Roan Mountain: soggiorni in baite

This cabin is such a gem for those looking for a sweet getaway for 2. The cabin is so cute and really does remind you of a birdhouse out in the woods! The glass ceiling bathroom really makes you feel like you are showering in the woods. We happened to be there during a full moon and the moonlight in the bathroom was amazing! The hot tub and deck area was such a lovely setting for hanging and cooking outside. We will be back!

When they set up this place they really thought about everything it was the first Airbnb that I’ve been to that they have everything Tylenol, Q-tops, hair ties, they even had water, soda and snacks. it was nicely decorated and very peaceful the hot tub was definitely a nice feature to have. We’ll definitely return.

Natasha’s cabin stay was even better than expected. The photos don’t do justice as to how beautiful and spacious it is! All of the furniture and decor make you feel cozy and right at home. Being surrounded by lots of nature, great food and activities made for the perfect birthday weekend. So looking forward to the next time!!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The location by the river is perfect. The attention to detail here at cabin is remarkable. It had everything we needed and more. Kim was an amazing host. We hope to come back in the future.

el alojamiento esta muy bien ubicado, tiene una hermosa vista, el lugar es muy privado y tranquilo. Recomendable para desconectar del trabajo y la ciudad, todo muy cómodo y acogedor. Cuenta con todo lo necesario si lo que se quiere es no moverse del lugar, buena cocina, parrilla, sillas para descansar, una cama de buen tamaño y el spa para disfrutar del agua tibia. Cerca del lugar hay supermercados para abastecerse o lugares para comer en caso que no se quiera cocinar. La cabaña tiene conexión a internet de buena calidad, así que también se pueden ver películas o series sin problemas en el televisor de la sala de estar. 100% recomendable para quienes busquen un lugar tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza.

Our stay was wonderful. There was so much to do in the area that we were always kept busy, it was nice to have a place that felt like home to go back to. We loved that it was pet friendly and can’t wait to go back with the pets!

It was amazing being right at the AT as well as walkable to Artisun cafe and easily accessible to downtown. We squeezed in 7 people and were just fine for the weekend. It just takes a little food planning with a small fridge and no stove, but between the grill, instant pot, and toaster oven we were just fine. It was a very sweet little space to spend our weekend!

We loved the peace and quiet and yet the cabin was close to town. It had everything we needed with some extra touches which made it feel like home. I highly recommend stay at Brenda's Chicken Coop. She and her husband were wonderful hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Husky Hideaway! Our kids and dogs loved playing outside while we relaxed on the porch. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved having their own space in the loft! The home is in a great location that feels private but safe and is just a short trip to so many fun activities and restaurants. This is a great place for a relaxing family retreat.

Great location! It’s a very comfortable place to stay. We love the restaurants, shopping, hiking and views in the area.

We stayed a couple days in the mountain cabin. Cabin was comfortable with everything you would need. It has breathtaking views and was very peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the fields and mountains. It is very close to Grayson Highlands for hiking and searching for waterfalls. Made a donation to their non profit to have a tour of the farm of rescued animals. Thank you Connie. You can see their passion and love for the animals and what they are doing. For a wonderful stay near the park and in addition your stay can help support their mission, this is an excellent opportunity for a beautiful vacation.

Highly recommend! Though the area is recovering from the recent hurricane damage, we had a pleasant stay and would come back.

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

We absolutely loved Camp Happy Mundo! It was such a peaceful and the cabin was really cozy. We would definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway and will keep it in mind for the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Felt like we were the only ones on the mountain - no cars, no people. I choose this place because of the two recliners. Seating isn't always the most comfortable in some airbnb's. Had the comforts of home. Very communicative host. Will stay again if we travel to the area.

If you're looking for a cabin that feels like home this is it. The cabin was very clean and appeared just like it did in the photos provided. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms have heated floors which is very amazing. The host was very helpful and responded quickly. I definitely recommend this cabin.

We had a great time at the cabin, it was very convenient to blowing rock where we hung out the most. We loved the hot tub! We use the kitchen to cook breakfast every morning, it had everything we needed. The cabin was very cozy and my little one loved the bed in the loft. The winding roads were a little scary at times and there is a neighbor very close by, but we really didn’t see them at all. We wished it had a mountain view that is OK, we were able to see lots of views on our ventures out.

We had a great stay! The directions that Rachel were perfect and helped us have no issue finding the cabin - even when we arrived at night. We were prepared with a 4WD vehicle due to predicted snow while we were there, and it worked out well with the 1”-2” they got. The “driveway” and road leading to the cabin is a narrow, curvy, steep, one-lane gravel road, but for us (from a small rural town) it was no big deal, and it wouldn’t be for anyone in the non-snowy months. The space was clean and had a nice view! Beds were comfortable and clean. Rachel was quick to respond to questions or concerns. We appreciate her sharing their space with us!

Cute quite little cabin in a golf course community. Just as described. Perfect for our stay to see the Brown mtn lights. We plan on staying again in Oct because we loved it so much.

Funky fun cabin with beautiful views and we loved listening to the sounds of the forest and river. The swing on the screened-in porch and the lovely fire pit were fantastic for making memories during our stay as a family. The cabin was lovely and well appointed. Highly recommend!!
