Round Lake: soggiorni in cottage

I respect your decision. This location was a gem that I didn’t even know existed. It was our first time up in the UP and we’ve never stayed up there and we found this place on Airbnb and it was so cute clean super comfortable had a great view of a frozen lake. We had the opportunity to go on the trails from our location which was real easy. It’s conveniently located in an area where there’s some small restaurants grocery stores in Little markets. We had a great time and will be reaching out again if we come out.

We had a wonderful stay here this last weekend. There are five cabins hidden on a beautiful lake, we got lucky and got the cabin closest to the water. The property is well-maintained and offers lots of stuff to do, like firepits, boats and a clean hot tub. The property itself is very private with a good amount of trails nearby, super quiet and quaint. I highly recommend sitting at the end of the dock in the morning and listening to the birds—there are so many! The cabin was clean when we arrived, and actually bigger than I excepted it to be from the pictures. The beds are so comfortable (normally I have a hard time sleeping in strange places but here I was out like a light!) and the hot water stays hot (yay!). The kitchen has a retro charm, there’s also a large TV and board games inside. We had a problem with the lock on our door, and both owners arrived immediately to help us. They were very kind and took care of the problem for us. Thank you again for a fantastic, recharging time!

Although our stay at the cabin was a little cramped for 6 adults, it was perfect for what we needed. There is a grocery store nearby for all food needs, and bigger cities like Marquette are only an hour away. There are many waterfalls within 30 minutes that are easy access. Most amenities are provided (pots, pans, dishes) and there are some boats for the lake for the cabins. The cabin did have towels for showering, but I would bring your own for the lake and hot tub. One thing to note is the GPS does not take you to the right location, rather it takes you to a personal property down the road. Be cautious of the street addresses. There is also a non-grounded electrical cord in the coffee bar drawer for all grounded cords.

In general, I really liked everything 🥹 The hot tub is just great 😍 Everything is clean and tidy, Jacqueline was very quick and clear in responding to messages. We had a problem with a tree falling on the road and no access to the house, but George fixed it literally 5 minutes after I messaged him. The only thing that was a bit of a disadvantage was the condition of the kitchen, in my opinion, it needs a little repair. But in general, this did not interfere with our vacation, so we were satisfied and I can confidently recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to be alone with nature. This place is really worth a visit!😊

A beautiful cabin and place to stay to relax and unwind and get away. cabin was clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. was very grateful to be able to bring my friends service dog without a massive cleaning upcharge.

The place was great. We came for the purpose of snowmobiling. We were able to drive the sled right onto the lake from the property and take to the trails right off the lake. It was a very peaceful and beautiful spot, being right on the lake. It was very private and quiet. Only draw back we felt was that the cookware and silverware could have been better, but that would be the only thing I would have changed. Would definitely come back and would recommend the place to anyone.

We had a great stay at this lake cottage. It was right on the lake and had everything you need to enjoy a lake getaway. It’s a good central location to Pictured Rocks and Tahquenomen Falls as well as other hiking and outdoor activities. Nice deck with outdoor furniture, grill and fire pit, all overlooking the lake!

My wife and I enjoyed the cabin with our dogs. The river was nice and made for a peaceful setting as well as the dogs loved playing in the river. Everything was clean when we showed up and James was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking the cabin again.

My husband, toddler, dog, and I loved our stay here. The sunsets here were so beautiful! The cottage felt like home & all the antique decor added so much charm. Check in was easy & Alexandra provided a lot of information on what to do in Door County.

What a cool location my wife and I made it up for a couple of days for our 20th anniversary and it was just what the doctor ordered.

April’s place was exactly as described! So peaceful and tranquil. Very clean and extremely comfortable bed! It was nice to “disconnect” while there. Would definitely recommend!!! 5⭐️’s

We've stayed at Heather's properties multiple times. She is an amazing host and she makes sure our stay is like being "home"! Heather's properties allows our family to be all under one roof and be closer to relatives in the area. We couldn't ask for anything more.

My husband, kid, and dogs stayed here in February during the winter and fell in love! The house was super clean, Megan was super responsive, and the location could not have been better. Just 2 miles down the road from UP lodge with great food and 30 minutes from Marquette. Though I honestly enjoyed just being at the house and skiing on the dirt roads around it. Would absolutely stay here again.

I was looking for the place that would feel like home away from home where my entire family (fur babies included) and I could unwind, relax, and enjoy time together the weekend of my first marathon. This place was perfect. Kayaking was so much fun, the spacious kitchen made dinner times and breakfasts so special, and my doggo loooooved swimming, running around and going on walks. Even my cat felt right at home! It really felt like home. The amenities were also a great plus. It was my mom’s first time in an Airbnb, and she was so impressed with absolutely everything. Thank you Charlie and Shelly!! Everything was perfect. ☺️❤️

Not my first stay at Twin Pines. Won’t be my last. Great location and property is well kept. House rules and instructions for the stay are clearly stated and very reasonable. Seney is a great destination for outdoor fun!

My trip was exactly what I was looking for; peaceful and quiet. Even though the location is remote, with Kelsey's directions I had no problems finding it. I hope to come back in the summer!

This Airbnb was absolutely incredible! The cottage was spotless and beautifully designed, with a spacious yet cozy feel that made us feel right at home. The backyard was a dream—gorgeous views and a river running through it, creating a peaceful, picture-perfect setting. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, and the beds were quite comfortable. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like fans in every room, along with plenty of blankets and towels, coffee etc. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and serene, and it was such a bonus to have the lake just down the road. This place truly has everything you could want in an Airbnb when it comes to comfort and relaxation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My best friend and I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in the area, and we both agreed this was our favorite. The view from the deck is so gorgeous, and a great way to start your morning. The place was clean and stocked with anything we could have needed. All communication was very clear, and we felt prepared for our arrival and departure. We came to the captain's house for Christmas to be near my son who is stationed in the coast guard in Marquette. He could walk to our Airbnb from the station. The house was perfect for 6 people, gorgeous view of Lake Superior. We loved that we could walk out the front door and hike around the trails and see the everything. You can walk to downtown Marquette very easily. We didn't because it was so cold but you definitely could. The house has everything you need to cook in the kitchen, some spices etc. We bought sleds at Target and there's a hill in the yard that's perfect for the kids to sled down. Great house, great views. We will be back next visit!
