We had a wonderful stay at Nick's family home in Stamford. It was just what we needed and in a great location. Nick and his family were super accommodating and helpful before and after our arrival (even offering to post some clothing we left back to us) Thanks again we definitely recommend!

The Hayloft is the most stunning place to stay! Homely, spacious, and has everything you need for a lovely trip, including lots of cooking equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub and other outside spaces, made all the better by their cute dogs. Geoff, Sarah and their friend Maxine were amazing hosts — they obviously take great pride in hosting people, and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Geoff's homemade coffee ice cream is delicious! The church is right across the road so you might want to bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the church bells, however we didn't get disturbed by them. We actually slept incredibly well in their comfy bed! The surrounding area is also lovely to explore — we'd recommend a local walk along Kings Cliffs railway path, and a trip to the Finch's Arms pub and Rutland water in general. We hope to come back soon!

Natalia was an amazing host, always readily available for questions or advice. The hut was super clean, cosy and with the most amazing views. We made great use of the hot tub and it stayed warm until the morning after! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. We ate at the Wheatsheaf pub - 10 minute drive away and Rutland nursery-10 minute walk away. Both amazing food and would recommend to anyone visiting. We also hired bikes from Rutland water and cycled round for 2 hours- took us 15 minutes to drive to the bike hire area in whitwell from the Hide. All in all, fab hosts and amazing accommodation with lots to do around the area. Will definitely be coming back!

Right from the off Craig was friendly when booking his place. We arrived and couldn't believe how amazing the place was, it had everything we needed for a nice few days away, we literally only needed food and drink. There was a welcome basket with some sweets and a bottle of fizz which was a really nice touch and appreciated. It had a massive TV and good WiFi which was one of the things we needed to watch the sports event and the hot tub and outdoor area was spot on. I could have quite happily stayed longer without having to go back to reality. Already planning our return visit next year.

Louise accommodation is lovely and in clean. It very quite so great if you want to get away. There were slight issues with the WiFi. Louise was very helpful and responded to all our requests. Would highly recommend.

I loved it so much I have booked to go again, disappointed that the prices are higher. However it was the perfect break that I needed.
