THE HOUSE IS REACHED WALKING THROUGH A MOUNTAIN PATH (SOMETIMES UPHILL) OF NO MORE THEN 10/15 MINUTES; for this reason you should not take with you big suitcases but backpacks or shoulders bags.
THE WATER IN THE HOUSE IS NOT DRINKING.
IT WOULD BE BETTER TO COME WITH A CAR.
AQUEDUCT WATER MAY BE MISSING FOR A WHILE; IN THAT CASE YOU CAN STILL USE TANK WATER FOR TAKING A SHOWER OR FOR DOING THE WASHING UP.
Once you reach home you will relax yourself in the three terraces which offer a superb view of the sea in a TOTAL PRIVACY.
The house is set in the National Park of the Five Lands (5 Terre) in an area classified by Unesco as World Heritage Site and is composed of a living room with a kitchen, TV, internet Wi-Fi and a fireplace, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a two-persons bed and a bunk bed.
Externally there are three terraces: one with outdoor shower, one located on the roof of the house where there are two sunbeds and one with a wood oven and barbecue; you can shade this last terrace with three roll-up sheets.
After dinner your eyes will enjoy the unique sight of the moon reflected on the sea, your ears the gentle chirping of crickets and the warm air will lead to your nostrils the poignant smells of the Mediterranean forest.
The house “La Volpe e l'Uva” is located in Fossola di Tramonti, 8 kilometres from La Spezia and 5 kilometres from Riomaggiore.
On arrival you will be given a pass and a remote control for opening an automatic barrier so it will be possible for you to access and free parking in a private street by exposing the pass on the dashboard of the car.

LA CASA SI RAGGIUNGE A PIEDI TRAMITE UN SENTIERO DI MONTAGNA IN SALITA DI NON PIU' DI 10/15 MINUTI; conviene quindi non utilizzare trolley bensì zaini o borsoni a tracolla.
L' ACQUA IN CASA NON E' POTABILE.
E' CONSIGLIATO VENIRE CON UNA MACCHINA.
QUALCHE VOLTA L'ACQUA DELL' ACQUEDOTTO PUÒ VENIRE A MANCARE PER BREVI PERIODI; IN QUEL CASO POTETE COMUNQUE USARE DELL' ACQUA DI CISTERNA PER FARE LA DOCCIA E LAVARE I PIATTI.
Una volta a casa potrete rilassarvi nelle tre terrazze da cui si gode una superba vista mare nella più TOTALE PRIVACY e tranquillità.
La casa è inserita nel Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre in un territorio classificato dall'Unesco Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità ed è composta da un soggiorno con cucina attrezzata, TV, internet Wi-Fi, camino, un bagno con doccia e una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale ed un letto a castello.
Esternamente ci sono tre terrazze; una dotata di una doccia esterna, una situata sul tetto della casa dove si trovano due sedie sdraio e una dotata di forno a legna e barbecue; questa ultima terrazza si può ombreggiare con tre teli avvolgibili.
Dopo cena i vostri occhi godranno dello spettacolo unico della luna riflessa sul mare, le vostre orecchie del gentile canto dei grilli e l'aria tiepida porterà alle vostre narici gli struggenti aromi della macchia mediterranea.
La casa si trova in località Fossola di Tramonti a 8 Km da La Spezia e a 5 Km da Riomaggiore.
Al vostro arrivo vi verrà fornito un telecomando con il quale controllare l'apertura di una sbarra e poter così accedere e parcheggiare gratuitamente in una strada privata esponendo un pass sul cruscotto della macchina.

Alternatevely you can write Riomaggiore in the GPS "town" section and Fossola in the GPS "street" section.
Once in the city of La Spezia follow the signs to Portovenere and Cinque Terre. So after few minutes you reach a junction where on the left you proceed towards Portovenere while going straight you proceed towards Cinque Terre: you have to go straight down the uphill road towards Cinque Terre (Litoranea road).
After eight kilometres take a long tunnel; just out the tunnel on the left there is a large open space where we will be waiting for you for the check in.
After parked the car we will accompany you to the house across the path; for this reason you should not take with you trolley but shoulders bags or backpacks. For the same reason we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes. Do not forget to bring with you an ELECTRIC TORCH to walk the path in the dark if you were to go out in the night!

In alternativa potete inserire nella sezione "città" del GPS Riomaggiore e nella sezione "strada" del GPS Fossola.
Una volta arrivati nella città di La Spezia bisogna seguire le indicazioni per Portovenere e le 5 Terre.
Ad un certo punto si arriva ad un bivio dove a sinistra si procede in direzione Portovenere mentre andando dritto si procede in direzione 5 Terre. Bisogna proseguire dritto lungo la strada in salita (strada Litoranea) in direzione 5 Terre.
Dopo 8 Km si imbocca una lunga galleria: appena usciti dalla galleria sulla sinistra trovate un grosso spiazzo dove saremo ad aspettarvi per il check in.
Dopo aver parcheggiato la macchina vi condurremo alla casa attraverso il sentiero; per questo motivo vi consigliamo di non portare valigie trolley bensì borsoni a tracolla o zaini.
Sempre per lo stesso motivo vi consigliamo di indossare scarpe comode.
Non dimenticate di portare con voi una TORCIA ELETTRICA per poter percorrere il sentiero al buio nel caso doveste uscirete la sera!
