Loved the location and the shepherds hut was perfect! Great for a night or two in an idyllic setting with stunning views, great walk and the perfect perch pub within a few mins walk away. The log fire burner was a bonus providing a warm cosy atmosphere. I loved the sound of the birds singing as well.

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had a fantastic weekend stay in this lovely little gem of a place, the scenery & peaceful surroundings really made it, the hot tub was a definite bonus. The local pubs were very friendly & fantastic food. I would highly recommend this place & can't wait to come back again.

Lovely stay at Joe's - beautiful view from the hut and great walks on the doorstep. Joe was very helpful, from giving clear directions to local recommendations (we enjoyed trips to The Abergavanney and The Juggs pubs which are both a short walk away). The sauna was a great addition and Joe had thought of everything in terms of making the hut cosy and providing breakfast. Highly recommended for a relaxing long weekend!

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. Had a solo stay- lovely hut with small kitchen and fridge. Some thoughtful touches like cold water and juice left on a boiling hot day for me. Very beautiful garden, I enjoyed the nearby sunset and sat out with the wood burner looking at the stars. Magical.

This was a perfect place to stay after a day on the downs. the bed was super comfy, it was great to get a hot shower and Pauline left lots of breakfast bits in the cabin.

stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday and it was such a lovely stay! Karen really went out of her way to make my birthday special by leaving a few gifts and a card, we were really appreciate of that! the hut is absolutely gorgeous and the location is dreamy! loved seeing the little lambs in the fields playing and roaming about! easy to get to Watford and the train links and there's plenty to see and do around including Harry Potter studios which is about a 20 minute drive! I would recommend staying here, we've already told all our friends and family about it and we will definitely be back! thank you again for making our staying so lovely!

Great location to visit the surrounding Cotswolds and a quiet and peaceful place.

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

John and Joan were amazing hosts. John has the hottub to perfect temp for when we arrived and came back in the morning to restart it for the day ahead. Even when we had no charcoal and was on the way to buy some John gave us some of his to save the trip. Very helpful and lovely people. The hut was lovely and private with beautiful surroundings, can't fault it and would definitely recommend.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Emily’s shepherds hut, with our Beagle. The village is quiet, beautiful and clean. The local pub was perfect to dinner on the day of arrival. The drive to the new forest was along picturesque country roads and super easy. We also went to Bath for the day as well during our stay and I would highly recommend! The shepherds hut has everything you could need, and Emily was super helpful when booking. We really appreciated being left to our own devices for our stay and would absolutely recommend if you’re after a relaxed, out of city experience. A magical stay, thank you Emily x

We had a fantastic few days staying in Emma and David’s hut Daisy. It was so peaceful amongst the Christmas trees and was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Emma and David are absolutely lovely and are great hosts. I would definitely recommend staying in Daisy.

If it’s peace, tranquility and cuteness you are looking for then you’ve hit the jackpot with Georgina’s place. It’s in an idyllic location within easy reach of some of the most picturesque areas of the Cotswolds. Georgina has created a beautiful, cosy & inviting space in this unique AirB&B. Under The Owl Tree is the cutest shepherds hut with all you need to make a memorable stay. Waking up to the sound of “the Girls” (hens) clucking around was just a joy and gave an authenticity to a country retreat. Georgina was responsive, friendly and helpful as a host. Highly recommend.

It was exactly as we expected. So peaceful and relaxing with Lovely surroundings and amazing wildlife. All you could hear were the birds chirping and the occasional woodpecker hammering away. Clare was really quick to respond to any question or query we had and we couldn’t fault her. We didn’t walk anywhere but we did get a taxi and the local firm turned up in 10 minutes. But we would recommend not leaving it last minute to book if you’re in a rush. We had a lovely afternoon wine tasting at the local Bolney wine estate and we also visited the cider tap which again we could not fault. Especially the Amazing pizza. We will definitely be staying again and can’t wait to get back chilling in the hot tub. Zee & Emily

Such a relaxing few days with our pups at Elderflower. Great walks in the countryside right on the doorstep. The farm shop and local pubs were also really good. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Really enjoyed my stay and it was a well needed break from life’s stress! it was great that I could take my dog as it was just me on my own so I had company and we were able to walk on the land of which there was loads rather than have to venture out for a walk somewhere - I headed to Sheffield park which is a short drive away I spent the day there. Loved the huts and the added extra of the gypsy wagon which gave a nice rustic camp feel. Really happy with my stay and I have nothing negative to say about it. The only thing I found was getting back out onto the main road was tricky as it’s hard to see traffic coming from the right but other than that It was exactly as advertised. Simple peaceful living for a few days Thanks

Honestly the most peaceful sleep ive had in years the bed the surroundings just everything!!! It was so good for my soul this place definitely comming back without question.. Had a brilliant time the place is bigger then it seems in the pictures so clean and efficient..Thanks soo much again!

We booked Emily's hut for the Easter weekend. She was very welcoming to us and our cat. The location is perfect, easy to find and absolutely beautiful. The hut was spotless and had everything we needed for a short stay. We also enjoyed the lovely walks in the area. During our stay, we met Emily’s family, along with their friendly dogs and cats! We would definitely recommend the hut to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend escape.

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

Lovely stay in shepards hut, hot tub available at all times nice sunset views. Teresa was helpful, friendly and didn’t mind us seeing the animals as much as we wanted would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway and likes animals

We had a lovely stay at Dom’s place. The location is perfect for a couple of days’ break from London, especially if - like us - you don’t drive; it is just a short distance from the station and for a 40 minute journey from zone 1, feels a world away. Dom was very accommodating, especially as we brought our 3 month old baby. The baby enjoyed his first ever swim in the lovely warm pool! And the rest of the amenities/ the hut itself are equally excellent. Would also highly recommend a trip to the Samuel Palmer pub for a pint of locally brewed ale, and the Mount Vineyard for some excellent wines, both of which are a short walk from the hut. Would definitely stay again, thanks Dom!
