Our quite first floor apartment is close to coffee shops, bars, restaurants and museums. The popular Calle San Sebastian is just around the corner!
The AC equipped bedroom fits 2 and a luminous hallway takes you to the cozy and silent patio.

This typical high ceiling apartment is located in the heart of colonial town Old San Juan. Steps away from coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and museums, this quiet apartment offers a magic sense of privacy.
It is located on the first floor of an antique building originally used as a hospital, with easy access (no steep stairs to climb) from the quiet Calle Virtud.
The front door takes you to the dining/living area. You’ll be able to prepare your favorites meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
The master bedroom (with a King size bed) is located at the end of the apartment facing the private patio, keeping your dreamy nights away from any street noise. The bedroom is equipped with AC. The room has an absolutely spacious closet.
A bright hallway takes you from the living area to the bedroom, the private patio and the elegant marble tiled bathroom. The bathroom has enough room for one person to move comfortably around and has an excellent and relaxing tub/shower.
The patio is the perfect place for you to relax away from the street. There you’ll find table and chairs and a hammock.

Thanks to its unique layout you will enjoy a refreshing breeze as soon as you open the front and the backyard windows.

Seguramente volveremos a quedarnos mi esposo y yo.

This is place is nothing short of amazing. you arr in the heart of it all. restraunts, bars, clubs, shopping, scenery this place has it all. i would not suggest staying here with kids it is more geared towards adults. The kids will care less about the architecture. lol i would ABSOLUTely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Perfect location to walk to every part of Viejo San Juan. Not every building surrounding this location is renovated and there were a few harmless, homeless people trying to work for a dollar. There's a bar next door with live bands and DJs that will add to the party vibe, but won't interrupt your quietness. The shower drained slowly, but the four shower heads hitting you in all directions made you forget about it. This wasn't a hotel experience with all the perfections, it was a down home experience with a lot of quirks you'd experience in any home. Parking was a couple blocks away. For two days, we paid $54. A taxi from the airport was $20-30, depending on the amount of luggage. There are plenty of Ubers around that were pretty inexpensive as well. The entire experience made me believe I could live and work well in Puerto Rico.

Once upon a time, during the inaugural trip of a cruise ship in the Adriatic Sea there was an on-board Italian photographer who met a young and beautiful Puerto Rican passenger. It was summer 2000.
The rest of their story tells about Carmen studying industrial design and living in Florence, Italy, while Stefano was studying photography and living in Bournemouth, England. They got married in 2003 in the middle of the Puerto Rican Rain Forest “El Yunque” in a 14 crazy hours wedding party.
They moved to Milan, Italy where they lived for three years. Carmen was still studying and Stefano working as a photographer. In 2007 they moved to San Juan, en La Isla Del Encanto and gave birth to their son.
Since then they have lived in the “Las Virtudes” apartment, had their daughter and Stefano from photography got into woodworking. In 2013/14 they moved back to Milan.
In August 2014 they decided to return to the island to start yet again the Caribbean adventure.
