Updated for Corona Virus Preventive Cleaning: I use Bleach based cleaning products for the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen and a Lysol type disinfectant (Lysol has been sold out for weeks now) in the bedroom, bathroom and all common areas (door knobs, stairs banisters, etc.) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately my work from home days have come to an end. That only means that my weekday check in time will now have to be after 5pm. It will also alter my ability to have check in's as soon as I get home if someone stayed the night before. I'm still willing to work with you to give you an inexpensive airbnb experience with Vega and me in Alexandria City near Washington DC. Thank you for your understanding! Late night same day requests available, but if I'm already in bed I'm sorry but I must decline . My place is simple and always under construction. Currently the basement is being redone (Lighting, painting, etc). An online map tells me I live 5.7 miles from the White House. My dog Vega will ask for your attention. In the room you will find a radio that you can hook to your phone to play your play lists, a small TV in case you need to quietly listen to tv while falling asleep or need the news/weather in the morning. The TV has a Digital over the air antenna that gets most of the network channels. I generally have the dates open up 2 months in advance so my personal planning doesn't overwhelm me, so the farther out future isn't available to book just yet but I am flexible.

The Delray neighborhood of Alexandria City is awesome. The slogan is something like "where Main Street still exists." There are plenty of mom and pop restaurants within walking distance. Sushi, Mexican/Salvadoran, BBQ, Indian, Italian and American cuisine. A few of my favorites are "Streets Market and Cafe", "Los Tias", "Taqueria el Poblano", and "Kaizen Tavern"

Siamo stati benissimo con George e consiglierei la sistemazione a chiunque. Tutto è molto pulito, la casa è ben attrezzata e grazie all'autobus e alla metropolitana si arriva rapidamente a Washington. Ma anche Alessandria stessa ha dei bei caffè per colazione. George è stato molto gentile e alla mano, ha risposto direttamente alla nostra richiesta. Il check-in è stato completamente semplice. La sua cagna Vega è totalmente carina, giocosa e facile da amare :)

Modern basement with private entrance, bathroom and wet bar. 10-15 minute walk to Braddock Metro which is 1 stop away from National Airport and 20 minute ride to downtown DC. Stroll up to historic Del Ray where you will find quaint coffee shops, restaurants and boutique stores. Bike, walk or hop a bus to Old Town Alexandria with its historic charm and beautiful waterfront.

The space is equipped with a wet bar including a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, induction cook top, and other necessities for a small meal. There is a queen bed in the basement. If you need accommodation for more than 2 guests let us know and we can try to work something out. Please be mindful that the bathroom is accessed from the laundry/utility room which is a common space. We go in there from time to time to do laundry or pick up some tools.

This is a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Please be mindful and courteous to our neighbors. It's also less than a half a mile from Del Ray's main street, Mt. Vernon Avenue, where you can find great local businesses of all types.

Il posto di Heba e Nathan era esattamente come descritto. Molto pulito e molti servizi. Dobbiamo cucinare la cena in un pizzico ed estrarre il piano cottura a induzione e la padella. Avevamo anche bisogno di fare un po 'di bucato e la loro lavatrice / asciugatrice è risultata utile. 10/10 ci tornerei.

La posizione era spettacolare! Alexander era molto disponibile e attento ai nostri bisogni. L'appartamento era adorabile e molto pulito. Comodo e pulito con ottimi libri :) Quello che mi è piaciuto di più era quanto fosse privato pur essendo a meno di un isolato dalla strada principale. Anche se stavamo visitando la DC, non vedevamo l'ora di tornare a casa per goderci il quartiere! Visita DON TACOS (raggiungibile a piedi) per uscire da questo mondo di tacos! Siamo stati al posto di Alessandro per due notti. La posizione è fantastica - vicino a due buoni caffè, ristoranti e la metropolitana, è facile da raggiungere ovunque nel centro storico da questo appartamento. Esattamente come previsto! Arrivare un po 'in anticipo per capire il parcheggio, ma ci si aspetta in un ambiente urbano. Non ho avuto problemi di rumore durante il mio soggiorno di due notti durante la settimana. Posizione fantastica nel centro storico. My house is in Historic Old Town Alexandria around 6 blocks from King Street, 12-15 minute walk to King St. metro, and on a bus route. The house is close to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Your room comes with free parking (on the street), your own bathroom, your own entrance, and kitchenette. Ideal for the business traveler, couples on holiday or visiting family in the area. I do not charge a cleaning fee!

