Large shepherds hut ideal for families and friends to enjoy a beautiful corner of Wales. Fitted with everything for your convenience but also enough simplicity to connect with nature and the sounds of the countryside. Surrounded by fields you feel that you’ve disconnected from the chaos of society and can relax in tranquillity. The hut is not overlooked. There is private parking for around three cars next to the hut. We allow one medium dog per booking, if you have any questions please just ask.

A traditional bespoke Shepherd Hut in a semi rural location. The hut is positioned a few steps from the Llangollen canal and a three min walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Offas Dyke runs along the towpath .There are two excellent pubs a few minutes walk, post office ,pizza takeaway and cafe. The Hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is direct access to the tow path on which you can walk for miles. I currently have a minimum 2 nights stay but may allow 1 night stay please ask

If it’s peace and quiet you are looking for, then this is the place for you. We are set in the beautiful Welsh countryside, surrounded by hills. We have a smallholding of 20 acres. One of three beautiful craftsman built shepherds huts, Hicks Hut is situated in its own peaceful wildflower meadow The shepherd's hut has a wood burner for cosy warmth and is a great way to have a romantic fire lit evening! The hut has its own en-suite shower and loo. During spring and summer the beautiful blooms of wildflowers attract lots colourful butterflies and pollinating insects. The hum of the wild life and the gentle trickle of the stream alongside creates a relaxing stay.

This is camping made easy in a comfortable shepherds hut with breathtaking views, amazing sunsets and plenty of birdsong. Basic facilities include a fire pit, cold water shower, pot washing sink and composting toilet. No wi-fi, just peace to enjoy the natural world. You can also take a guided walk with our Shetland Ponies and discover how we are combining farming with nature conservation.
