Only 15 minutes away from the Split Airport, Our fully equipped, luxurious front-line villa, consists of 5 rooms, 5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, sauna, gym and BBQ area.

It has free private parking and provides everything for a enjoyable holiday with the pool just few meters from the sea. Recommended to all who want to enjoy superb sea views, sunrises and tranquility.

With 247m2 and 4+1 bedrooms, this luxury villa can accommodate 10 (8+2) . On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with an exit to the terrace with a beautiful Sea view, infinity swimming pool and barbecue area. Ground floor includes sauna, shower place and small toilet. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each includes own bathroom balcony access with sea view. Small gym is also located on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor two rooms with own bathroom each has balcony and beautiful sea view. Spare room with double bed is also located on the same floor. Behind house is parking space for three cars.

Villa Marina is situated in the lovely coastal village with a couple of shops and very nice restaurants. If you need a table for a group, sometimes reservations are required. The post office is situated in the center of the village. Open Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. Telephone and internet facilities are available in the Marina. There are also small exchange offices in town offering a better exchange rate than the bank, open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. The place Marina has few, bars, supermarket and money exchange office. There is no gas station at the Marina. There is an ATM in front of Sunsail office at the Marina Agana.

Driving Instructions to the Villa Marina:

From Zagreb take the motorway (A1) towards Zadar /Sibenik/Split.
After Zadar, turn off at the Sibenik exit. Continue on the coast road towards Primosten. Vills Marina is located approx 20km south of Primosten. Total journey time, approx 4hrs.
From Split take the coast road signed to Sibenik. Pass Trogir, drive 10km in North direction and you will see a small village called Marina.
Parking spaces are available. No responsibility can be taken for anything that happens to vehicles using the car villas parking spaces. The cost for parking is free.

Arrival & Departure

Time difference
Standard time zone in Croatia is UTC/GMT +1 hour.
Normally luggage allowance is 20kg per person (except low cost companies). Only one item of hand luggage per person is allowed and this must not weigh more than 5kg. For storage aboard we recommend traveling light and using folding luggage.
Lost or damaged luggage while flying is the responsibility of the airline and is not covered by your travel insurance. You must not include in Checked Baggage money, jewellery, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable papers, securities or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents or samples.
If an incident occurs, immediately report it to airport official. Claims will not be considered once you have left the airport.
Alcohol may be taken but only in checked luggage (well secured from breakages) not as hand luggage due to airport security restrictions.
Split Airport (SPU) also known as Resnik is located on the Adriatic coast, 6km (4 miles) from Trogir to the west and Kastela to the east and 25km (15.5 miles) from Split to the southeast.
Airport Facilities: Money exchange office, ATM, Bank, Post Office, Duty-Free, Coffee shop, snack bars, VIP lounge and Business lounge. A taxi rank can be found by leaving the arrivals hall via the main exit.
Check your duty free allowance in the duty free guide available on the flight.
You can request us to arrange transfers for you (subject to payment) or you can organise your own taxi at the airport.
Passport and Visas
Please ensure your passport is valid for the period of travel and for six months after you return.
Your passport name must match the name on the flight ticket otherwise you may not be able to travel and insurance may be invalid.
It is the responsibility of each individual to ensure relevant visas are obtained where necessary. Owners cannot be held responsible for refusal of entry or travel due to lack of visas. If you are in any doubt please contact your Embassy for full details.

Customs and Immigration
Before leaving the airport you will have to clear Customs and Immigration. Customs and Immigration do work on a spot check basis.
Arrival Day
The villa will be ready at 16:00hrs on day of arrival. Early arrivals are not allowed unless guests that are checking out before your arrival, leave earlier.
On departure
Departure has to be until 10:00 AM. Please let us know if you have encountered any problems or if anything was broken during the stay, this enables us to rectify problems for the next guests.
Throughout this area you will experience great cuisine combined with roman architecture and contrasting fishing villages.
Banks & Money Exchange

The official unit of currency is Kuna (KN). You can exchange money at the departure airport, but the exchange rate is often better once you are in Croatia.
Open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 noon Saturday.
There are ATMs on most of the islands. Traveler’s checks are not readily accepted.
The closest banks are in Trogir.
Cash can be exchanged at banks, post offices, exchange offices, travel agencies, marina offices and hotels. There are many small exchange offices in town offering a better exchange rate than the bank. They are open from 8am to 8pm..
Post Office
The post office is situated in the center of the town. Open Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm.
Credit Card Information
Visa and Mastercard are accepted in larger towns and on some islands but it is advisable to have cash to pay for meals.
Please Note: Bases are unable to accept personal checks and cannot give cash back on credit or debit cards.
Cost of living in Croatia
On average the cost of living in Croatia is approximately 25% less than the US, however imported and branded goods are often more expensive.
There are restaurants close to the villa with a wide selection of menus at various prices. Freshly caught local seafood is very popular.
Tipping in Croatia is sill becoming more commonplace, especially in upscale restaurants. In the past, tipping was welcome but not expected. Today, however, in newer, upscale places, an extra 10% or 15% is considered polite.
Supermarkets are situated a short walk away from the villa. Shops are open from about 7am until 7pm every day (some close for siesta) and the majority close Sunday mornings. Many of your favorite products and brands may not be available.
Croatia offers many handcrafted souvenirs. Filigree jewelry, coral, pearl, embroidered table cloths, linen, Dalamatian wine, spirits, preserves and dried fruit.
Electrical, Phones & Music

Electricity in Croatia is 220 Volts. European 2 pin plug.
Mobile phones
Check with your service provider for coverage and roaming fees. There are companies such as Cellular Abroad who offer international phone rentals if you are not a resident of the country. Using your own GSM mobile phone in conjunction with a prepaid SIM card is also very popular and convenient. We will provide you with cell phone that needs to be returned on departure. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Internet Connectivity
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the villa. Most of bars and restaurants have free wireless internet. You normally need to request password.
Car rental companies at the airport include Adex, Adriaplus/Europcar, Anterra/Hertz, Automatic Commerce, Dicar/Budget, Dignitas/Alamo-National, Sixt, Subrosa/Dollar-Thrifty and Uni Rent. You should note that international driver’s licenses are not deemed valid in Croatia.

For any kind of fishing you need to buy a fishing license.The cost of the fishing license for 1 week is 100€. There are no rental facilities for fishing equipment.
Scuba Diving
Scuba diving is strictly regulated in Croatia. In order for you to dive from the yacht, a Croatian dive license is required. This can be bought at a cost of 2500 Kuna for the year. To purchase this license, you will need to produce Dive qualifications. Costs will then be approximately 200 kuna per day and 8 kuna a liter to fill tanks.
The best option is to go through a Dive centre. The cost is approx. 350 Kuna for one dive including rental of all equipment and approx. 550 Kuna for 2 dives, including rental of all equipment, and they will be able to show the best spots along the coast.

We have some limited snorkelling gear which you may wish to use. We are limited on children’s sizes so if you have your own you may wish to pack your own, as children may be more comfortable with what is familiar to them

Health & Safety

Illness or Injury
If you get sick and visit the doctor or hospital during your holiday contact Ana as soon as possible.
We suggest that children who are not strong swimmers should not be allowed in a dinghy without a life jacket or buoyancy aid and that they should wear a buoyancy aid or harness when on beach/pool.
