We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Great to have this accommodation in the town, Boyle is a great town, friendly people, interesting history, heritage, good food and friendly local pubs and Christine’s place is in a great location to explore it all, thanks

very spacious apartment had everything we needed. had washe dryer. shower took some manipulation to get temperature right. Kitchen dining and living room was private which was appreciated. Should have more cutelry we would gladly return

Lovely spot, we went out on a boat on the river Shannon for the day but came back to a lovely clean and comfortable stay at the apartment. Directly across from Keenan’s bar and restaurant and lovely food.

The property was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a home from home stay. The host was extremely helpful and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend!

We used google maps to route to Hanleys Marina but unfortunately did not receive the arrival instructions so we didn't know which buttons to press at the gate. Eventually the Marina gate opened and we found a fellow inside to call our host. Someone came over right away to help us access the property. Since I didn't have an Irish phone number, they lent us a phone to call and open the main gate as we came and went. This airbnb was spacious and modern. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed to make a light meal, the laundry was efficient, and we loved watching the DVDs. It's within 10 minutes walk of groceries and restaurants. Overall, a fantastic stay and I'd definitely book again!

A group of mums and kids (age 6-11) had a fabulous stay. The house is perfect for a group or large family. The house was perfectly set up with lots of amenities in the kitchen so we were able to cook proper meals. The garden was great for the kids. The area had a lot of places to visit though would recommend having a car as the house is a little way from pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted by Sean’s wife a Ava lovely peat fire. She explained how everything worked. The cottage was clean and well stocked with all necessary. All 6 of us were happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

my family and I had a lovely stay here. The house was clean and beautiful..... even better than the pictures! It was very private and peaceful. The host was excellent to work with and very friendly.

We’ve just spent 5 fantastic days staying with John & Maura. We are a family of 4, two young girls 6-3yo. The property was ideal for us, kitchen had everything we needed and a nice court yard to eat outside in the evening. There’s a games room that we spent time in each night and played basketball on the tennis court which we loved doing. We did loads in the time we were here, travelling by car is easy and accessible. (Gills pub locally, made us feel at home for a few Guinness and bet on the horses) Isle of Arran and bike hire is a must Salthill beach and swimming baths are great Corofin Gaa was a great recommendation by the owners if you want to watch some local sport Galway was lively, loads of live music and good food. (Magpie is worth the queue) And lastly mini the dog, my daughters wanted to bring her home….just rub her belly. Thanks for great trip, we’ll be back. Michael Heather Ada Nina

We asked several questions prior to our arrival and Tanya was very prompt and helpful. John was there to greet us (despite us arriving early), we had a lovely warm welcome and John ensured we knew how we could contact him if need be.

We had the best stay at this property, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and spectacular home. The property is very special and absolutely beautiful. Lovely pub 3 minute drive up the road that serves nice food. Serena was so helpful and proactive in contacting us with instructions and Mary was so nice and lovely. Absolutely will be returning to this property again.

We had a great stay at David's place. It is a comfortable house with 3 bedrooms which is really handy for family with kids. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, although we decided to eat most of the time at the hotel restaurant which is very handy and just next door + with great facilities (restaurant, pool etc.)

Darina is a fantastic host, always responsive and always helpful. The location is amazing, you can't get any better and the kitchen/living room are very spacious. We would highly recommend Darina's place for your stay in Carrick on Shannon.

What a find. this apartment is very central and you can walk everywhere in the town from it. the apartment is really big and well laid out. everything was spotless. there were lots of nice touches like lots of cold bottled water in the fridge, some snacks on the counter, and nice furnishings. we were a big group but it was a great size for the 7 of us. I highly recommend this place and I'd love to come back again.

Great location, not too far from the centre. It was close enough for us to stroll into the centre for a couple of drinks and walked back. Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. All the little extras were a nice surprise too, thank you!

Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

Ich war fast 2 Wochen bei Thomas & Joan und ihren beiden bezaubernden Töchtern. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und gemütlich und das Bett sehr komfortabel, die Bettwäsche unglaublich weich. Das Bad klein, aber sehr sauber. Tageslicht und Fenster. In der Küche stehen Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Toaster zur Verfügung, sowie 2 Kochplatten. Außerdem steht die Waschmaschine und ein Trockner zur Verfügung, diese Geräte werden von der Familie ebenfalls benutzt, aber immer nur während meiner Abwesenheit. Die Wohnräume zur Familie sind direkt nebenan, aber die Privatsphäre wird sehr geachtet. Es gibt einen separaten Eingang zur Wohnung. Ich habe diverse Ausflüge von hier aus unternommen und bin immer wieder gerne in meine ruhige Unterkunft zurückgefahren. Ein eigenes Auto ist essentiell in dieser ländlichen Gegend. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt bei dieser herzlichen Familie und komme gerne wieder.
