Charming Townhome in Sóller, with great mountain view and wonderful swimming pool.
Regole della casa
We stayed here as three families with kids ages between 3 and 17 and had a really great week. There were plenty of bedrooms/beds to accommodate everyone (13 of us) and the outside space where we spent most of the time was brilliant; lovely terrace to eat at overlooking the garden/play area and pool area which was fenced off and safe. We also used the built in BBQ loads. Perfect location a few minutes walk from big supermarket and 5/10 min walk from main square. The tram running to Port de Soller literally passes just past the bottom of the garden which the younger kids loved. The only negative I would mention are the load cockrels 'singing' from very early every morning but this is the case all over Soller (we had friends and family staying in 3 other locations around town and they all reported the same thing). All in all we loved our stay and would definetly rcommend. Thank you Victor.
A charming and elegant townhouse a short walk from the main square. Perfect location for all amenities - supermarket on the next block and restaurants and shops within easy strolling distance. Lovely clean pool in a private garden with stunning mountain views. We were a party of 10 and there were plenty of kitchen utensils, pans , crockery etc for all and a table and 10 chairs on the gorgeous terrace and another table and chairs inside which could also accommodate all of us - ideal ! Rooms were spacious and clean - some more basic than others. Beds comfortable. Pleasant lounge with sofas and TV.
We were three families with kids who had a wonderful stay at this townhouse. The location was perfect, near a super market and with walking distance to the city centre. The pool was clean and the garden great for kids. The arrival went as smooth as possible, though Soller is a labyrinth of narrow streets if you come by car. The host did everything to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We would stay here again!
The location is fantastic. 10 minutes walk from the city center, the supermarket (which is open on Sunday during the summer) is around the corner and the back of the house is on a garden so it's pretty quiet. The back garden is pretty big, great for kids to play and the pool is a pretty decent size (unlike the previous comment the pool was clean when we arrive so that was good!), there's a gate that closes the pool so it's great if you have young children. The house is a very nice old house, everything is very basic, exactly like in the photos so there are no surprises there. There are beds, clean linens and that's pretty much it. On a side note because it matters to me, all of the bedrooms but one have real blinds, meaning that it's really pitch black when you close them. I love this because I get woken up by the light! I've stayed in places that barely bothered putting curtains up. Overall it's a great house, the only thing was that the terrace's floor hadn't been cleaned up. On the lower floor (where you see the picture of the shower outdoor) they had done some construction and it hadn't been cleaned up either (I honestly didn't realized that we were supposed to be able to use that part as well so it didn't bother me). We had a very nice stay, we were two families with little kids, each family got a floor and it worked well. there was sufficient kitchen appliances, enough chairs for everyone. Victor was quite responsive when we needed him. I agree with the previous comment, this place is great, with a good scrub it would be absolutely fantastic (and probably twice the price).
Although the townhouse is in a fantastic location and the house itself is magnificent there were a few things that let it down. The pool was filthy on our arrival and even though someone came to clean it while we were out the next day it still wasn't entirely clean so we didn't use the pool during our stay, and we couldn't get the hot water to work while we were there so we couldn't shower in the (dirty) bathroom either. We only stayed a few days though and if those things were put right we would definitely return. It is a splendid example of Soller's majestic old townhouses and only a ten minute walk from the centre of town.