It's the entire basement apartment of my small row house. For more privacy, you can close the double french doors separating the bedroom from the living area. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower (1 person at a time), and hands-free motion detected faucet. I provide plenty of towels. There are double kitchen sinks, a small table for two, and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster oven, and Keurig coffee maker. I also provide bottled water and Britta filtered pitcher. You have a 32' smart TV with standard digital antennae channels. Available streaming channels are Netflix, youtube and Pandora. Rest your tired feet in the foot/ankle massage machine. *Parking on my street is free. I mention this because most "hot" locations in the DC metro area require you have to either a permit, pay at the meter or pay for a garage, or parking is only free at night. There is a lot behind my house that belongs to West Marine. You can park there for a few hours but, do not leave your car there overnight.

Very convenient in Old Town Alexandria. King street is around a 7 minute walk. There are many restaurants, shops and historical sites to see. There are 3 bike share stations with under 10 minute walk. One of them is about a block away at the Lee Recreational center. You can take a walk to the Old Town water front and see the Torpedo factory or stroll/bike along the Mount Vernon trail. Jones point park is also easy to walk to and you can see one of boundary stones from when Alexandria was a part of the District of Columbia. The National Harbor, MGM hotel /Casino and Tanger Shopping outlets are a short 5 minute drive over the Wilson Bridge. You can also bike or walk to them as well. George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate is a 18 minute drive. It too can be accessed via the Mount Vernon Trail by bicycle.

Ho scelto principalmente questa posizione perché è a pochi passi dalla Città Vecchia e sembrava piuttosto elegante, quindi ho pensato che fosse una buona scelta. Non mi aspettavo il livello di ospitalità e disponibilità che ho ricevuto da Tiff e Ryan. Sono stati estremamente utili senza essere invasivi e sempre disponibili a gestire rapidamente le esigenze dell'ultimo minuto (mi hanno persino sorpreso con un bicchiere di Gatorade e ibuprofene dopo una notte piuttosto lunga). Vorrei * fortemente * raccomandare di stare con loro e intendere di nuovo in futuro.

Ottima posizione e perfetto per una coppia o un viaggio d'affari. Facile raggiungere a piedi il centro storico di Alessandria e vicino all'autostrada. Ero in città con mio marito per una conferenza di lavoro e il posto di Ryan ci ha dato un facile accesso al National Harbour e tutto il fascino della storica Alessandria. Il parcheggio era facile da trovare e gratuito. Lo spazio era pulito e confortevole. Frigorifero, caffè / Keurig, un sacco di tocchi premurosi in tutto.

Ospite incredibile! La comunicazione è stata veloce e chiara e ho davvero apprezzato la flessibilità. Mi è piaciuto molto il massaggiatore del piede e la stazione del caffè. Questo era uno spazio così carino, perfetto per le coppie o stare da solo. Mi sentivo perfettamente al sicuro nel quartiere e nonostante la pioggia, ho adorato la passeggiata per il centro di Alessandria. Una città così carina! La pressione dell'acqua era un po 'bassa nella doccia, ma forse non avrei funzionato bene. Adoro assolutamente tutto ciò che riguarda lo spazio e la posizione. Grazie!!!

Shopping center right across the street - Chipotle, Dunkin Donuts, Harris Teeter, Aldi, Chinese Takeout, 7-11, gas stations, etc. Beautiful Park and Running Trail less than a 5 minute walk from the condominium. 24 hour gym and sauna available. Outdoor pool open during the summer.

Guests have access to their own private room and a shared bathroom. They may also access common areas in the building such as the gym, sauna, pool, library, laundry room and etc.

We are close to Cameron Station Park, Old Town Alexandria, Pentagon, Crystal City, Rosslyn, and of course Washington DC!

Ho assolutamente AMATO stare nello spazio di Saba! Lo studio era il posto perfetto per me durante la mia visita di 3 giorni e aveva tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno. Il letto è uno dei più comodi in cui abbia mai dormito ed era uno che avresti trovato in un hotel di lusso: un letto queen size che era la fermezza perfetta per me avvolto in lenzuola bianche e morbide che erano morbide e accoglienti .. ..e molti cuscini. Così bello aspettarsi alla fine della giornata! E la posizione .... imbattibile! Sei a pochi passi da TUTTO. Lo chiami e probabilmente sei a soli 5-10 minuti a piedi. Un'esperienza così piacevole. Il monolocale di Saba era perfetto per quello di cui avevo bisogno per il mio soggiorno di una notte ad Alessandria. Il check-in è stato facile e la posizione non potrebbe essere molto meglio per la città vecchia e la metropolitana. L'arte è bella e c'è una cucina completa se ne hai bisogno. There is a k-cup coffee maker in the kitchen, please help yourself. You can log in to your accounts on the TV in your room, but remember to logout at the end of your stay. We LOVE Old Town!! And we chose our home because it's centrally located in the Old Town/Braddock area. Weather and shoes permitting...you can walk EVERYWHERE! There are scores of restaurants, shops, parks, museums and antique stores to explore. Founded by English and Scottish settlers in 1749, Olde Towne is older than the United States! The stately, old homes and streets are beautiful, and a few are even a bit famous. Less than a 10 minute walk from our home is the longest continuously running farmers market in the country (Saturday mornings in front of city hall, 301 King St). Or take the free King St Trolley to the waterfront for oysters, ice cream and a stroll through city history in the breezeway of the old WWII Torpedo Factory (now a community art center). There's always something great to do, or see--or eat--in Old Town!

