar free sweetener. COOKING: We provide salt, pepper, pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, electric range, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, crock pot, vintage mixer, dishwasher, kettle and more! The master bedroom has a 10” memory foam queen size bed with a private entrance and a small deck off the back side of the house. The bunk room has a wood frame bunk bed with a full-size bed on the lower level and a twin on top. The couch pulls out into a queen-size bed, with extra linens and blankets stored in the bunk room closet. There is an alarm clock in the second drawer of the night stand if you would like to use it. There is a wicker chair on the tiny back porch which is the perfect quiet spot to sip your morning coffee. BATHROOM We provide fresh towels, spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand soap, Q-tips, cotton balls, toothbrushes and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. The hair dryer and a straightener in the baskets on the wood shelf. LAUNDRY There is a compact washing machine and dryer in the home, and laundry detergent is supplied. There is an iron and ironing board in the master bedroom closet. OUTSIDE PATIO: There is a patio with table and chairs in the fenced in back yard for you to enjoy. The property 3 minutes away from the Olympic Training Center, 8 minutes away from downtown Colorado Springs, and17 minutes away from the Colorado Springs airport. Multiple athletes training or competing at the Olympic center reported that the home is the perfect for their needs and proximity to the center.

  • Nel momento in cui arriverete sarete portati in un accogliente cottage della fattoria. Non lasciarti ingannare da "agriturismo", ha tutti i comfort moderni che ti aspetteresti come se fossi a casa. Era affascinante, pulito e ben fornito con le "piccole cose" che potrebbe essere necessario durante il soggiorno. Consiglio vivamente questa gemma nascosta. I proprietari erano cortesi. Hanno rapidamente risposto a tutte le domande che potevo avere. Non vedo l'ora di tornare in futuro.

    Why do we call it the Chicken Coop? Well, when we purchased the property there was an operating chicken coop. The stand-alone cottage is in the rear of the main home, with its own private entrance. It's fully renovated but maintains its rustic charm, with large front windows and skylights to keep it feeling bright. The cozy cottage features comfortable furniture, a reading nook and a kitchenette with toaster oven, coffee maker and hot plate. The tiled bathroom is small but very clean and nice. Outdoors is a nice deck for relaxing in the great Colorado Springs weather.
    The neighborhood is entirely residential. There are a couple of apartment complexes, but it is mostly single-family homes. We appreciate and expect all guests to be respectful of the residential environment so we can stay on good terms with them. The cottage is a peaceful place for a getaway to explore and recharge.

    It would be just to much to list here all what we've done to make you feel at home in this house. This single family house has been recently fully remodeled to give our guests the best value for their money.     This neighborhood is the perfect location for a quiet stay for you and your family. The front yard is facing a cul de sac and the 0.51 acre backyard ends up far above the street level. It gives you probably the best scenic view that is available in Colorado Springs.

You have the lower level of our home: a locked off, private space-2 bdrm w/queen beds, private bath & kitchenette area off the bedrooms (NOT a full kitchen -no stove/sink). We live directly above. Private entrance opens up onto your patio. No living room. Make sure the # of guests in your reservation is accurate. Our standard rate is for 2 guests -$15 extra per person/per night over 2 guests -no exceptions. Permit #0089
    We live directly above on the main level & 3rd floor. However the space has a layout that is perfect for those who desire privacy! You enter through the back using a keypad and head down a short flight of stairs to your rooms. Main bedroom has a queen bed with a memory foam topper, 39" flat screen TV with DirecTV, large closet & dresser, sleeps 2. This room has a portable AC window unit during the summer (no central AC). Next door is your own private bathroom with custom shower. Towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner & bath gel provided. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with brand new mattress/box spring & large closet. Across the hall from the bedrooms in the landing is your small kitchenette area with mini-fridge, toaster, microwave & coffeemaker. You won't be able to cook a gourmet meal but why would you when downtown Tejon St is 1 mile away? Enjoy coffee and tea in the morning. Head back up the stairs that lead to your little oasis - the back deck/patio! The space has comfy chairs & an outdoor couch, new gas grill with side burner, bar & outdoor sound system. In season, enjoy your coffee or a cocktail outside while you enjoy Colorado's amazing weather! If you smoke, this is the place to do it - we don't allow smoking/vaping in the house - but there's plenty of ashtrays outside. Sit back and relax after a long day of hiking, biking, eating or visiting one of the many breweries within a mile of our home!
    The Hillside neighborhood is 1 mile from downtown Colorado Springs. We are one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city filled with hard working long-standing blue-collar residents. Our house is directly across the street from the old Hunt School, one of the oldest schools in the city that ceased operation in 2016. The school is now home to several local non-profits that directly help the neighborhood. Downtown is 1 mile away, where you'll find Tejon St. populated with fantastic restaurants, cafes, breweries, and shopping opportunities. Our home has easy access to anywhere you want to go in and around the Pikes Peak area! Convenient to I-25 and Hwy 24 up to the mountains. US Olympic Training Center 2 miles away, 4 blocks from Memorial Park. Memorial Park is huge - includes Prospect Lake for fishing/swimming beach/boating, playgrounds, INCREDIBLE skateboard park, walking/jogging trails, an Ice Arena and a public pool complex. We love our neighborhood & our neighbors!

