The Telluride Bunkhouse

The Telluride Bunkhouse is designed to take you back in time to the rugged, western days of simple living. It is newly built yet has a cabin like feel and smell of old wood and low light ambiance. Everything was selected to purposely add a rustic appeal. The furniture and props are old, but everything that matters is clean. Sheets, mini fridge, and microwave are brand new. There is no TV or internet inside the bunkhouse. We are completely surrounded by woods, so trees limit access to satellites.

Serenity by the Stream

Cabin in the Shenandoah Mountain surrounded by National Forest on 3 sides. Inside cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and local landscape art throughout. Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Our place is close to Family-friendly activities, art and culture, restaurants and dining, the mountains with scenic views and stimulating hiking trails, caverns and caves, the Shenandoah River, historical centers, parks. You’ll love our place because of the friendly people, the backyard with ponds and patios, the quiet neighborhood, the comfortable beds, the close proximity to town, and hilltop views. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids).

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

Breakaway from the hustle and bustle to a front porch just waiting for you. The wooded setting is a quiet retreat that will make you feel as if you are further away than what you are. The private suite has its own entrance with self-check-in via a keypad. The covered front porch is perfect for sitting on the swinging daybed to read, surf the web, nap, or just soak in the surroundings and let the day go by. Finn's Frolic is our charming, country tiny home. Less than 2 hours DC, Charlottesville. Beautiful farm, mountain views, deck, fire pit, charcoal grill, much more. Landscaping is in the works ! Kitchen is fully equipped, vintage & new dinner wear. Living room has an electric fireplace, huge picture window, comfy love seat. The bedroom is up traditional stairs: loft bedroom, 7 foot sloped ceiling. Great place to relax, base for visits to local wineries, attractions! Perfectly imperfect!

The cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)