Il posto di Erin è perfettamente situato nel centro storico. Sei vicino alla stazione Braddock per prendere la metropolitana e una breve passeggiata di 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana di King Street. L'appartamento efficienza è più piccolo di quanto appaia nelle foto ma è abbastanza spazio per due ospiti. Quartiere tranquillo con un letto accogliente e una tv roku. Ritornerei sicuramente.

Questo posto è nel cuore del centro storico. Così tanti ristoranti e cose da fare a pochi passi. Siamo stati qui per un soggiorno molto veloce ma abbiamo approfittato dell'ottimo cibo. Essere animali domestici era un GRANDE vantaggio! Erin è stato così veloce nel rispondere alle domande e il check-in è stato facile. Anche avere un'app a portata di mano che apre la porta è stato grandioso. Nessun tasto di cui preoccuparsi (basta non lasciare il telefono!)

My place is excellent for people who want a no-fuss maximum convience stay at a great price/location. I am located very close to EVERYTHING the Metro/PTO/NSF are all within walking distance, as well as shopping / resteraunts / night life in Oldtown. You can save alot of time & money on ubers/buses by staying at my place. Regardless if you are in D.C. for Business/doing the tourist thing/a couple just wanting to get away for the weekend, you will find my place comfortable & convienent.

You will have your own room on the 2nd floor, the bathroom is next door to your room so it's very convienent. Your room has everything you may need during your stay - Queen bed / Mini-Fridge /Coffe Maker/Toaster/AC/ Heater..so you can keep it as cool or as you like it. I have put a TV in the room since airbnb took these pictures, so you can watch all the amazon video you can handle during your stay.

Old town Alexandria has kind of a small traditional English town feel to it, it's alot of fun to explore for a day or two after you have done the DC thing. People say Alexandria is DC's hidden gem. This is a good home-base for your travels, it's very walkable & one of the safer neighorhoods in the D.C. area / close to the Metro, so if you are going to travel into DC you dont need to transfer at all..just get on the yellow or blue line at king street or braddock road statuons & the metro will take you right into the heart of DC. There are paved bike trails from Old-town Alexandria, to Mount Vernon (10 miles south) and North to D.C. / Arlington. (It's called the Mount Vernon trail, google it) I have a couple bikes you can use for no extra charge if you want to ride around Alexandria or take the trail up to DC. If you are interested in riding around just tell me you would like to use the bikes...

Well designed apartment will wow you with its look and feel. The host believes that the traveler should be able to relax in an appealing living space and enjoy their time while visiting Alexandria and the Metro DC area. Free parking in secure internal garage. The apartment is extremely well located; it is only a 4 minute walk to the Braddock Road Metro station; only 6 blocks to King Street (the main street through Old Town) and 5 blocks to Trader Joes or Harris Teeter grocery stores. The host is a coffee fanatic and enjoys sharing his love of coffee with his guests; you can have normal drip coffee or French press coffee if you prefer. The hosts stocks the kitchen with whole bean coffee at no charge to the guest. Alexandria is a very "walk friendly" neighborhood. Many guests park their car and do not use it again until they depart. The closest grocery stores are either a Harris Teeter or a Trader Joe's. There is a Seven 11 close to the Braddock Road Metro Station only a few minutes by walking. There is a small park across the street where people can just sit and relax, play ping pong, etc. They recently hung attractive lights that provide more light at night in the park area. On the other side of the park is a bike rental area. Scooters are widely available for those who like to scooter.

Animal lovers paradise! Our beautiful farmhouse style row house was just renovated last year. You'll have a private bedroom with a full bed and a beautiful view of the park behind our house. The room has everything you need in it. Our backyard lets out onto a park with walking/biking trails. Our home is close to Del Ray and easy access to DC or Mount Vernon and is just 10 minutes from DCA. We use a lockbox for check in, so you can check in any time after 3pm, even if it's midnight.