  • Julien e Brian hanno la posizione più incredibile a Colorado Springs! La casa era meravigliosamente privata e il patio offriva così tante notti di risate e momenti divertenti. Sono raccomandazioni ai birrifici locali e ai buoni pasti non sono mancati un po '!!     Safe, end-of-street home w/no traffic. Sunny, garden level apt w/ private entrance. Queen bed, & love-seat futon opens to a single comfy bed; private bath; fully stocked kitchen. Organic snacks & breakfast items provided to suit your dietary needs. Yoga mats & essential oils. Please, NO smoking in the apt. Attention to detail & artwork make this bungalow a comfortable, home-like environment. I'm flexible w/ check-in/out times, as I know flights & long drives can be challenging.
    Having lived in this home for many years, I am happy to welcome new friends through Airbnb as a way to share my west side home. I am fortunate to live on a short street which ends at my home; a quiet area. There is ample, safe parking. Upon entering the apt is one small step down, but no stairs or steps in the apt. There is Cable TV & Wi-Fi; Aromatherapy; a nature sound machine; & Yoga mats. There is one queen bed & a comfy loveseat/futon that accommodates one person. So let me know if you need separate sleeping accommodations and I will be most happy to convert it. Apt is warm in the winter (as much heat as you need that you can control) & cool in the summer (no air conditioner, but a fan...cool because of being on garden level). I provide some organic snacks, fruit, coffee, tea & other beverages, filtered water & various organic breakfast items, tailored to your dietary needs, for your convenience. You will enjoy a private patio w/ flowers (spring & summer), garden art, & perhaps some deer & other wildlife that sometimes stroll or take naps in my yard. Also, under "rules" it states that the apt isn't suitable for infants, but it could be, as I've hosted families with infants, and young children & it worked out. We can communicate about that if you are traveling with an infant or a small child. The yard is fenced. Sorry that I am unable to accommodate pets. The apartment is smoke free.
    My west side home is in an older, eclectic area, full of diversity, like many west side neighborhoods in this city. The location is at the end of a short street, with no through traffic: being safe, private and quiet with ample parking. There is a locally owned natural grocer within a short driving distance plus a major super market (King Soopers). The location is also within a very short drive to Downtown Colorado Springs & Old Colorado City...both being chock full of history, boutiques, restaurants, pubs and bistros. Also, it's a short drive to Garden of the Gods; The Broadmoor; Olympic Training Center; the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo; The Pioneer Museum; CS Fine Art Center; city parks; Manitou Springs; Glen Eyrie Castle; The Air Academy and much, much more. There are brochures, a welcome book and other info on many of the attractions, including hiking trails, & night life in CS.

    My favorite room in the house. With the roku tv and all the little details I add to bring this room to life but most if all the bed is very comfortable. Please don't be a stranger in my home. This home does have 2 lovely kitties adopted by 2 past Airbnb guest. I keep lazers in the room if you wish not to be bothered.
    We are close to the mall and downtown with plenty of food to chose on Tejon. The mountains are probably less than 20 minutes away.
    Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with a dog friendly back yard.

  • Il nostro soggiorno ad aprile è stato fantastico! La zona è molto vivace e la casa era molto accogliente. Ci è piaciuto giocare con i gatti e ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio per tutta la nostra visita. Ci piacerebbe molto tornare, soprattutto in parte per l'atmosfera rilassante.
