We had an amazing few days at the most beautiful location and house! The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with all requests. The house was beautiful and fitted our three families perfectly. The location couldn't be better, and the kids loved riding their bikes out front and walk down to the playground. We loved being able to swim right at the doorstep and jump on the boat with ease. An amazing place!

This is a beautiful place located on the gorgeous Farm just outside of Rotorua, New Zealand. Everything was super clean, well organized and place was beautiful. I just hate when AirbnB like this only allow 3 nights and won't bend the rules for a two night stop or try and accommodate somehow. We only stayed two and got charged for three so just beware.

The house and location was perfect. It was away from the busy parts of Rotorua so that my family and I cam enjoy the peace. The view of the lake was magnificent! Will be back again

Lovely place to stay. We enjoyed the deck and view out over the lake and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Communication with Kylie was quick and easy.

Everything was absolutley spotless. The house felt so welcoming and we slept so well in the beds. Super comfortable mattresses and beautiful linen. Carpets felt like they were brand new. Anne was so kind and was happy to be there if we needed her. She made our 5 year old daughter feel at home. My daughter loved the presence of the animals on the property and the swings and trampoline were a pleasant surprise for her. We feel like we didn’t have enough time in Rotorua so plan to come back again one day and won’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is an incredible Bach! It’s warm, comfy, clean and well stocked with everything you could ever need for a great holiday. Waking up and kayaking across the lake, followed by a spa with the most amazing view was such a highlight of the trip! We visited Okere Falls and the Okere Store which did lovely food and craft beer too. We’ll definitely be back!

Close to water, big and spacious. Well equipped for air BNB. our youngest loved the bunk bed room and the space invaders. We loved the games room. Only one usable pool cue though. Rotorua is cold this time of year so was grateful for a fireplace.

Geraldine’s house was gorgeous. On arrival we were absolutely blown away by the location and her beautiful home. So many lovely welcoming touches like the stereo playing, lovely scented fragrances, freshly baked cake, coffee pods, chocolates and delicious breakfast goodies in the fridge which we weren’t expecting. We felt at home immediately. An abundance of firewood was also available to light the fire which made the house very cosy. On the morning of our departure, Geraldine messaged us to offer a complimentary late check out which we greatly very appreciated. We had a wonderful time in Rotorua and Geraldine’s home was the icing on the cake. We look forward to returning again one day.

Staying at Lucy's was like being in a dream. The perfect, idyllic, lakeside Kiwi-bach, this place matches all descriptions and photos. This place has everything - from a cozy fireplace, to kayaks to explore the lake and a modern bathroom, our family absolutely enjoyed staying here. There was a lot to do and keep yourself entertained with, we didn't struggle with having no wifi. The location is great, only 30 minutes to Rotorua and a lot of places to sightsee on the way there. The only downside of this place is that since it's close to the road there is some traffic noise, especially when big trucks go by. It wasn't an issue for us when staying there since we're city dwellers and accompanied to traffic noise, but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs.

The whole stay was amazing such lovely views and comphy accomodation. The lake views in the mornings were stunning . We enjoyed our barbecue meals and the children loved using the bikes thank you.

The most caring host I’ve ever dealt with on Airbnb, very understanding and kind, this will be the only place I’ll come back to stay at when I’m back with my family in Rotorua, next time my wife will do all the booking ;) lol

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

Such a great property for a large family to enjoy the simple things. Photos are accurate and place is exactly as described. The reserve next door makes you feel like you have an even larger backyard. Great walks near by, easy access to lake a short walk or 2 minute drive away. Friendly and responsive hosts. Our 2nd time here and will visit again.

This is a fantastic place to stay with all you need. Great indoor, outdoor living. Beautiful lake and easy home for all to enjoy. Lynley was very responsive and accommodating and we’d happily recommend and stay again.

Great old school batch that felt very chill. Awesome to get to use the kayaks and lovely walks nearby. Added bonus was the toy box and the box of duplo which made the stay so much easier with the kids!

Had a lovely couple of nights at this idyllic location by the water. Weather was perfect which made it even better. Glorious sunsets and only a quick drive to Rotorua.

The place was absolutely beautiful, would definitely stay there again! It had everything we needed plus more, the hot tub was really nice. Greg was very helpful the entire time too

looking for peace & to switch off from the pressures of city life for a night or two then this is the place for you, Fantastic scenery, private & the option of 3 different rooms. you can hire all 3 and it would be an awesome get away for family or a group of friends. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two shared facilities which were only a couple of meters away in the stockyard shed.All clean safe and great hot shower too! We had the best sleep ever! It is off the grid but the solar power was more than enough for basic power, lighting,charging devices etc.Cell phone reception is patchy but a few steps up to the barn and you well connected to the world again. (also being semi disconnected added to the charm of the place.) Bring all your own food & drinks + maybe a board game or 2 and really just enjoy the awesome spot without having to venture into town &relax. bonus is the use of a private boat ramp, we had our 2 jetskis and had an amazing time exporting the lake

We stayed for almost a week as a family of four. This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The Pods were immaculate, exactly as described. The location is fantastic, the view is incredible, there is lots to see and do, and it is very peaceful. We jumped off the rock, went to the squeeze and the baths and stopped in for coffee at Orakei Korako. All magical locations. A short kayak to Paradise Hot Spring a hidden gem. Sherrie & Mark are wonderful hosts, and we will definitely be back.
