The Cottage in East Poultney

The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney next to the old Poultney schoolhouse (now historical society). Slate Valley hiking/bike trails surround the area. About 1 mile to the town of Poultney, which has stores, shops, restaurants and a Pub. The sidewalk starts in front of the cottage which leads directly to town. Great for a walk, jog or bike ride. Pico, Killington and Bromley Mountains all less than an hour drive. 3 miles away from Lake St Catherine and under 10 miles to Lake Bomoseen.

Stay with us if you’d like to be in the center of downtown Castleton. Stores, restaurants, the college and hike/bike rail trail are an easy walk. This is a very convenient location. We are also a short 30-40 minute drive to Pico and Killington ski areas. Five minutes to Lake Bomoseen. Recently updated, heat and AC, full bath, Wi-Fi, Qled tv, a comfortable king sized memory foam bed, a complete kitchenette. Reserved parking adjacent to entry. Everything you need for an overnight or longer stay

East Cabin

The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the beautiful Green Mountains of VT and the gorgeous Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. For the winter season, there are many major ski resorts close by. We also have the West Cabin available for your extended family and friends.

Moon Valley Country Retreat no clean fee pets yes

Unique centrally located, peaceful country chalet between the Adirondack and Green Mountains on 60 acres. Starlink available if your phone doesn't work here. Near Lk George, Lk Champlain, & VT. Hike, fish, swim nearby. Air conditioners on the main floor for the summer months. Our 9120 watt solar array powers our property. During the cold months enjoy the wood stove. All wheel drive a must in winter. We have a spacious deck by the shared pool, pergola, and a shady deck by the stream.

Either way you’ll find tons of great outdoor activities & hiking, and lots of local shops and restaurants.

Hillside Cottage @ The Mettawee Retreat

The Hillside Cottage is a luxury cabin with views of the Mettawee River. Located on 26 acres on a back road, it is peaceful & private. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking or relax on the deck. This riverside retreat includes a king bed, jacuzzi tub & a kitchenette. Sitting around the fire pit with dinner cooked on the grill is the perfect ending to a long hike. Whether it’s a quick get-away or an extended vacation, the Hillside Cottage is a simple solution from a complicated life.

Bright, secluded, second floor one room suite with private bathroom overlooking Mill River and across a covered bridge. No neighbors visible, but near town. Fly fish in the back yard, sit around the firepit, enjoy fall foliage, and hike and ski. Swinging bridge and Appalachia long trail very nearby. Close to three ski resorts: Killington, Okemo, and Pico. Dogs are welcome and loved, with plenty of room to run. Comfortable queen-sized bed and couch.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. This studio apartment is perfect for the solo traveller or couple. The queen bed is super comfy. Brand new and renovated throughout. The kitchen is stocked for basic cooking. I'll make sure there is always coffee and cream for you. Pets are welcome if they do not get up on the furniture. It's easy access to downtown Rutland to enjoy yoga studios, restaurants, and coffee shops.

Conveniently located near the top ski and mountain bike attractions, incredible trails, resorts, and the towns of Woodstock, Middlebury, Killington, Pico, and Rutland. This historic property has been in existence since 1832 and has been lovingly maintained with a backdrop of the Adirondacks beyond the picturesque pasture. This one bedroom apartment is located downstairs in the two story duplex.

You can see the stars from your Bed at Night - Studio space with a private entrance located on the quiet eastern end of our house. Twelve foot window provides spectacular views of Bird Mountain, & Killington, Pico Castleton is located in a great central location which acts as a great launching point for Lake Bomoseen , Killington / Pico Resort , or exploring the state