Our Joanna Gaines-inspired townhouse is nestled into a cute area just north of Del Ray, a great area in Alexandria. Our newly-renovated kitchen features butcher block counter tops and new appliances that you're welcome to use. Your room is upstairs, and on the opposite end of the house from us. The room has a full sized bed in it, along with a small night stand and table. We provide a little welcome basket with water, snacks, coffee for your individual sized coffee maker in the room, and a lint roller in case you want to love on our animals. The room also has a mirror and blow dryer to make getting ready in the morning easy. We have two cats and a lovely dog. All are very well behaved and friendly and will not be allowed in your private room, unless you invite them in.

Our neighborhood is diverse and beautiful. Four Mile Run Trail literally runs right behind our house. There is plentiful free street parking, you shouldn't ever have terrible finding a spot and we're only 10 minutes from Regan airport.

Mia moglie ed io abbiamo optato per una visita non pianificata per vedere le località turistiche di DC per NewYears ... molto fortunato che Samantha era disponibile per quelle 2 notti. Samantha fu pronta a rispondere e gentile. Siamo d'accordo con tutte le altre recensioni positive ... è un grande valore per tutti gli ospiti (se non avverso a cani e gatti - che erano carini, tranquilli e ben educati). Per tutti coloro che sono super sensibili al rumore, la sera fino a mezzanotte si notano suoni notevoli dai voli dell'aeroporto DCA, ma molto silenziosi. GRAZIE!

Abbiamo usato questa stanza come pernottamento nel caso in cui fossimo stanchi dopo un concerto che siamo andati a tarda notte, quindi ha funzionato perfettamente per noi. Super silenzioso di notte e ottimo per dormire. Letto comodo molto pulito e accogliente in una piccola camera da letto tradizionale e un armadio di buone dimensioni per appendere i vestiti e mettere i tuoi effetti personali. Piccola macchinetta del caffè, bar per la colazione e acqua resi disponibili nella camera da letto che era un bel tocco. Bagno comune. Il parcheggio in strada è gratuito.

Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party, this is not the place for you.

The house is beautifully decorated with light flooding the open layout, from the cathedral ceilinged great room. The modern and well-equiped kitchen overlooks the great room. There is a large dining room with a fireplace. The first bathroom with a traditional tub is right next to the master bedroom. The second bathroom has a modern walk-in shower and is off the great room on the lower level of the house. The patio and deck are right off the great room and are perfect for conversations with friends when the weather is warm.

The house is on a cul-de-sac in a very quiet, charming, safe, residential neighborhood.

La casa di Robert era il posto perfetto per soggiornare nella zona di Washington DC! È così elegante e confortevole. La posizione è in un bellissimo e tranquillo quartiere, vicino ai negozi di alimentari, al centro storico di Alessandria, ea 15 minuti di auto dal National Mall (nel buon traffico). Un Uber a DC costa circa $ 15. I letti erano comodi, la cucina è bella e funzionale. Ritornerei assolutamente qui la prossima volta che sarò a Washington e lo consiglio vivamente! Grazie, Robert!

My place is located in the heart of Del Ray, a charming neighborhood in Alexandria, next to Old Town. This newly finished basement apartment gives you privacy in a charming residential neighborhood that is named one of the best neighborhoods in the country. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Queen sized bed, bath and kitchenette.

This newly renovated basement apartment has a living space, tv in living space and bedroom, kitchen table, bathroom and bedroom with queen sized bed. Kitchenette has a sink, undercounter refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and coffee pot.

The room is on the ground level of the townhouse where we live. It is independent from the rest of the house and features a queen-size bed that accommodates 2 people and a large closet and dresser. The space also features a large living room/den with Apple TV (including Netflix), small fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, a full bath with a shower, and a patio. High ceilings.

You can either take the metro or a bus to go to downtown D.C. in less than 15 minutes. The space is a private room with a comfy queen bed in a two-bedroom apartment in a very amazing location in Old Town Alexandria.

I live by my own in the apartment, but most of the time i'm out of the city because of my work. The room has a very spacious private closet which will be all yours. There is a full bathroom which I will share with you when I’m in the house. The bathroom has a private access from your room. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need for a long-term stay and this includes: full equipped kitchen; dishwasher; washer; dryer; flat TV, telephone; iron; ironing board; hair dryer and other accessories. You are more than welcome to use any equipment or accessory.

Old Town Alexandria is pretty much well-known for its 18th-century buildings and small side streets. King Street is the most famous street in the city with lost of boutiques and worth-a-hunt vintage clothing shops.
